the big door behind him as he turned to the red skinned man, "Where's the telepath?"
"Not here"
"To bad. Now I can take this silly thing off", the man said before he slowly took of the helmet. He continued his walk forward, "Good evening. My name's, Sebastian Shaw. And I am not here to hurt you"
In that moment a Agent entered the courtyard and pointed his gun at him, "Freeze!"
Bit Shaw just looked at his follower, "Azazel?" The red man teleported himself to the agent and quickly killed with his blades.
"My friends, there's revolution coming. When mankind discovers who we are, what we can do. Each of us will face a choice. Be enslaved or rise up to rule. Choose freely, but know that if you are not with us- then by definition you are against us."
The man looked at them smirking, "So, you can stay, and fight for the people who hate, and fear you. Or you can join me and live like kings- And Queens."
They all looked at him, Elenor was still afraid of him, but she would never use her power to rule over People, so she would never agree with Shaw.
But Angel slowly took a step forward and took his hand before the man slowly lead her outside.
"Angel?"
"Are you kidding me?"
The dark haired girl looked at them, "Come on, we don't belong here- and that's nothing to be ashamed of."
They both turned around and walked towards the courtyard, "We have to do something", Raven whispered to them as they watched Angel's back.
"Stop, I'm coming with you!", Darwin suddenly excalimed as he approched Shaw. The man looked at him smirking, "Good choice. So tell me about your mutation."
Darwin shrugged at him, "Well, I adapt to survive- so I guess I'm coming with you."
The teenage group slowly made their way over to the door as they watched them carefully.
Darwin stood next to Angel as he suddenly yelled, "Alex!" The blonde boy shouted, "Get down!", at the others before he turned to Shaw.
They all ran out of the room as Alex started to create the red circles again. Moments of complete silence passed by before they suddenly heard a big explosion.
And, 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵, their new found friend, Darwin was dead.
In the early morning they all sat infront of the building. "I can't believe she betrayaled us like that", Raven breathed out as El nodded her head in agreement.
Elenor had really liked Darwin. The girl had enjoyed his company, he had seemed like a honest and kind human- like a good friend. She was thankful for his protection that night, for her Darwin had died as a hero.
She shook her head still deep in thoughts, they had lost two friends- in one night.
Elenor had played with the rings on her fingers for the last hour as she glanced at Alex a couple of times. He had witnessed Darwin's death- which must've been very hard for him.
"I just can't believe he's dead", Alex suddenly breathed out from bedsides her. "Me too", she continued to stare ahead as her voice cracked a bit.
No one said anything, they just sat there in silence comforting each other for a while, and eventhought Elenor didn't really new how real family felt like- she knew that this people were her family.
"Raven, El!", Charles voice suddenly interrupted her thoughts as he got out of his car and ran towards them. Raven let go of El's hand as she walked towards the man and hugged him tightly.
"We've made arrangements for you to be take home immediately", Charles spoke up as they pulled apart.
Elenor's heart immediately sunk at his words, she couldn't go back home, there was nothing for her- no one who waited for her. She wanted justice - for Darwin.
"We're not going home", the young brunette shook her head at him.
"What?"
"Charles, I don't even have a home to go back to", she looked at him before she turned to Alex, "And he's not going back to prison!", the woman pointed at the blond boy who still sat on the bench.
"They killed Darwin", Alex finally spoke up as well.
"- all the more reason for you to leave. This is over", Charles responded with the group of teenagers.
"Darwins dead and we can't even bury him." They all looked to the ground upset.
Erik gaze fell onto the group, "We can avange him". El looked up from the ground and turned her head towards the man.
Charles furrowed his eyebrows, "Erik, a word please."
The group watched as Charles and Erik walked away and whispered to each other. Elenor just hoped that the two would decide to let them stay- because after her new knowledge of mutants, she wasn't going back into her old boring life.
After a short moment Charles looked back at the group, "We'll have to train- all of us, yes?"
"Yeah!", Alex answered him happy.
"Well we can't stay here", Hank spoke up for the first time, "Even if they re-open the department, it's not safe. We've got nowhere to go."
Charles looked at the teenagers as if he knew something they didn't, "Yes, we do."
In the afternoon Elenor stood in between Alex and Raven, staring at a, in Sean words- big ass mansion.
"This is your's?", Sean asked Charles who stood infront of them. "No it's ours", Charles answered them with a wide smile on his face.
"It's good to be back, Charles." Elenor smiled as she looked at the mansion her hands in her jeans pockets.
"Honestly Charles, I don't know how you survived. Living in such hardship", Erik told him sarcastic as he eyed the mansion.
"Well, it was a hard ship, softened by me", Raven explained as she side hugged Charles who gave her a soft kissed on the head.
"Come on, time for the tour!", she announced happyly as she started walking away.
"Is there something going on between the two?", Sean whispered to Alex and El quietly. But Elenor furrowed her eyebrows and wrinkled her nose at the two boys. "No, ew- they're like brother and sister. They know each other since they are little."
Alex looked at Sean and smirked, "Yeah, I bet they are", the two fist bumped.
"You two are disgusting", Elenor said as she rolled her eyes and followed after the others.
It had already been a couple of hours since they arrived at the mansion and El stood across from Sean, next to Alex as she looked out of the big window.
The two watched Erik, and Charles who was now pointing a gun to Erik's forehead. "What's he doing?"
"I don't know", Elenor answered as she eyed them sceptical. "What is who doin'?", Sean asked as he stood besides Alex chewing his food loudly.
"Ew- dude come on really?", Alex asked him disgusted as he pressed his face away form him. "Dude come on really", Sean mocked in a high pinched voice as he looked through the window again still chewing.
Elenor rolled with her eyes at them before she truend her head back at Erik and asked worried, "Is he going to shoot him?"
"Dunno", was all Sean mumbled before he bit into his sandwich again.
Alex patted her shoulder, "Realx, it's probably just training."
"Come Cassidy, we're going to look where Raven and Hank are", Alex spoke up as he pretended to make out with the air.
"You're such a child, Alex!", El shouted after him before she looked back Erik and Charles.
Elenor breathed out in relive as she noticed that Charles had not shot him, but just then she realized that the window had been open the hole time and that Charles and Erik looked at her, both with furrowed eyebrows.
Her breath hitched in her throat as she awkwardly waved at the two smiling. "Elenor, would you come down here for a second?", Charles asked her friendly.
"Give me a sec!", the young woman told him before she quickly made her way downstairs and out of the mansion.
As she arrived by the two men Charles just pointed at a gigantic cell tower that stood in the distance. "Try turning it to face us."
Erik looked at him for a moment before he finally held up his hands and started to concentrate on the cell tower.
After a short moment Eriks whole body began to shake and Elenor could clearly see that it costed him much strength.
But the cell tower didn't move, it remained were it was. Erik let his hands down as he breathed out heavily and leaned on the railing infront of him.
"You know I believe the true force lies somewhere between rage and serenity", Charles told him before he looked at Elenor. "Would you mind, if she-", he pointed a finger at the brunette besides him and then at his head.
Erik slowly shook his head and Charles nodded at Elenor, who looked unsure. "Charles, I don't know if this is such a good Idea."
"See it as part of your training", the man reasoned with her as he pushed the brunette a little towards Erik.
She slowly approprached the man, Is it okay if I-", she held her hands up to his face. The man nodded again, not saying anything at all.
She slowly touched the sides of his face as she closed her blue eyes. A lot of pictures rushed past her as she tried and searched for some happy and emotional memory that would help Erik with his power. And at last she finally found something in his mind.
Her eyes shot open as she saw the memory of Erik as a little child, he sat at a round table with his mother, celebrating his birthday. They smiled at each other as his mother softly stroked his cheek.
Tears slowly whelmed up in Elenlor's eyes as she could feel and see all the bad things that had happened to Erik.
A couple of tears leaked from his eyes and made their way down on Eriks face before El slowly took her hands away from him and stepped back.
Erik blinked a few times before he looked at her again, "What did you just do to me?"
Elenor opened her mouth to say something but she was at a loss of words as she whipped a tear from her cheek.
"She accessed the brightest corner of your memory system", Charles explained to the man in front of him.
"That was a very beautiful memory, thank you, Erik", Elenlor quietly spoke up as she looked at the man who smiled lightly, but still sad.
"I didn't know I still had that."
Elenor saw that Charles wanted to say something but she couldn't stop the words form coming out of her mouth, "There's so much more to you than you know. Not just your pain and your anger. There's good in you, I felt that."
She looked to the ground a bit ashamed of what she just said to a man she didn't even really knew.
But when she was inside his head she felt all he had ever felt and there was this good heart inside of his darkness.
Her gaze fell back onto Erik, who was still looking at the brunette, Charles cleared his throat awkwardly. "If you can access all of that, you will possess a power no one can match. Not even me."
He clapped him on to the shoulder, "Now come on. Try again."
They all looked back at the cell tower as Erik lifted his right hand into the air and slowly turned the hole cell tower towards them.
The two men started laughing as Elenor chuckled and clapped with her hands. She stopped and crossed her arms over her chest as she smirked at Erik who was still laughing, "Well, that was impressive."
The two glanced at each other before they turned their heads back ahead eyeing the cell tower.

That evening Elenor couldn't sleep at all, she didn't knew what it was but she rolled from side to side trying to sleep. But she just couldn't, so the young woman decided to empty the fridge in the kitchen and make herself a cup of tea.
The brunette wandered through the large halls of the mansion as the moonlight of the full moon shone onto her face. Her steps quietly echoed as she continued her way towards the kitchen.
As she finally arrived in the kitchen she quickly opened the fridge to search for something eatable- and found some bread and jam.
As Elenor closed the door again she let out a quiet scream as she came face to face with Erik who just looked at her.
"Sweet jesus!", she looked at him as she hit his chest with her hand, "Don't do this!"
The man started smiling a bit, "I'm sorry. I didn't meant to scare you like that."
El slowly sat down by the table and spread the jam on the bread before she looked up at him again. "I'm making myself a tea. Do you want one?" Erik just shook his head, "So what are you doing up?", he asked as he sat down on her opposite.
"Couldn't sleep, you?"
"Couldn't sleep."
The brunette chuckled as she poured herself a cup of tea. The woman eyed him closely as she put her cup down onto the table. "Erik, I wanted to thank you again for earlier. I think if it were me, I would never let some stranger into my head. So thank you again."
"It's not that big of a deal, I mean you're not exactly a stranger anymore", he smile at the woman infront of him.
"So, a question I wanted to ask for a while. How did Charles found you?", she questioned as she tried to blow her hot tea a bit colder.
The man looked at her for a second, "I- uh- I tried to raise a submarine."
"I guess, I don't wanna know why?", she asked him as she raised an eyebrow, of course she knew why, but she didn't wanted to let him know she knew everything about him because she had been inside his head.
"No, we are not quite there yet", the man assured her as he stood up from his chair.
"Goodnight, Erik", the woman told him softly as he walked towards the door.
He stopped in his trail and looked back at her, "Goodnight, Elenor."
The next morning they started with the training and the first one of them was Sean. Hank had designes a suit with wings and wanted to test if it would actually work.
So now the young boy was sitting on the frame of a big window, his legs dangling in the air. Raven, Alex, Erik and Elenor watched from the window that was next to them.
"Now remember, scream as hard as you can. You need the sound waves to be supersonic. Catch them at the right angel, and they should carry you."
Sean looked at Hank unconvinced, "They should carry me, that reassuring."
"Good luck", El shouted from the other window as she eyed Sean.
"And don't forget to scream!", Charles repeated himself once more.
Raven watched him as well as she shook her head, "He's going to die."
"Yup. $5 says he falls ", Alex told them as he watched their friend.
"Make it ten", Raven raised as she looked at Alex smirking.
Sean made a cross over his chest which mad Erik and Elenor both chuckling as they exchanged a amused look.
Sean slowly leaned forward and at last, he had the bravery to jumped out of the window- screaming like a seven year old girl before he hit the floor with a dull sound.
Elenor gasped shocked before she asked him worried, "Is everything all right?"
Sean rolled over so that he looked up into the sky as he grunted. "Yeah, I'm all right."
"Okay, how many fingers do I hold up?", Raven asked him as she held up two fingers.
"Four?"
The teens exchanged worried looks before they quickly stormed down to help their friend.
After Sawn Elenor was the next, it was her first training session and she didn't really knew what she had to expect.
She stood next to her old friend, "I don't know, Charles", she told him unsure as she looked at the two trees that were standing right infront of them.
Charles wanted her to uproot the two gigantic trees, exchange them and palace them back into the ground.
"I think that is one of the easiest thing you can do. You are powerful and I think that's nothing compared to what you're capable of, El."
She looked at him for a moment, "Everytime I use my powers somebody gets hurt."
Charles sighed, "Elenor, listen. You're not going to loose control. I won't let that happen!"
He grabbed her shoulder assuring, "You're extraordinary. You are one of a kind and I'm sure that one day you're gonna be even more powerful than me!"
"Don't let your mutation control you. Don't let it override your humanity!"
He pointed at a really large stone, "Now go ahead. Oh- and please be careful that you don't hit my tree with it."
Elenor quietly nodded her head before she turned completly to the large stones.
She slowly lifted her hands up and started to form a red energy ball of misty light. The brunette let the red surround the three large stones completely.
Multiple strings of magic surrounded them, begging to lift the stones into the air. "Remmember, control it", Charles voice spoke up inside of her head.
Her arms began to feel tired, arching under the large weight of the trees, but she pushed herself to her limit.
They now were maybe a feet above the ground as she started to move her hands around each other, slowly exchanging the three trees.
But after that she couldn't hold them anymore so she quickly let them fall into place, making the ground shake a little.
The young woman leaned onto her knees as she breathed heavy. But then she suddenly realized what she had just did and her eyes widended before she looked at Charles, "Oh my god! I did it!"
She jumped up and down as she hugged him tightly. "Thank you! oh! thank you so much!", she exclaimed still overwhelmed by the joy.
Charles, who was a bit surprised by the hug, awkwardly patted her back as he smiled before they continued with their training.
Elenor contiued to lift a couple of different things before they practiced her combat skills and afterwards her telepathy until it got dark.
She was extremely tired and could feel her arms anymore as she let herself fall onto her soft bed. Her eyelids felt heavy and at some point the young woman drifted of into sleep.
