back to her senses, a gasp escaped her lips. The woman jolted up from her laying position, her eyes darting around, scanning her surroundings as quickly as they could.
Her gaze slowly traced down on herself, grunting while she eyed the wound on her abandoned closely. The wound was hurting, but it wasn't bleeding.
Erik had patched her up, probably in the hope that her wound wasn't as bad as it had looked.
Her head was a bit dizzy but she managed to push herself up from the bed she had just laid on.
She was in Erik's and her bedroom, the arrow had been removed, but she was still in her cloths from before.
The mutant quickly made her way out of the room, passing Nina's, which was empty.
The memory of what had happened flashed through the woman's mind, reminding Elenor of the horrible images.
The tears started making their way down her cheeks as she slowly approached the room.
Her eyes remained on Nadia's teddy, that sat on the pillow, waiting for her.
Elenor made her way through the room, grabbing the teddy before she made her way outside without looking back.
The door was open, a cold breeze making a shiver run down Elenor's spine. She made her way outside, panic spreading through her body. Erik was nowhere to be seen and she had a bad feeling.
Elenor called out Erik's name a few times, but there was no answer.
A thousand thoughts ran through her head and the only person she immediately thought of was no other than Charles Xavier.
She turned towards the cars and by the edge of the wood she spotted something on the ground.
She made her way over the grass and as she stood infront of their family picture. The earth was turned over and their picture laid on top of it.
Elenor pressed the teddy to her chest, tears started to whelm up in her eyes. The woman couldn't stop the images from rushing back to her again and again. She could still feel her daughters body against her own. The life leaving her daughter.
Elenor felt how her legs trembled and she breathed rapidly, feeling like she would choke on her own tears.
At last she fell onto her knees, letting out a loud scream. Her chest felt like she would explode and as soon as she hit the ground a red wave of mist errupted from her body.
It rushed over the landscape and Elenor bent over as she heard the leaves of the trees moving.
For a long while the woman couldn't bring herself to stand up, so she just sat there, sobbing.
She couldn't believe that Erik had just left her behind. He wouldn't. Only if he thought that she was dead. The other option was that something had happened.
The ginger pulled herself together. Erik had to be her priority right now, she ha to find him before he would do something terrible that he couldn't take back.
The ginger got into her car despite her pain and drove to the airport, immediately booking a flight to New York, Westchester County.
The flight wasn't great but at last she arrived in Westchester County. She parked her car infront of the gigantic gate, making her way inside the campus.
Elenor couldn't believe it, Charles really did rebuild the school. There were students everywhere, walking over the campus, playing basketball and studying under the trees.
The ginger made her way through the campus and inside the mansion. Eventhough it was a school now, nothing had really changed inside.
Elenor let her gaze wander over the old furniture. It was still the exact same as it were years ago.
She made her way down the corridor, some students casting her curious glances.
The woman ignored them as she stopped infront of the large wooden door that lead to Charles office.
Hearing his voice after all this year made her feel sentimental, but Charles didn't seem to be happy.
"You still sound just like him!", Charles angry voice could be heard. "You still sound just like Erik!"
There was silence before she could hear Raven, "That's why I'm here. He's resurfaced. He had a wife and a child. They we're killed. Along with a handful of Police men."
Elenor wasn't convinced that Charles would help her find Erik, but she had to hope. The ginger slowly pushed the doors open, limping inside.
Raven and Charles eyes snapped towards her, both seeming extremely surprised to see her.
"El? What- bloody hell! What are you doing here?"Charles approached her quickly, looking up at the woman from his wheelchair he smiled.
"It's good to see you, but I'm not here for a reunion", her gaze trained on the blond woman.
"Raven you are misinformed", there was a small silence before she continued. "His wife didn't die. I know that because I'm his wife."
There was silence before the blond raised an eyebrow at her disbelieving. "You're his wife?", Raven questioned the ginger. "You married him?"
Elenor frowned at her, "Is that so hard to believe?" Raven remained silent and Charles seemed to be left speechless.
"The whole world will be after him now", the brunette man stated after he had exchanged a look with them.
The ginger haired woman straighten up before she gave him a long look. "Well, you can help me find him before they do."

had left Charles office she spotted no other than Moira McTaggert standing on the other side of the room. And she was even more speechless when she realized who Moira was talking to.
"I can't believe it! Is that you Alex?!"
The blond man turned to face her, surprised to hear Elenor's voice after all these year. "El?"
For the first time since the last couple of hours the woman could feel a small smile crossing her face.
The two friends quickly approached one another, throwing themselves into each other's arms.
"You look good, Summers", she smiled as they let go of each other.
Alex looked her up and down a charming smile on his lips, "I can't lie. You look like crap."
"Wow. Thank you. Charming as ever", the ginger sighed as they both chuckled.
She spun around to Moira, "Moira McTaggert. I thought I would never see you again."
The short haired brunette seemed confused, "Excuse me. Do I know you?"
Elenor shook her head, thinking back to the day were Charles had whipped her memory of Cuba. "No, but you will."
"I hate to break up this reunion but we have to hurry up", Charles joined in, motioning for them to enter the elevator.
The group stepped into the elevator and went down to the lowest level.
as soon as the doors swung open, the group stepped out into the corridor and Charles opened the doors to the familiar round room.
"Moira I'm going to have to ask you to keep this a secret", Charles stated as he arrived by the table, the others following after him.
"I don't even know what this is."
Raven let her gaze wander around the room. "It's Cerebro. The new model."
"I based the color on-", Hank went quiet as he met Raven's gaze. "-it doesn't matter."
Charles put on the helmet, which started glowing in a extremely blue light as soon as it touched his head.
Suddenly a explosion of white light went off right infront of them and out of nowhere they seemed to fly through the galaxy.
Elenor looked around, eyeing the little white figures that had appeared above and besides them.
"What are those?", Moira questioned the other's confused. "Those are all the humans of the world."
Suddenly the little white figures went red and Charles continued, "And these are all the Mutants. I'm connected to all of their minds."
Moira seemed rather impressed as she let her gaze wander around, "The CIA would kill for this."
"I know they would." Charles had a sad look on his face before he went on. "Where are you, Erik?"
Elenor stood besides Charles, trying to control her feelings as she nervously shifted her weight bfrom one leg onto the other.
"Hello, old friend." Elenor's head snapped towards Charles, eager to know if Erik was all right.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I feel your pain and your loss." Charles eyes had watered up quickly.
There was a short silence. "What happened to your family, it was terribly wrong. But come back to us. I can help you."
Silence. "Think of your wife, what would she want? Think of your daughter. What would have she wanted?"
There was again a longer silence before Charles face expression suddenly changed drastically. "Hank?"
The man leaned down to Charles. "He's not alone."
A small shiver run down Elenor's spin. Suddenly the handles of Cerebro started moving on their own. "Charles? What's happening?"
The man remained silent, staring straight ahead. "Oh my God!"
Suddenly the red light around them changed into purplish light.
"Charles, get out! Charles!"
Hank tried to control the machine while Elenor tried to speak to Charles. "Charles?"
She saw how his eyes suddenly changed. "I"ve never felt power like this before!"
"Charles, get out of there!"
"What's going on? What's happening here?"
Hank tapped things into the machine, "I think- someone's taken over Cerebro. They've taken control of it."
Raven frowned, "To do what?"
"To connect."
"Charles!", Hank screamed at the man before he suddenly tried to snatch the helmet from his head.
There was electricity going up his arm as he screamed out, immediately letting go of the helmet.
Now Charles was screaming bone shattering. Raven hectically grabbed onto her oldest friend, fear in her eyes while she screamed at Hank to do something.
The man started to hit his fists onto Cerebro and ripped the wires out but nothing happened. "It won't shut down!"
Suddenly Charles spoke up, "Alex!" The young blond man looked at him, "What?"
"Destroy it! Destroy Cerebro! Destroy everything!" Alex dashed onto the edge of the platform, looking back at Charles for confirmation.
The brunette man nodded in pain, "Wreak Havok!"
Alex threw his arms in the air without hesitation and screamed while a red large beam shot out of his chest.
Charles screamed out again while Alex continued to destroy Cerebro, shooting another two beams out of his hands.
The walls started to fall apart and Alex stopped, leaning on Elenor, who immediately caught him.
Hank and Raven freed Charles from the helmet and the group quickly made their way outside.
"Charles, Charles? Are you okay?"
The doors closed behind them and everyone released a breath before Elenor, Alex and Moira suddenly spotted something purple on the other side of the hallway.
The purplish light disappeared and revealed a group of mutant, including Erik. Elenor let go of Alex, her breath hitching in her throat.
"Erik?", she choked out quietly. But Erik's eyes were only trained on Charles. He held up his hand and Charles flew towards him.
"Charles!"
Alex immediately started running towards the group, "Hey! Hey Asshole!"
Elenor stepped forward, fear taking her over. "No! Alex don't!"
"All will be revealed my child!", the weirdly looking man at the front stated before they quickly disappeared into the purplish light.
Hank had followed Alex, as well as Elenor, who moved her hands, the red mist twirling around her fingertips.
But it was too late, Alex had shot a beam at the mutants and the portal disappeared.
The red beam hit through a door behind them and within two seconds a massive explosion went off.
Elenor could see the fire rushing quickly towards her and she continued moving her hands to built a force field but then there was a strong breeze. The woman opened her eyes and realized that she was standing outside the building on the gras.
The red mist slowly disappeared from her hands as she hectically looked around.
There were students standing around her, all as confused as the woman. The mansion infront of them was completely destroyed. Nothing was left.
"We're did you-", Elenor heard Hanks voice from besides her, which made her turn around.
"I was looking for the professor. I thought he lived here", the grey haired boy infront of them stated.
Suddenly Elenor remember, this was Peter, the boy who had helped them free Eric before the things in Washington happened.
"They took him."
Elenor let her eyes wander around, realizing that everyone stared at Raven, whispering to each other.
The blond had changed into her mutant form and seemed pretty uncomfortable with everyone staring at her.
Hank placed his hands on his hips, looking at her, "They look up to you. Right now they need you."
"That's not what they need." Raven changed into her human form when suddenly a car approached them.
Four students jumped out of it, a young brunette boy with large dark glasses approaching them. "What happened? Where's Alex? Where's my brother?"
Elenore scanned her surroundings again, not spotting Alex blond hair anywhere. A dark feeling spread through her stomach.
"Pretty sure I got everybody", the grey haired boy besides her stated as he shrugged with his shoulders.
"Alex was closest to the blast", Hank stated quietly as Elenor sunk to the ground, a hand on her mouth.
Her lips started wobbling as she felt her eyes water up. He couldn't be dead. She couldn't take two losses in less than one day. He had been her friend.
The brunette boy seemed to realize what had happened and started to make his way through the debris of the Mansion.
A tear rolled down Elenor's cheek as she clapped a hand over her mouth. But she didn't have time to grieve because her attention was drawn to a helicopter approaching them.
"Please remain calm. Medical assistants is on the way." A voice spoke through a loud speaker.
The ginger narrowed her eyes at the helicopter, which now landed not far away from them.
"Please remain calm. Medical assistants is on the way."
There were agents jumping out of the helicopter and Elenor already found that very suspicious, but then she spotted Stryker, who she knew from Washington DC.
Her eyes went wide in shock, Raven screamed out from besides her loudly.
"Wait!"
The man didn't hesitated, "Fire!"
Elenor moved her hands, her red magic taking ahold of the helicopter but suddenly there was something shot at them and the world went dark.
