AFTER not being able to go out the whole night Esme decided to come over and keep Aries company. Madison snuck out so aries promised to keep cover for her if their dad returned home earlier. Thankfully when Madison arrived hopper had pulled into the driveway no more than five minutes later.

When Aries woke up for school Madison had already left the house leaving a note on the fridge so her sister wouldn't freak out. Esme and Aries were taking her bikes to school today because they weren't sure if Jonathan was gonna pick them up. Aries walked out of the bathroom stopping to see her father with a toothbrush in his mouth.

"I gotta brush my teeth, then I'm leaving. You need a ride?" Hopper slurred walking past Aries into the bathroom.

"No we're good, we're taking our bikes" Esme smiled appearing from Aries room. Hopper glanced at the girl confused.

"When the hell did you get here?" The Chief asked spitting the toothpaste out his mouth.

"At 7:45 exactly, considering you put my best friend on house arrest I decided to come here instead. Oh and I spent the night" Esme shrugged walking away.

"No shit" hopper scoffed continuing to brush his teeth.

Aries stared at her father waiting for him to be done because she knew he had more to say. "You stay there I'm not done" she smiled at his words nodding.

Once he was finally done he stood up straight putting his hands on his hips. "Tonight you have to be home before it gets dark again" he sighed.

Aries grew visibly annoyed, but before she could say anything she was cut off by her fathers loud voice.

"Hey! No complaining, you heard me that's it. Until Will is found or we know what happened to him you and your sister will be coming straight home" hopper demanded.

Aries crossed her arms rolling her eyes at the man, "thanks dad, that's what every teenage girl wants to hear. But then again we never listen" the girl angrily smiled walking away.

"Aries! I'm serious! I'll arrest you if I see you out late! I swear to god!"

She picked up her bag ignoring her fathers empty threats. It wasn't the first time he threatened to arrest Aries but he never could actually do it because she wasn't breaking the law. Just his annoying rules.

"Yeah let's go" Esme said grabbing a bagel, Aries nodded and the two exited the house letting hoppers voice fade away.

"You really need to learn how to drive" Esme scoffed as the two began to ride off.

Aries gasped in shock and a bit of hurt, "I do know how to drive!" Aries turned her head angrily glancing at Esme.

Esme smiled shrugging, "that's definitely not what Dustin thinks after you hit him with your car!"

"Okay THAT was on purpose he wouldn't shut up!"

Esme and Aries arrived to school just on time, they walked in to see Nancy talking to Jonathan. The two slowly walking up towards Nancy and Jonathan, they eyed the girl curiously. Nancy gently smiled at the two girls continuing to resume her conversation with Jonathan.

Esmes eyes stayed glued on Nancy unsure of her intentions behind talking to Jonathan. Aries was now too glaring down Nancy wheeler making sure she wasn't here with malicious intention. Considering who her boyfriend is and the crowd he's friends with the girls assumed the worst.

Steve Harrington watched as Aries Hopper stood there just inches away from him. He was a bit surprised because he hadn't seen her in so long. He tried not to look for her in the halls but now here she was. Aries hadn't noticed him yet which he was thankful for because he knew she'd give him the nastiest look which he would have to give back in return.

"Hey Steve isn't that the girl that hates your guts because you broke her heart" Tommy H laughed placing his hands on Steve's shoulder.

"Fuck off tommy" Steve groaned shrugging his hands off of his shoulders. He rolled his eyes staring at the boy then back at Aries.

"Ohhh! We should invite her and her friend! Start some drama" carol smirked as tommy nodded in agreement.

Steve quickly turned around shaking his head, "no, no, no! That is a terrible idea! She wouldn't even come she hates parties as much as she hates me" Steve was now flailing his arms around begging his friends to not invite Aries OR Esme.

"Too late" carol smiled walking towards the group while Nancy walked away.

Nancy looked back at carol confused on her approach. Steve had his hands on his face covering his eyes too afraid to see her reaction.

Jonathan, Esme, and Aries watched horrified as Carol Perkins walked towards them. If Nancy didn't give them shit carol definitely was.

"Hi guys!" The red head grinned clasping her hands together.

"Hi?" The three said in unison just as confused as the other.

Carol ignored their questioning look and reached over grabbing Aries hands. Aries eyes bulged out of her head seeing carol grab her.

Esme lifted her hand getting ready to smack carols grimy hands off of Aries but Jonathan caught her hand midway stopping the attack.

"Uh why are you touching me?" Aries nervously chuckled looking at the girl.

Carol smiled but everyone knew that was the fakest smile they'd seen come from someone. "Well doll! I wanted to invite you and your little curly head friend here to a small get together tonight!" Carol said excitedly. "You could uh- bring Jonathan too if you'd like" it was very clear carol did not want to invite Jonathan which only made the group of three grow more uncomfortable.

"Doll?" Jonathan muttered confused.

Esme and Aries glanced at one another then at carol. This wasn't right. "I don't do party's" Aries said pulling her hands away and wiping them on her sides.

Carol kept her composure laughing with no emotion, "Steve said you didn't but it's not a party just gonna be tommy, steve, Enzo, Nancy, and I!"

At the mention of Steve's name Aries eye began to twitch, carol noticed smiling. Aries looked behind her to see Steve staring at them, once he caught her eyes he quickly looked up at the ceiling.

Steve Harrington wanted to rip his own heart in that moment. He didn't care about Aries looking at him he just knew that the next time she saw him she'd definitely try to strangle him.

Aries glared at the boy then switched her glance to carol, "sorry I don't think we can make it" Aries was obviously annoyed and now she wasn't trying to hide it.

Carol sighed heavily nearly rolling her eyes, "well if you decide to come for once and not be so boring just know we'll be at Steve's house" carol plastered the creepiest smile that made Jonathan and Esme wince. "I'm sure you know where that is" carol winked at the girl before walking away back towards her little spawns of the devil friend group.

Aries kept her gaze on Steve Harrington narrowing her eyes at him. She wanted him to see that she was angry.

Just as carol and tommy began to walk away and Nancy and barb followed steve finally looked up looking at Aries in the eyes. And just like he assumed she was murdering him with her eyes. She was definitely slowly and painfully killing him.

He frantically looked away rushing to his group in hopes of not feeling Aries eyes burning into his back. Aries watched them walk away and once she felt good she looked away over at Jonathan and Esme.

"boring? I'm not boring!" Aries said defensively crossing her arms.

Esme and Jonathan shared a glance with one another, "babe it's okay to be boring" Esme reassuringly patted Aries shoulder.

Aries glared at Esme pushing her hand off of her shoulder "Anyways I'm going to ignore that, any news about will?" Aries sighed, the three formed a circle around each other.

Jonathan shook his head holding the missing person papers in his hand up, "no, we're just putting up flyers now" Jonathan mumbled. "Well it was good seeing you guys but I uh- I gotta go" Jonathan fumbled getting his things together preparing to walk off.

"Jonathan, do you want me to go with you?" Esme said watching as Jonathan stared at the ground. He slowly looked up nodding and Esme smiled.

"I'll see you guys later, be safe" Aries said walking away from the two. She knew she should've went with them but she had a test today and she sure as hell was NOT missing it.

After what seemed like a long day Aries was finally done with school, her friends weren't here so it was a rather boring and lonely day. Aries stood at her locker placing some books inside.

"Aries!"

The girl peered over her locker to see Enzo walking over smiling. "Hey" Aries smiled shutting her locker.

He leaned against the locker beside the girl smiling at her, "so I heard you got invited to Steve's tonight, are you coming?" The boy asked.

Aries laughed shaking her head, "god no, to hangout with Steve Harrington and his friends, I'd rather stay home in a burrito and sleep for the rest of the night" Aries shrugged and Enzo chuckled nodding.

"Don't like him much do you?"

Aries nodded crossing her arms, "I mean who does? He's an ass" Aries scoffed.

Enzo nodded in agreement, "the biggest ass in history" Enzo laughed which only made Aries crack a small smile. "Well since you're not going, would you maybe want to come over to my house and we can finally do our study session?" Enzo raised his eyebrows in a questioning look.

Aries smiled nodding, she really hoped this was for studying and studying only, she didn't reciprocate the same feelings Enzo has for her. She simply couldn't see him and her ever working out. But she loved his company.

"I mean- yeah sure, I have nothing else to do so that sounds good to me" aries shrugged and Enzo cheered excitedly.

Aries watched the boy grow more and more excited but her eyes were pulled away when she saw Steve Harrington walking straight towards them.

She quickly looked away trying to listen to what Enzo was saying but her ears were ringing so Loud and her heart was beating so fast it was hard to hear anything Enzo was saying. Maybe he'd just walk past them Aries thought to herself.

Steve wouldn't dare to approach her after years of not talking after what he did to her. Steve stopped right beside Enzo smiling at the boy. Aries eyes were filled with worry as she glanced at Enzo who turned to Steve noticing his presence.

"Hey Enzo can I talk to Aries real quick?" Steve asked which Enzo only nodded obliviously.

"I'll see you later Aries" Enzo patted Steve's shoulder before walking away. Once he was far enough steve tore his gaze from him and onto Aries who was already glaring at him.

"What the hell do you want steve?" Aries eyes were narrowed and her teeth were grinding against one another.

Steve's head perked up hearing her voice and then suddenly the familiarity from the voice of the girl in the bathroom came. It was Aries.

"I come in peace" Steve laughed placing his hands up.

Aries stared dead at him no emotion filled her face, not laughing at his ridiculous attempt to ease the tension.

"Okay not funny, got it" Steve muttered clearing his throat.

"Steve you have five seconds to say something worth me having to look at your ridiculous face and haircut or im walking away" aries was dead serious which only made Steve the more nervous.

He'd ignore the hair and face comment for now because he knew he'd have to get his point across quickly. "Okay, I'm sorry carol came up to you like that. You don't have to come but you're more then welcome too I think it's time we become friends again, right?" Steve asked.

Aries scoffed angrily smiling at him. "Steve I was never going to come anyways so stop being so annoying, and it's definitely not time we become friends again, you may be ready but I am definitely not, nor will I ever be" Aries was rambling frantically trying to get her point across.

Steve Harrington looked at the girl a bit shocked and confused at the sudden outburst, it was normal but he hadn't experienced one in a while. Steve glared down at the girl scoffing, "for once in your life stop being an ass and just listen to what I'm trying to say" Steve begged.

Aries gasped loudly at his words and he rolled his eyes seeing how dramatic she was being.

"You're being dramatic like always" Steve said placing his hands on his hips.

Aries mimicked his motions which only made him roll his eyes once again dropping his hands from his hips. "You do not, get to tell me if I'm being dramatic even after you called me an ass!?" Aries and Steve were now fuming glaring at each other.

"See this is why I can't talk to you! You're literally so annoying Aries, and you wonder why we haven't spoken in years" Steve argued back with the girl already done with conversing with her.

Aries chuckled maniacally which only made Steve grow more frustrated, "you and I both know exactly why we aren't talking anymore so no I don't wonder why we haven't spoken in years, but what I'm wondering now is why all of a sudden are you talking to me?" Aries voice was cold and stern, she wanted Steve to know she wasn't taking his shit. "You've had two years to come up and tell me that we should brush this under the rug! Two years to apologize but right after your friend comes up to me inviting me to a random party you wanna talk? Seems a little sketchy to me Steve." Aries nodded her head trying to see if he'd agree to what she was saying so she could prove that there was no good intent behind inviting Aries to a party.

Steve rolled his eyes shrugging, "I don't even know what I'm apologizing for!" Steve exclaimed.

"Sure you don't... keep saying that" Aries scoffed.

"You know what this is ridiculous just never mind let's just continue the rest of our lives hating each other over something that apparently happened two years ago" Steve scoffed walking away.

Aries quickly turned around watching him rush off angrily. She could tell he was angry just by the way he as carrying himself. She rolled her eyes groaning walking the opposite direction from Steve Harrington.

Was she the one that started being mean first? Yes. But Steve deserved it, he knew how bad he hurt her and still decided to talk to her like nothing happened.

They were never going in the same paths even if they tried, they were always and would always be two worlds apart no matter how hard either of them tried.
