Chapter Six
"Where were you?" Jaemin's mom asks, forehead creasing, looking at the two confusedly.
The two are holding each other's hands behind their backs as Jaemin grins at his mom while Jeno's looking down on the floor.
"We were just, uhm, looking for something to eat in the kitchen." Jaemin lies.
"You just had your breakfast, Min-ah." Mrs. Na raises an eyebrow, "You're hungry again?" Jaemin nods, pressing his lips together. "Really?"
"Uh, actually..." Jaemin scratches his head using his free hand. "It was only Jeno who's hungry—ouch!" He yelps because Jeno suddenly hits him using the tip of his elbow.
Mrs. Na notices their hands at the middle that causes Jeno to look away and Jaemin to look around like he's looking for something. She furrows her eyebrows so hard to make sure she's seeing this like the way she thinks it is.
She smirks a bit, looking at his son in a teasing manner. "Aww, you two are holding hands. That's cute!"
Their hands slowly break apart from each other and awkwardly walk to the couch, pretending Jaemin's mom's not there and didn't just call them out. She just laughs.
"Don't let your father sees you." She suddenly informs and turns around. "You can turn the TV on to watch movie."
The two just look at each other and smile.

Jaemin stares at the wall, hand clenching at his side. Jeno notices and grabs his hand, spreads the palm of it so he can intertwine his fingers onto the other's. The younger sighs, his sharp glare at the wall soften by the older's gesture.
They can hear his parents fighting again loudly upstairs. Jaemin could barely hear his own thoughts or even the sound of the now unnoticed movie they're playing in the television.
Jaemin just wants to be swollen by the ground because of embarrassment. He couldn't believe Jeno is here when his parents are fighting. But really, Jeno doesn't mind. Since he already tells the older about it, he doesn't mind and he's willing to understand every situation Jaemin has.
Jaemin gulps and lets go of Jeno's hand. The latter relaxes and looks at Jaemin wholeheartedly. "I think you should go home now."
"Huh?" Jeno raises an eyebrow, "Why?"
"I'm just... I'm embarrassed."
"I don't want to leave just yet, it's too early." Jaemin looks at him. "Is it okay if we go out for a while? So you can have a fresh air. And I don't want you to stress yourself out here. Sounds great, Nana?" Jeno smiles, waiting for Jaemin's reply.
Jaemin nods. "Okay, sounds great."
"Alright, then. Let's go!"
They get up from the couch and Jaemin turns the TV off using the remote control while Jeno waits for him.
After that, they both leave the Na Residence with Jaemin closing the door behind so slowly. Jeno wraps his hand around his boyfriend's waist and Jaemin relaxes at his touch.
"Where do you wanna go?" Jeno asks.
"Anywhere."

It's in the middle of the afternoon and they are in the park. They are sitting on the bench as they watch the random children playing almost in front of them.
Jaemin likes this. The peace of mind. The fresh air. The companion who doesn't judge him at all. He's starting to think maybe Jeno is the home that he's looking for. He smiles at the thought.
"Hey, Nana," Jeno suddenly speaks that made Jaemin a bit startles.
"Mhm?"
"I just think, it's only been like, two days since the first time we've met. But I feel like we've known each other for maybe two years. For almost two days, so much going on with the two of us already, don't you think?"
Jaemin nods. "Yeah. I thought it's been only a week, but it's only two days." He chuckles. "I don't want you to leave yet."
Jeno smiles slightly, "I can just travel here anytime to see you. I can do that."
"You can?"
"Of course. For you, I'd do anything."
They both laughs softly and Jaemin hears another wonderful sound from Jeno. His cute laugh.
"I'm still gonna miss you." Jaemin suddenly says. He rests his head on the older's shoulder.
Jeno nods, "Me too."
