CLOSE STARS, CLOSE SOULS. . .
"It's you, it's always you
If I'm ever gonna fall in love, you know it's gonna be you."
it's you : ali gatie
— really short
— not an angst. Kinda. Hehe

Yashiro watched at the corner of her eyes as Hanako made himself comfortable and lied down on the surface, staring at the skies above intently with unhidden interest. She felt herself smile, faintly remembering the encounter of Shjima Mei, and they were on the exact same spot.
There was a cold breeze that past by, making Yashiro shiver, so she decided to make herself cozy by tucking her knees close to her chest and wrapping her arms around it — not the most effective way to keep yourself warm, but it's better than nothing.
Once Hanako's mouth opened, there was no stopping it. He babbled on and on about the stars, the moon, some facts that Yashiro didn't even learn yet; Yashiro didn't mind. She listened to him. His voice is soothing, it was comforting, almost lulling her to sleep, but not enough for her to drift to slumber. That would've been rude.
When Hanako jabbed a finger in the direction of the moon, Yashiro followed his gaze, but what caught her sight piqued her interest.
"Hanako-kun." Hanako hummed in response, his eyes glued back to her. Yashiro tilted her head and studied the star that seemed to shine almost as bright as the North Star. "Hanako-kun, what's that?" Yashiro gestured at the bright pinprick of light that stood out amongst others (except, well, for the North Star and moon itself).
Hanako lifted his body, narrowing his eyes on the star that Yashiro pointed at. "Huh, strange."
Yashiro's eyebrows lifted in surprise. "Why? What star is that?" She asked, genuinely curious. "Do you know it? I've never seen that star before."
Hanako turned back to her, stared for a bit, before breaking into a short chuckle when he saw her wide, persistent eyes. "It's nothing special, Yashiro. Those are just two stars that seem to be very close to each other."
Yashiro breathed out in amazement. "Wow. The two stars are together! They're so bright."
"That's not good," Hanako said, his tone heavy. Yashiro blinked in confusion. It wasn't good that two stars are seen as one? "I hope some sort of stellar collision doesn't happen. It's never good to have two stars orbit so close next to each other."
"Oh," Yashiro said in disappointment. Two stars, shimmering so bright it rivals others. "Maybe that's us. Two bright stars that are so close together that you'd think its a one, big star."
"I won't doubt that by now our souls have intertwined," Hanako chimed in, with a breathy laugh. Yashiro didn't doubt it, too. She could feel that they're so close, their hearts beating at the same beat. Let's hope nothing bad happens because of that.

I like your request, but I don't think I like my own work :/ Thank you for requesting though! This is short but nice.
I don't know much about stars so if I'm wrong about some things, please correct me!
Not going to lie, I almost made this angst when I researched and found horrible stuff about stars colliding, but alas, this is a fluff request, so I must keep my sadistic side down.
Thank you for reading!
