a half year had passed by since the incident in Washington and things had changed since then.

Elenor went back to the Mansion with Hank and Charles, there had been no sign of Logan and Raven since then.

Erik had covered his tracks pretty good, but Elenor kept track of him as good as she could. As far as the woman new, Erik was currently somewhere in Poland.

He had bought a small house and lived far up the civilization.

The ginger had debated back and forth for a while, not knowing if she could face the man after everything what had happened in the past.

Elenor just didn't know if they could make it through. The woman wasn't sure if it would work out for them in the end, but even though she wasn't convinced of her doing, she missed him too much.

So the ginger flew down to Poland and started her search for the most feared mutant in the world.

She had a pretty comfortable room in a little hotel were she stayed a few days. The woman made little trips to the city were she gathered information.

Of course, Elenor couldn't risk exposing Erik's true identity, but she managed to get information without doing so.

In the late afternoon the ginger made her way down the small land road with her rental car.

There were a couple of rumors that a mysterious man had bought the empty house by the edge of the wood and worked in the mines till evening.

As she arrived the ginger parked her car in front of the house. Elenor climbed out of her car, stuffing her hands into her coat pockets as she walked up onto the wooden porch.

There was this calming silence laying on the house and it's surroundings, making Elenor's gaze wander around.

She spun towards the door, eyeing it before she moved her hands slightly. The red magic twirled around the lock immediately and it clicked.

The wooden door slowly opened for her slowly, revealing a nearly empty livingroom.

There was a couch next to a large lamp and a TV was standing infront of it.

Behind the Couch, was the kitchen and Elenor made her way through the room, smiling a bit as she whipe her hand over the white marble counter.

There was total silence, only a few bird's breaking the silence.

Elenor grabbed a beer from the fridge and made her way through the living room, flopping down onto the couche.

She pushed he hood from her head and opened the beer before she turned on the TV.

Half an hour past by and the woman waited patiently until she finally spotted Erik's figure, walking across the backyard, his axe casually placed over his shoulder.

The ginger turned out the TV, straightening up, her eyes staying trained on the closed door.

On the other side Erik hesitated as he spotted a car that was parked infront of his house.

The man let his gaze wander over his yard before he casually made his way over to his house.

Placing the axe against the house wall he reached for the door knob. But before he could turn it, the door swung slowly open.

Erik's body flexed as it stopped halfway through. He pushed it carefully open, revealing Elenor, who sat on the couch, looking at him.

Erik released a deep sighed as his body relaxed immediately. "You came."

Goosebumps run over Elenor's body, and she quickly realized that she had missed him, overall she had missed his voice.

The woman remained silent as she took in his appearance. He had a white shirt on and a black and red checkered shirt over it. His black shoes were dirty and she realized that he had grown a beard.

"Took you long enough", the man said, his mood had definitely lightened up as he stepped inside.

Elenor stood slowly up, straightening her cloths before she met his gaze. "I needed some time to think about us."

The man stopped three steps infront of her, seeming eager to find out why she was here. "And to which result did you come?"

The woman sighed as she stepped forward and placed her hands around his neck, gazing up into his eyes.

"I came to the result that— that I love you and that I can't be without you, Erik. Despite everything that happened in the past."

He softly placed his hands on her hips, pulling her towards him while he carefully leaned his forehead against her's. "I've been going mad without you by my side."

There was a comfortable silence between them before he spoke up again, "I love you, too."
