beautiful day and the birds chirpied loudly as they sat on the big trees that stood in Charles large garden.

"Yes, Hank! That's the spirit!"

Alex and Elenor had been walking over the grass watching Hank as he run in circles, extremely fast around the hole mansion.

Charles patted his shoulder proudly as the two approched them slowly.

"Impressive, Hank", Alex complimented him. "Feet like those, all you need is a red nose. Right, Bozo?"

"Alex", Elenor warned him annoyed as she rolled her eyes at the young boy. "Hank, don't listen to him, that was amazing!"

But Hank only scoffed at them, "I'm done here." He turned around and walked towards the mansion.

"Thank you, Alex", Charles sarcastically told the young and blond boy.

"Yeah, thank you. Alex", El repeated as she slapped the back of his head and quickly made her way after Hank.

Later that day Elenor had proposed to help Charles with the training of the others. So now she stood next to Hank as they gave Alex his suit.

"Sexy"

"Yeah, very"

"This is just a prototype. The real one will look considerably better- there'll just be a whole suit. See these are senors measure tour energy output, this panel focuses it and the excess is absorbed", Hank explained to Alex who looked sceptical.

"Try hitting the one in the middle. Just the one in the middle, mind. Good luck", Charles told him before they all quickly hurried outside.

After a short moment the red lamp above them went on and they walked inside again, Alex had managed to hit every mannequin besides the one in the middle.

"So, uhm- maybe next time", El said as she patted his shoulder and watched the burned mannequin's with a raised eyebrow.

"You really think I'll fly this time?", Sean questioned as he stood infront of Elenor.

"Unreservedly", Charles assured Sean confident.

The young boy turned towards him, "I trust you!" Charles began to smile as he looked at him, "I'm touched."

Sean pointed at Hank, "I don't trust him!" Hank went to say something but Charles held his hand up, "Say nothing."

Elenor chuckled as she looked at Hank who looked a bit offended at his comment.

"I'm gonna die!", Sean yelled hysterical.

"No, you won't!", Elenor assured him eventhought she wasn't sure herself.

Charles shook his head, "All right. Look, we're not gonna make you do anything you don't feel comfortable with, all right-"

"Here let me help him", Erik suddenly said as he pushed Sean off of the platform.

"Oh my- Shawn!", El excalimed scared at the same time Charles shouted, "Erik!"

But as Elenor looked down the boy screamed and the waves carried him up into the blue sky. Elenor could tell that he had fun as he flew past her laughing, which made her smile as well.

But then Elenor and Charles both turned to Erik, "What?", he started laughing as the young brunette slapped his arm. "You know you were thinking the same."

Another day went by and Alex next training session was about to hapoen. The you g boy stood by the other end of the big hall, his suit on. "Wonderful work, Hank. Thank you very much", Charles told the boy with the glasses.

Hank's hand touched the mannequin's breast for a small moment and Elenor gave him a disturbed look as she stood in between Charles and the wall.

"All right, Alex I want you to hit the X. And try not to hit me, there's a good chap", Charles explained as he watched the blond boy on their opposite.

"You're serious?"

"I'm very serious. I have complet and utter faith in you", Charles assured Alex convinced, but the young boy didn't looked as convinced as he did.

Elenor looked at her friend before she slowly took another step towards the wall.

The boy concentrated and suddenly a red beam shot from the device on his chest, hitting the mannequin in the middle as the mutants quickly jumped out of the way.

Alex laughed loudly as they all watched the mannequin burn.

"Am I still a bozo?", Hank yelled at him a smile in his face.

"Yeah, Hank. You are still a bozo!", Alex yelled back but then he smiled as well, "- but nice job."

A light smirk played on Elenor's lips as she saw Hank's big smile on his face as he turned towards the brunette.

The next morning Raven and Elenor sat at the table having breakfast as El bit into her jam bread.

"You know I think we really do have a chance", she said after she had shallowed.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, we stand a chance against Shaw."

"Yeah, I think so too. I mean, you're powers are amazing and Erik and Charles are very powerful", the blond agreed with her. "But I don't really know how I am from use", the woman sighed depressed.

"Oh come on, your ability is so cool. You can trick every one. I mean you could robb a bank looking like someone else and nobody is gonna know that it was you"

Alex had just entered the kitchen as he gave the two a weird look, "Should I be worried?"

"No", both girls immediately replied in synchrony. "Oh by the way, you look like shit", Alex told them as he sat down on their opposite.

"Oh, thank you Alex. Your a real charmer", Elenor said as she narrowed her eyes at him.

Raven sighed, "We didn't slept much last night. I was nervous about what is about to happen. The hole thing with Shaw really stresses me out guys."

Sean who just came around the corner looked at them a bit disgusted, "Uh- you look like shit", he stated as he grabbed a toast.

"Ha- that's what I said!", Alex exclaimed as Sean gave him a high five.

"I hate you two", El told them seriously as she took a sip from her coffee.

"No, you don't. You love us", Sean said as he ruffled her hair and took her cup out of her hand.

"What are you-"

He took a sip from her coffee and smiled at her as he placed it back into her hand.

Elenor frowned, "Gross. Keep it." She pushed the cup towards him before she stood up and left the kitchen.

"She's really grumpy in the morning", Sean stated as he watched her leave.

"SHUT IT SEAN!"

Two hours later Elenor sat outside on the grass as she listened to the brides chirping. "What are you doing here?"

Elenor slowly opened one of her blue eyes and saw no other than Erik who stood right infront of her. "Just enjoying a Sean free moment and you?"

She opened her other eye as well, still looking at Erik who stood now besides her looking down at the women.

"Escaping from Charles."

El chuckled as she patted the place besides her and Erik slowly sat down.

She looked straight ahead as she sighed, "Am I grumpy in the morning?" Erik gave her a confused look, "Is that a trick question?"

"Whatever", she rolled her eyes before she chuckled a bit.

They sat in silence for a moment, "You and Charles disagree on something, am I right?"

His head immediately snapped towards her, "Please don't read my mind", Erik begged her seriously. Elenor looked back at him chuckling, "I didn't. You just look very grumpy."

"He have different opinions on what Shaw deserves", Erik answered her honestly as she looked back ahead. The brunette's head immediately turned towards him again.

She eyed the man for a moment, "You know Erik, killing Shaw will not bring you peace. You're a good man, I know that."

They looked at each other neither of them saying anything until Erik spoke up again, "You know, you can do a lot more than those little party tricks Charles teaches you."

Elenor shrugged as she stared straight ahead, "I still can't control it fully. I could hurt people."

Erik eyed her side profile, "You shouldn't hide. The humans should admire you!"

Elenir looked at him as he softly pushed a hair strand behind her ear. They both remained scilent just enjoying each other's company but then loud voice suddenly interrupted them.

"Come on, the president's is about to make his address!", Moira shouted form the big window.

The two quickly stood up and made their way inside to join the others in the small study room.

Elenor stood in between Alex and Raven as they all listened to the president speech.

"That's where we gonna find Shaw", Erik said as he muted the television.

"How do you know?"

"Two super powers facing off, and he wants to start world war three. He won't leave anything to chance", Charles provided as he stood next to Moira.

"So much for diplomacy", Erik turned to Elenor and the others.

"I suggested you get a good nights sleep." The man walked out of the romm leaving the others in scilence.

In the early evening Elenor sat in the very big living, humming to an old song that Charles' recorder played quietly in the background.

"What are you doing?", Raven's voice suddenly asked her from behind. Elenor gasped and quickly tunered around, "Oh- uh, I just, I don't know- I guess I wanted to see what Charles had been listening to."

Raven chuckled amused, "He still has a really bad taste in music, but this song is actually a killer."

Raven immediately grabbed her by the hand and the two young woman started dancing and singing to the song loudly.

The two girls swayed their hips to the song laughing as the door opened again revealing Alex and Sean who laughed at them.

"What's going on in here?"

"What does it look like, Saw. We're dancing!", Raven asked him chuckling.

"Come over here!", El exclaimed as she waved the two over to them still jumping up and down.

The boys both looked at each other for a moment before they shrugged and then started dancing with them.

Alex with El and Sean with Raven, Sean twireled Raven around and even lifted her up one time- feeling the song.

Alex and El looked back at each other as they erupted in loud laughter. Elenor still swayed to the music with Alex laughing as she saw Charles and Erik standig in the door smiling at the group.

She laid her head on Alex shoulder as she smiled as well- feeling at peace, surrounded by her new Family.

Later that evening, Raven Alex, Sean and Charles and Erik had already went to bed, Elenor still stood in the library reading a book as the moon brighted the room that was only lit by the dim light from the lamps.

She let the books fly through the air as she still listened to a song that was playing. She lightly hummed to it as she twirled her fingers.

"You should go to sleep. It's a big day tomorrow", a voice startled her from behind making her droop the books.

Erik grabbed one of the books from the ground and placed it back into the shelf before he looked at her.

"You scared me", Elenor told him as she grabbed another book from the floor. Erik pushed a smaller book into the shelf as he stood now right besides her.

"You know, you could do so much more than those little tricks, Elenor. I told you that before", Erik spoke up again as he looked at the woman his body still faceing the book shelf.

Eleanor turned her head towards him as well, just looking at the man. "Your extraordinary, your unique. That's why they are afraid of you", he told her still eyeing the young woman.

"Uh- Thank you. You really think that?", she questioned him as she turned her full body towards him.

"Yes. I think that", he noded his head at her not moving. Elenor's breathe hitched in her throat. She didn't knew what it was, but something about Erik drew her towards him. She was attracted to him and she knew it.

Elenor slowly leaned towards him as she got onto her tiptoes. She looked into his brighy blue eyes before she softly placed her lips onto his.

After a short moment Erik kissed her back but then he suddenly pulled away. Elenor's eyes widened and she immediately looked at the ground embarrassed.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have-", she started as she looked up at him again but Erik just took a step towards her again, grabbed her face as he placed his lips back on hers. Eleanor immediately placed her hands on the sides of his face as well.

After a moment her hands wandered around his neck as he placed his hands onto her waist. The two didn't broke the kiss as they stumbled backwards against the table.

They broke the kiss as Erik lifted her into the table and positioned himself in-between her legs before he continued to kiss her.

"Is there anyone?", a voice suddenly interrupted them. Their eyes grew wide as they both looked to the door.

Eleanor held her finger over mouth to signal Erik to be quiet. She quickly approached the door and stepped into the big hallway. "Elenor, what are you still doing up?", Charles asked her confused.

"I-uh, forgot the time while I was reading." She gave him a quick kiss onto the cheek, "Good night Charles!", and with that she quickly made her way up to her room.
