PUPPY LOVE. . . LITERALLY

Snap!

Yashiro hadn't even noticed that she was gripping her pencil so hard that the tip of its lead snapped and broke, the smudges messing up her work when she tried to erase it. She almost wanted to tear the paper in half. Almost.

A sigh left her lips. Just great. With what's left of her sanity, she placed the pencil down and decided to leave it at that.

I'm stayed here in the classroom so I can finish this assignment. Why can't she finish the assignment? At least I somehow managed to get halfway through.

Just as she was about to stand up and call it a day, the door slammed open. Two figures barged into the room, running straight towards the unguarded girl.

Yashiro yelped when Hanako and Tsukasa tackled her, their small bodies still somehow able to pin her down.

"Oh my God," Yashiro said, staring up at the two puppies who are looking down on her. Literally. Her body was sprawled on the ground and Tsukasa was quick to take advantage of it.

Tsukasa rubbed his nose on her cheek.

"Tsukasa-kun! Don't do that!"

Tsukasa whined, still continuing his actions despite Yashiro's protests. You can never stop Tsukasa when it comes to him bombarding you with affection — it's like he was made to be a puppy of some sort. He's been born to do this.

Yashiro wondered why the twins acted like real puppies even though they can still act like a human. Their bodies just changed, not their pea-sized brains. Is it part of the curse? Or are they just enjoying this?

Tsukasa just wagged his tail and beamed at her. Hanako, who was still beside Yashiro's face, became jealous and snuggled his face onto the nape of her neck.

Ah, right. It's the work of a supernatural, the small curse they placed on the twins because of their rowdiness (completely useless because now they're twice as hyper). Yashiro shook away her thoughts, it's fine. They'll be back on Friday.

They turned into puppies, they said. It'll be fun, they said

Yashiro blew out a breath, relieved when Tsukasa just pawed the ends of her hair. Easily distracted, that Tsukasa. She pat Hanako's soft fur for a moment, then stood up, fixing her uniform.

Alarmed, Hanako bit on her skirt, giving her the puppy eyes. It was basically screaming: are you going home already?

Oh no! Yashiro thought, horrified. Now that they're really puppies, this is twice as effective!

This definitely caught Tsukasa's attention. He perked up and also gave Yashiro those eyes that she now despises. He barked.

Wow, Yashiro deadpanned. They are naturals.

"I have a house to go to, you know?" She told them, sitting back down to meet them at eye-level. "My parents would be worried if I don't come home now. I don't really want that."

Hanako whined, his ear dropping low. He licked Yashiro's nose, short and small. Tsukasa barked cutely and chased his tail.

Yashiro sweat-dropped.

She then sighed and rolled her eyes. Tsukasa and Hanako grinned, their tails wagging excitedly. "Fine, you stupidly adorable dogs. You two are so annoying."

Yashiro went home late that day; extremely tired, covered in dog kisses and fur.

But she enjoyed it nonetheless. Because, really, who wouldn't when two adorable puppies are all affectionate on you?
