rather sunny and peaceful day when Elenor awoke next to Erik.
The woman could listen to the birds chirping outside her window when she rolled to her side, facing the man besids her.
His chest was calmly moving up and down while his eyes remained closed. Elenor smiled quietly to herself as she slowly placed her hand on his chest, letting her fingers dance over it softly.
A small smile spread over the man's lips, while he placed his hand over hers. Giving her hand a loving squeeze he faced his wife.
"Morning."
Elenor looked up into his ocean blue eyes, "Morning."
The two remained in their positions completely silent. After a moment Elenor got up slowly and made her way over towards their kitchen.
The ginger prepared their coffee qhile Erik sat up, watching her from their bed.
The woman turned back towards him, leaning with her back against the kitchen counter. Her ginger hair was up in a messy bun and her eyes were still sleepy.
Their gaze met and both of them smiled once more.
Elenor let her gaze wander over the man's messed up hair. His blue eyes were scanning over her body, that was only covered by one of his large shirts.
"Did I ever tell you that you look very handsome in the morning?", the woman suddenly questioned her husband.
The man let out a quiet laugh, still watching her. "No. But thank you", he stated while the woman handed him his coffee.
She sat back down onto the bed, joining him. They both finished their coffee and when Elenore wanted to get dressed Erik pulled her back into bed.
The woman let out a squeal before she hit the pillow, chuckling loudly.
Erik started to kiss down her neck, making the woman laugh out loud while she tried to wiggle out of his grip. "Erik we can't. We have a lot of stuff to do."
"I don't care", the man murmured into her neck while he continued. Elenor sighed before the two faced each other, kissing passionated.
When the two pulled back Elenor laid with her back against his chest, starring into the direction of the window.
Suddenly the door flew open and one of their friends stormed inside. Erik and Elenor sat up immediately.
"I apologize for my interruption, but we have a visitor. She's asking for you Erik."
Elenor immediately got onto her feet, snapping with her fingers, Erik's shirt changed into a pair of jeans and a top.
The ginger slowly made her way over to the window, gazing out she spotted no other than Jean.
Elenor looked back at Erik, "It's Jean."
The man didn't hesitate, he immediately got out of his bed and changed. A couple of seconds later, he was already outside.
"Leave her", he commanded to the other's, who had already gathered around the young Mutant girl.
His people took a step back when they heard his voice and gave them space. Erik seemed sceptical when he landed infront of Jean, "Why are you here?"
Jean eyed Erik and then Elenore, who was standing on her opposite next to Erik, "I need a place to stay."
Erik remained silent, showing no reaction before Elenor approached the girl. Carefully placing an arm around Jean's shoulders, Elenor lead her inside.
"Do you want something to eat or drink?", the ginger questioned the girl, trying to gain her trust.
Jean nodded her head, "Something to drink would be nice. Thank you."
"Are you hurt?", Erik questioned the girl, while handing the ginger a cup of tea.
Jean just stared out of the window, watching the mutants that were gathering outside, "No."
Elenor sat down as she eyed the teenage girl closely, "You'll have to forgive them. They're not accustomed to uninvited guests."
Erik motioned for Jean to sit down as well, "Please."
When the two had settled down Erik spoke up again, "Why don't you start at the beginning?"
The girl released a shaking breath while she avoided eye contact.
"Whose blood is that?", Erik suddenly questioned the girl curiously. Jean seemed confused when she met his gaze, her brows were furrowed. "What?"
"On your shirt. Whose blood is it?", the man repeated his question while he nodded at Jeans bloody shirt.
Elenor saw the fearful look Jean had, when she spotted the dried blood on her shirt and decided to engage into the conversation.
"Look, we're not Charles. I'm not going to read your mind. And Erik can't."
Jean sniffed loudly before she looked at Erik again, "You hurt people."
The man seemed taken back by her stament. He took a slow sip from his cup. "It's been a while."
Elenor placed an assuring hand on his thigh. "But you did", the teenage girl stated hardly.
Erik grew impatient now, "Yes. What did you come here to ask me?" Elenor nudged his shoulder, signaling him to be more tender.
"How did you stop?", Jean questioned, still seeming scared of something.
There was a long silence between them, but at last Erik answered her. "I've lived with vengeance my whole life. Ever since I was a child, I lost everyone I ever loved, well almost everyone-"
His gaze met Elenor's and the woman just met his gaze and smiled softly. His eyes wandered back to Jean.
"So, I hurt people. Yes, killed people. Killed whatever I thought would make the pain go away. It didn't. No matter how many souls I sent under- so I stopped."
"I don't know how to stop. I don't know what's happening to me", the girl whimpered quietly. "When I lose control thing happen, bad things- to people I love."
Elenor remained quiet, just watching the girl on her opposite. But Erik pressed again, "Whose blood is that? Isn't that why you came here? What do you think I can do for you?"
"I don't know!", the young ginger exclaimed while she tried not to break out in tears.
"Yes, you do! Whose blood is that?", Erik repeated his question as he placed his cup onto the sink.
The tears streamed down the girl's cheek, "I don't wanna talk about it."
"Did you hurt someone?", the man continued while he approached her.
"Please, I-"
The man wouldn't let her finish, "Answer the question, Jean!"
"Stop Erik. You're making me angry!", she placed her hand on her forehead.
"Good! I want you to be angry! Show me what happens, Jean!", he watched how she started panicking and Elenore stood up, finally engaging.
She went over to Erik, grabbing him by the arm as she shot him a glare, "Erik, stop!"
"I don't want to hurt you!", the girl exclaimed fearful.
"What happens when your angry! Show me! Show me!", the man went on and on, completely ignoring her warnings.
Jean finally had enough, she jumped onto her feet and stared up at the man angryly. "Stop!"
Suddenly one of Elenor's and Erik's mutant friends entered their house, "We've got military. Inbound."
Erik remained staring at Jean, "Stay here."
The three quickly made their way outside. "Two birds. US."
"Tell everyone to say calm, but ready", Erik stated without looking at the woman besides him. He then met Elenor's gaze and they both nodded at each other.
They could already hear the helicopters before they saw them. Two, with US soliders filled helicopters.
They had just landed and the soliders immediately spread out. They're weapons were already ready to be used.
Elenor couldn't hold herself back from rolling her eyes.
Erik slowly started to approached them, while Elenor remained with the other woman.
Erik raised his hand and the helicopters engine's powered down.
"We have a legal right to be here. This land was given to us by the US government", Erik spoke up first.
One of the soldiers approached him and spoke up when he stood right infront Erik, "We have no intention of taking it back. We're not here for you. We're looking for one of the X-Men. Jean Grey."
Erik face expression didn't change, "I haven't seen her in a long time."
"Then you won't mind if we look around", the Captain stated, while holding eye contact with Erik.
Erik seemed to hold his ground pretty well, "Would you mind if I came to your home unannounced and uninvited?"
The solider remained calm before he spoke in a low tone, "Look, I know who you are. I don't wanna fight."
Erik shook his head lightly, returning the stare, "No, you don't."
"Then step aside", the man commanded him once again, but Erik didn't. "We have the same rights as you and your family."
The Captain seemed a bit annoyed before he sighed and spoke up once more, "Like I said, we're not here for you. We're here for a girl who gave up those rights when she attacked a squad of police officers. They have families, too. Guess you did hear about that."
Erik still stared back at the man, "We don't get the news out here, Captain."
The two remained silent before one of the helicopter engines suddenly started to power up.
The Captain gave Erik a wide eyed look, "Stop that." Nothing happened and the engine continued to power up. "I said stop that right now!"
He grabbed for his gun but Erik just looked at him calmly, "It's not me."
"It's me", Jean's voice suddenly came from above them.
The ginger had her hand pointed at the helicopter while she slowly floated down towards the ground.
"Jean?"
The soldiers immediately prepared their weapons. Elenor knew that Jean would try to kill the soliders.
"Jean!"
The metal started creaking and Jean completely ignored their voices. Soon the helicopter started moving, his propellor destroying everything it reached.
Suddenly one of the propellors nearly hit Erik, making Elenor step up.
Jean was on her way to do the same with the other helicopter, so Elenor approached the gigantic metal device and raised her arms.
The red mist started to form around her hands. The woman saw Jean approached her from the corner of her eye and felt how their powers started to battle for the upwt hand.
The chopper went into the air but Elenor could still hold him down.
Suddenly they could hear guns clocking, which made Elenor move her hands swiftly.
The guns flew out of the soliders hands, leaving them without protection.
She felt this strong force going up against her, a force she didn't even new Jean owned. But despite that the woman remained in her position.
Jean succeeded to move the chopper more towards the Captain, but after a small moment Elenor was able to push it slowly backwards.
Elenor greeted her teeth as she heard Erik's voice from behind her, "Get in the chopper and go!"
The Captain immediately made eye contact with his men, "Fall back! Fall back!"
They all climbed into the chopper as quickly as they could and as soon as everyone was inside Elenor moved her hands and threw the chopper as far away from them as she could.
As she knew they were safe the ginger woman released a deep breath, leaning onto her knees as she bend over.
Elenore wanted to straighten up again before she was suddenly moved by a force.
The woman flew through the air before she hit a couple of bikes. Her eyes went up and she spotted Erik laying besides her.
The man looked back at her before he suddenly got back onto his feet.
His eyes were focused on Jean as he raised his voice in anger, "Leave this place!"
The young girl approached him, the fear in her eyes visible,"I need your help. I thought you protected mutants here."
"I am protecting them- from you. You need to leave", the man contiued and Jean's gaze darkened.
"Go!"
Jean huffed quietly before she flew into the air, soonly disappearing.
Erik turned towards Elenor, helping her up. "You're okay?"
The ginger looked back at him, nodding her head. "Yeah. I'm okay."

by rather quickly, but Elenor just couldn't seem to keep her mind from constantly wandering back to Jean.
The girl had seemed so disturbed and fearful. They should've helped her, not sent her away, but she had been a danger to their society. A danger to their peace with the government, to her live with Erik.
Elenor shook her head as she forced herself to concentrate back onto watering her plants. Jean was not her responsibility anymore, she was Charles.
Elenor's eyes wandered over her surroundings before she spotted a couple of children playing on the other side of the street.
A small smile appeared on Elenor's face, her mind wandering back to a sunny summer day when her and Nadia had been outside in the garden, feeding the deers.
The smiling face of her daughter appeared infront of her before her name was called.
Elenor immediately snapped out of her memory's, her eyes searching for the person that had called out for her.
Her eyes went further up and she spotted Erik, who was standing on their watch out, waving her up to him.
When Elenor joined Erik shd could see a jet landing in the distance, behind the woods.
The woman immediately recognized that the jet was from Charles. So the woman awaited a bunch of X-Men, but to her surprise, only Hank stepped out of the trees.
"Where are the rest of them?", Erik questioned Hank, who approached them slowly.
"No, I'm alone", Hank stated as he looked at them. "What? No, Charles?", Erik frowned at him sceptical.
The two men stared at each other while Elenor approached them. "If you're looking for Jean, she's gone."
"No, I know that", Hank replied to him in a quiet voice. Erik seemed a bit confused, he frowned, "Then why are you here, Hank?"
Elenor came to a stand besides her husband when Hank spoke up, "You have eyes and ears around the world to help you find mutants for this place. I want you to help me find Jean."
"We have no reason to find her", Erik replied to him simply while he exchanged a look with Elenor. "Not for me. Do it for Raven", Hank answered them.
Elenor's eyes immediately lightened up, "Did she sent you? How is she? I haven't spoken to her in a while."
Now Hank couldn't control his face expression any longer. His eyes teared up and he shook his head. "You don't know?"
Elenor frowned at him, "Know what?"
Hank gluped as he held eye contact with Elenor, "Raven's dead. Jean killed her."
Elenor's face expression fell while Erik immediately turned around.
The ginger returned Hank's gaze, her eyes watering up as well. Her stomach felt like it turned upside down. And in that moment something inside Elenor flipped.
"I need you to help me find Jean", Hank still begged them. Erik didn't met Hanks gaze while he spoke, "If I find her, I'll kill her."
"I know."
Elenor stared at the ground before she met Hanks gaze once more, her eyes suddenly went red. "Not if I kill her first."
Her eyes turned back to their normal blue before she titled her head to the right and spun around on her heel.
The ginger threw the door to her bedroom open. The sun was already setting slowly behind the woods, making the last light fall into her room.
The woman breathed heavily as she slowly slipped to the ground. The tears roll down her face before Raven's voice started echoing in her head.
Suddenly Elenor's eyes turned into the glowing red and her mind started rushing back to the last moment they've had together.
They were in the library, standing by the gigantic windows that presented them the best few over the gardens.
Elenor had stood there alone when Raven walked in, catching her off guard.
There was a silence laying between them and Elenor could listen to Raven's thoughts. She didn't want to but sometimes the woman just couldn't help it.
"I'm not staying", the ginger stated before she turned to face her friend.
"I guess I can't change your mind?", Raven questioned her with an raised eyebrow.
A small smile appeared on Elenor's face and she shook her head. "No." The ginger took Raven's hand and gave it a squeeze.
"I will miss you, Raven", she told the blond before she pulled her in for a large hug.
"I miss you already", Raven stated quietly before they let go of each other. "And I hope you finally find your happy ending with Erik."
Elenor still smiled at her friend before they let go of each other. "Are you staying?"
Raven hesitated before she answered her, "Possibly. But you know me, I'm not the hero everyone wants me to be."
Elenor rolled with her eyes, looking at her friend, "Oh, yes you are! They need you! You can do this." SE made a small pause, giving her a sweet smile, "I believe in you."
Raven couldn't help but smile back at her friend, but then Elenor looked at her wrist watch. "I really have to go now. I have to catch a plane."
The ginger met her best friends gaze, "Love you."
Suddenly the images of her and Raven quickly disappeared and Elenor was back in her room, hearing Raven's response only as a quiet and distant whisper.
"Love you too, El."
