a normal life, it was pretty boring and nothing adventures ever happened. And eventhought it annoyed Elenor the young woman also knew that it was better that way, for her and for the people that surrounded the brunette.

Because of her special mutation, a normal life could get pretty dangerous for the brunette. Even a little bit of anger and she could destroy a whole city with the blink of her eye.

Elenor had to learn very early that her mutation was dangerous, when the young brunette got angry or sad terrible things happened and she had no power to control it.

It was a late Friday evening as the young brunette closed the littel shop. The small neon light with the word 'closed' hung at the door and rocked back and forth as only the dim light of the little street lamps brightened up the streets.

The woman turned her head to her left and spotted two men, who were standing in the shadows of the dark street.

Elenor immediately spun around and pretended like she didn't saw them before she quickly threw her key into her bag.

The brunette walked down the small and dark street, but after a short moment she slowly realized that the two men where following after her. Elenor got a weird feeling in her stomach so she grabbed onto her bag tightly as she quickly rounded the corner into a small ally.

She walked further into the ally before she quickly hide behind a Dumpster, and as Elenor had expected, the two men soon rounded the corner as well. She eavesdroped for a second and could hear them quietly whisper to each other.

She slowly leaned her head to the side before she quickly left her hiding spot, a bright red glimmer started to spread in her irises and a red mist twireled around her fingers.

She quickly moved her hands up and the the two men, who looked extremely shocked immediately flew into the air.

Elenor stopped moving her hands for a moment and looked at them before she threw them both hardly against the next wall with a loud thud.

The red mist and the sparks slowly vanished from her hands again before she quickly tried to hurry past the two men on the ground.

“Elenor!?”, the brunette could suddenly heard one of the men whisper in pain. The young woman immediately stopped in her trail as she looked over her shoulder. The man slowly stood up grunting in pain as he held his ribs.

“Elenor, it's me Charles”, the man spoke up again as he clapped the dirt off of his jacked before he looked back at her.

The young man chuckled as he slowly approched the woman, “Don't you recognize me?”

The dim light from the street lamps fell onto his face and in that moment Elenor immediately recognized her old friend.

“Oh my God, Charles!?”, the brunette exclaimed as she clapped a hand over her mouth in excitement. "I'm so sorry", she apologized immediately as they hugged each other.

Now the taller man stood up as well quietly grunting before he started clapping, “Well, that was quiet impressive.”

Elenor slowly let go of Charles and eyed the man for a second, he had a dark coat on and brow hair that he had brushed back. His face was beautiful and he had bright blue eyes that looked like he would look into her very soul.

“And who are you?”

The young man looked at her a light smirk playing on his lips, “Erik Lehnsherr.”

He held out his hand for her to take and Elenor shook it as Charles eyed at her with a small smile. “Is there somewhere the three of us can talk?”

“My flat is not that far away”, Elenor answered him smiling as well as she pointed to a building down the street.

The three quickly made their way down the street before they arrived by her flat.

Elenor quickly opened the door for them before she stepped inside, “Well, it's not much but make yourselves at home!”

Erik and Charles exchanged a look before the two approched the armchairs. Elenor stood in her quiet modern looking living room.

Elenor fell in love with the flat the second she had saw it. Her parents had been, you could say wealthy and when they had died, they left Elenor a hefty inheritance.

Charles leaned into the arm of the chair as Elenor sat down on their opposite. “How's Raven?”, she asked awkwardly shuffling in her seat.

“She's fine”, Charles shortly answered as he let his gaze wander around the room. “So, El —”,  Charles cleared his throat and sent a glance to towards Erik, “— How would you feel about going back to the United States?”

A wide smile spread over her face as her eyes began to sparkel, “Oh, that would be lovely. I wasn't there since our collage time.”

She stood up from her seat and walked towards the kitchen, “Charles, not to be rude or anything but— what exactly do you want from me?”

Charles folded his hands together as he looked at his old friend, “You see, we're assambling a team of people like us. And actually you are the last one needed.”

Elenor looked back and forth between the two man as she put her glass which she had just used down on the kitchen counter. “Well, uh— that's surprising. I mean a second ago I didn't even knew there were others except for Raven, you and I.”

Charles chuckled at his friend, “We are not alone, there are plenty more, Elenor. Plenty more!”

Elenor bit onto her lower lip before she answered him hesitantly, “I honestly would love to— but Charles. You know I can't always control it. I hurt people.”

“I help you control it”, the man assured her as he watched Elenor calmly. “We won't let you lose control.”

Elenor lightly smiled at him, “So— how much time do I have to think this through?”

Erik looked at her seriously as he gave the brunette a short response, “None.”

The women shallowed, but what spoke again it. She did had family here, so what would hold her back.

She sighed loudly before she let herself fall back onto the armchair, “I'm in.”

“Marvelous”, Charles exclaimed joyful as he smiled at her friendly. The brunette's gaze slowly moved from Charles towards Erik. She rose an eyebrow and eyed the taller man sceptical, “So, what is your mutation?”

He still had the serious face expression plastered on his face as he remained silent just eyeing her up and down. “Erik over there, can move metal”, Charles explained to her excited.

“Oh, really. That's pretty cool.” The woman nodded at the tall man who nodded back at her silently.

“What's your mutation exactly?”, Erik then questioned her curious as he still sat in the big dark armchair.

Psionic energy manipulation, telekinesis, telepathy and levitation.”

She moved her right hand into the air and the red mist twireled around her fingers again. The brunette watched it for a while before she let her hand down again.

The man's eyes widened before he looked back at Charles amazed. “So, I think it's time to pack my bags”, the brunette woman smiled at them as she stood up and left the two sitting in their armchairs.
