One day in a small town called Hawkins, there is a big lab in the middle of the forest called Hawkins Lab.

Well-built scientist with white hair or commonly known as Dr. Brenner.
He is the director of the Hawkins National Laboratory. This year, he is holding a program where all special and different children are brought together.

Dr. Brenner always monitors the children's daily life. On this bright but gloomy morning the children must be in the rainbow room.

Rainbow room. Floors, walls are all painted with the seven basic colors of the rainbow. What were the kids doing in the rainbow room? They usually play with toys and their own minds.

Two small children aged about five years old were seen playing with a car that passed a rainbow track on the floor. the car moves by their sacred thoughts.

Unlike other children, a child who is growing up is playing a game of chess. If chess is usually played by two people, this child is playing with her mind.

Dr. Brenner smiled up at the girl. "Good morning, Twelve."

The white haired girl looked up.
"H-hi, papa."

Dr. Brenner sat in front of Twelve and picked up one of the roles on the chessboard.

"Why don't you join the others?"

She didn't smile a bit, she was quiet. Then she shook her head.

Dr. Brenner already knew what this great girl was capable of, he asked Twelve.

"Wanna practice today?"

Twelve was silent and did not answer, a few seconds later after thinking she finally nodded. "Yes, papa."

Twelve and her papa were both in a small gloomy room now.

Twelve sat down and Dr. Brenner in front of the girl had a mind detector hooked up to a monitor.

"Ready, Twelve?"

"Ready, Papa."

Twelve closed her eyes. "What should i practice today?"

"Like usual."

Twelve closed her eyes again, this time fully focused.

She exhaled deeply, in her mind she seemed to imagine her spirit walking out of the room and seeing what would happen to her friends tomorrow.

This is her power, seeing the future.

"They... play as usual." Twelve response.

Dr. Brenner nodded.
"Go on, Twelve."

Twelve's shadow walked around looking at her friend who was playing. "Nothing weird."

"It's just practice."

BROUGH!

"HUHHH."

Twelve gasped after seeing the bad events that came to mind. Her breath was panting, her heart beating as fast as a train.

"Twelve? Twelve, are you all right!?"

"P-papa!"

"Get out of there, Twelve!"

"HAH!"

Twelve opened her eyes and took off her mind detector quickly, her face looked terrified and she was held in her arms by Dr. Brenner.

"What do you see?"

Twelve cried out in fear. "They.. died."

"THEY DIE, PAPA!"

Dr. Brenner removed his arms and comforted Twelve.

"Sssttt. Twelve, calm down."
"Maybe it was just a mistake..."

Twelve frowned. "No, papa. It's a real thing!"
"I saw them silent for a moment and then..."

Dr. Brenner is confused and intrigued by her. "And then what?"

Twelve exhaled. "Their heads burst."
"Papa, I've never seen anything like this before..."

Dr. Brenner seemed taken aback by Twelve's words, but then he said.

"Twelve, you still need to train your strength more."

But Twelve was a smart kid, she wasn't easily fooled by the old man. "Why do I have to suffer everyday?"

Dr. Brenner who heard Twelve's words immediately frowned. "What do you mean?"

"I know you always torture me!"

Dr. Brenner smiled wryly.
"It's not torture."
"That is the training before you face death."

"What do you mean... death?" Twelve asked firmly.

Dr. Brenner chuckled instead. "No, honey. It's nothing."
"I mean, everyone will experience death, right?"

Twelve didn't answer, she just looked at her Papa with a suspicious face.

"Okay, you can play again now." Hearing that Twelve quickly stood up and left the training room.

Dr. Brenner looked at Twelve who was no longer in the room, he frowned with a plan in mind. "Her power is so strong."

Meanwhile, Twelve was silent in a corner of the rainbow room. She kept thinking about her scary look earlier.

"Morning, Little girl."

Twelve looked up, it was Ten who greeted her. Ten is a boy who is much older than Twelve who is just a teenager.

"Get lost, Ten." Twelve really doesn't like Ten, because of his nosy nature.

Ten grinned, he sat down next to Twelve. "Why are you always alone?"

"None of your business." Twelve answered a little sarcastically.

"You remind me of someone..."

Twelve turned to Ten with an annoyed face. "Don't tell about her again."

"Bingo! Its, Eleven!!"

Twelve snorted indignantly. "Could you please stop talking about Eleven?"
"I'm so confused you always talk about him--"

"Her."

"Huh, her."
"Right? Why are you always talking about her when she's not here."
"Why isn't she in this fucking Lab like us?" Said Twelve venting all her frustration.

Ten paused and then stood up. "Because she's different."
"Just like you, Twelve."

Ten left Twelve. while this girl just silent, again.

In her mind she thought pondering again. 'There is a point..'

'I think Eleven... she is different..'

It was then that Twelve's strong will emerged. "I have to catch up with her."

Unnoticed by the others, Twelve walked quickly out of the rainbow room. There are three junctions after you exit the rainbow room.

Twelve already knew all the way, she walked to the left.

In the left aisle, she encountered two guards with big gun in their hands.

"What are you doing here, little girl?"

Twelve looked at the two guards with a sharp gaze and her head was slightly bowed.

BROUGH
BRAK

It can be seen that the heads of the two guards were smashed, causing both of them to lose their lives.

Twelve didn't think about that, she quickly took the access card out of the trouser pocket of one of the guards and ran towards the door that she thought was the exit door.

"Huh, huh."

Twelve was so scared, she swiped the card in place. Twelve smiled broadly as the previously red card box turned green.
"Gosh, why didn't i do this earlier."

BEEEEPPP BEEEEPPP

Emergency alarm sounds loud suddenly. "Shit."

"SHE'S THERE!!"

Twelve was surprised when a guard and a bunch of other guards chased after Twelve.

Twelve immediately entered the room and quickly closed the big metal door.
Very strong and big. "HAAAAA!!!!" Twelve shouted trying to close the door with her mind.

But failed, as many as five guards managed to pass through the door.

Twelve panted, she ran again running away from those damn guards.

Twelve was slightly surprised when she realized where she was now. Previously she had thought that the door earlier would lead her out of this Laboratory.

But it didn't, it instead took her in a warehouse but with many big machines that she didn't know about.

"STOP!!!"

BANG

Twelve came to her senses, she ran again from the five guards. "Stop."
"Drop your weapons!"

Twelve turned her head when she heard Dr. Brenner.

Twelve stepped back when Dr. Brenner walked slowly toward Twelve. Not too close to her, Dr. Brenner paused his walk.
"Where are you going, Twelve?"

"None of your business!" Twelve answered determinedly.

Dr. Brenner exhaled. "Come here, little girl. Papa just wants to train you."

Twelve fell silent. She turned her gaze on a large very dark hole.

"No."

Twelve quickly ran towards the big hole.

BANG BANG
BANGG!

"AAAHH!"

Twelve luckily dodged the shots. She then inserted herself in a large hole that could not be passed by an adult.

Meanwhile, dr. Brenner with an angry face just watched from afar.

"Let her."

"AAAAAAAA"

Who would have thought, this hole was so long and dark it made Twelve's heart beat fast.

BROUGH!

"HUH....HAHH"

Twelve finally managed to get out of the hole after so many minutes.

Twelve who was still seated looked around with narrowed eyes.

She stood. "Oh...my...GOD!"

Twelve looked elated, overjoyed when it turned out that the hole had actually led her out in front of the massive Laboratory fence.

Twelve ran from her dreary fake home after years of being locked up and tortured.

I hope you guys remember, the Laboratory is in the MIDDLE of the forest.

So this makes Twelve still have to struggle to get out of this dense forest.

Twelve was getting sleepy, even though it was still noon. Her eyes were slightly closed as she walked so unsteadily.

"Hooaammm."
"I hope some help soon-- Hoaamm."

As if her wish had come true, the corner of her eye fixed on a small brownish house with several steps connecting it to the terrace of the house.

"How can there be a house in the middle of a forest like this?" She said in surprise as she looked around her.

Finally she decided to enter the house or rather like a hut.

KNOCK KNOCK

KNOCK KNOCK

Several times she knocked on the door of the house, but there was no response once.

"Hello? Is anyone there??"

KNOCK KNOCK--

The door opened, opened by a red-haired woman with a headset on her head.

"Sorry, can I help you?"
