IT was a normal day for Aries Hopper. She was walking around the kitchen preparing breakfast for her sister and herself, while her dad lied drunk on the couch. It was a normal routine for the girls considering they hardly interacted with their father.

"Madison hurry up we gotta go!" Aries yelled out looking over at her sisters room. Aries began to bounce her leg rapidly in fear of arriving to school late.

Within five minutes madison appeared smiling showing off her hair. "This took a lot of time and dedication" the girl groaned noticing her sisters unfazed look.

"It's looks great now let's go we can't eat breakfast so I made you a pbj sandwich" Aries said tossing the sandwich that was in a ziplock towards her sister.

"I hate pbj" Madison groaned grabbing her

"Well if you woke up earlier like I told you, you could have had this amazing breakfast I cooked" Aries smile to herself as she quickly wrote a note down on the pancakes.

'hey dad we're off to school, I made pancakes, help yourself'

"No thanks, it probably taste like shit anyways" Madison shrugged walking out the door.

Aries quickly stood up straight glaring at the back of her sisters head. "mean" the girl mumbled grabbing her bag tossing it over her shoulder and rushing outside.

"Where's Jonathan and Will?" Madison asked looking back at her sister.

Aries eyes furrowed seeing Jonathan no where in sight. She looked down at her watch to see it was 7:30 the time Jonathan always arrived. He was never late.

"That's weird... let's give him to 7:40 if not we can take my car" Aries said pulling her keys out her pocket.

"No please we'll never make it to school we'll both die!" Madison complained.

Aries rolled her eyes at her sister but still smiled because she knew she was right. "I'm not that bad of a driver cmon mads" Aries shrugged nudging her sisters shoulder.

"You're the worse driver to ever exist, and esme is a person that exist so you should be ashamed" madison said as Aries gasped.

Esme was a HORRIBLE driver, was she really that bad?

Before the two could continue the conversation Jonathan's car approached.

"Finally" Aries scoffed rushing towards the boys car. She quickly got into the front seat to see esme already in the back.

"What took you so long?" Aries complained.

Madison got in sliding next to esme seeing the empty spot that belonged to Will.

"Where's will?" Madison asked shortly after Aries.

Esme sighed looking between the girls, "well that's why he's late" everyone turned towards Esme as Jonathan began to drive.

"Madison was Will with you guys at Mikes last night?" Jonathan asked.

Aries furrowed her eyebrows staring over at Jonathan then her little sister.

"Yeah he was we were playing D&D" Madison answered confused.

"Did you see him leave?"

The questions were getting ever more bizarre.

"Jonathan what's going on?" Aries asked confused.

"Madison did you see him or did you not?" Jonathan asked again ignoring Aries.

"Yeah we did, he rode off with Dustin" Madison answered.

Jonathan sighed nodding, Aries eyes were burning into the side of his head. He noticed her stare and quickly looked at her then back at the rode.

"Are you gonna tell them or should I?" Esme asked sitting forward putting her hands on the back of Jonathan's seat.

"I don't know maybe I'm overthinking, it's just we thought Will didn't come home last night maybe he just went to school early" Jonathan sighed.

"We don't take the bikes on Wednesday with the boys, we get a ride" Madison said realizing it was Wednesday.

On Wednesdays the two never rode their bikes with Mike, Lucas, and Dustin. They took a chance to get a rid to school one day out of the week.

"Well maybe he wanted to ride with them today is that a possibility?" Jonathan asked.

Madison began to think and shrugged, "I mean yeah but he would've walkie me, maybe he forgot" Madison said not only trying to convince herself but Jonathan.

Jonathan nodded and Aries noticed the same look of worry was plastered on his face. No matter what madison said he was still anxious.

The car stopped and Aries snapped out of her daydream seeing they were at the middle school. Mike, Lucas, and Dustin were waiting where they usually wait for Will and Madison.

"Bye guys! Thank you Jonathan I'll see if wills here!" Madison waved getting out the car.

Aries smiled seeing the boys swarm the girl as she pushed past them and they followed behind her. She quickly turned staring over at Jonathan watching him drive off.

The middle school was only a couple feet away from the high school so they didn't mind dropping their siblings off in the morning.

"Jonathan are you sure Wills okay? You seem worried" Esme spoke up sitting forwards looking over at Jonathan.

His eyes stayed on the parking lot trying to find a place to park refusing to make eye contact with any of his friends. Truth was he was tremendously worried but didn't want to tell them because then they'd freak out which would make him freak out even more.

"Yeah I just hope he's safe, will's a smart kid maybe he just y'know wanted an early head start" Jonathan shrugged.

Jonathan seemed to convince Esme that he wasn't worried, she nodded sitting back staring out the window. Aries knew Jonathan was lying and didn't want to say anything so she decided not to bring it up. He told them everything so he obviously wasn't telling them for a good reason, she had to trust that reason was good enough for him to stay silent.

Once the three pulled up in the parking spot aries was the first to throw herself out of the car. One thing about Aries Hopper is that she takes school VERY seriously. She hates being late and turning in work late. You will almost NEVER catch Aries Hopper walking into class late or handing in an assignment late.

The only time she was ever late was when Jonathan's car broke down on their way to school and she cried for two hours straight as Jonathan and Esme tried to console her. But besides that the girl has never been late, never even turned in homework late.

In Esme's words Aries Hopper was a control freak and miss perfectionist.

Aries took long strides as she made her way to the front of the school. Jonathan and Esme walked at their normal pace watching Aries disappear into the school. They were already use to her rushing ahead to get to class on time.

As Aries walked towards her locker she froze seeing Dakota and Ayriela standing oddly close like they wanted to kiss. But they knew better. Especially in a town like Hawkins that was filled with ill intent. Ayriela and Aries never really got along, for as long as she's known Esme, her sister hated her. She never really knew why but began to grow resentment towards the other Lana twin.

One thing about Aries Hopper is that if something is bothering her she will almost always say something. If she didn't then... you should be concerned.

Aries quickly shoved her way in between the two pulling them apart. She smiled seeing the shocked and angry looks plastered on their faces.

"Aries what the hell?!" Ayri snapped glaring at the girl.

"Maybe next time try NOT to look like you're about to suck each others faces off in front of my locker" Aries scoffed looking away from the two putting in her passcode.

Ayri continued glaring at the girl trying to think of something smart to say. Dakota noticed and roller her eyes grabbing ayris wrist. "Sorry aries we didn't notice it was your locker, we'll try harder to remember" Dakota smiled politely.

Aries watched as the two walked off standing shoulder to shoulder. No one knew of Ayri and Dakota dating but their friends. There were whispers of course about them being together but nothing confirmed no evidence and everyone that knew didn't say anything.

Aries quickly pulled the books she needed out her locker and nearly slammed her locker shut.

Just as she closed it a face popped up besides her and she gasped startled by the sudden person. Esme smiled teasingly knowing she scared Aries. "Did my beautiful face scare you?" Esme smirked as Aries rolled her eyes walking away.

Esme followed behind her continuing to talk to Aries even after she got zero response from her remark earlier. "Somethings up with our Johnny boy isn't there?" Esme asked looking behind them to see Jonathan at his locker.

Aries nodded picking up her pace looking at the clock, class started in two minutes. "Oh most definitely, but if he doesn't want to tell us we can't force him" Aries said glancing over at Esme.

Esme scoffed rolling her eyes, "why not? We can tie him to a chair and torture it out of him!" Esme squeezed her fist tightly holding it out in front of her.

Aries side eyed the girl cracking a smile, "we won't be doing that because Jonathan happens to be our best friend. I don't think he'd want to be friends with us after we torture him" Aries said as Esme crossed her arms shrugging.

"You're right he'd hate us" Esme groaned.

Aries stopped in front of her class making Esme come to a hault, "I'll see you after class?" Aries asked. Esme nodded placing two fingers on her forehead then pulling them away as she walked backwards. "Bon voyage my dear friend" with a final bow Esme turned around rushing off. Just by the way she stumbled off Aries could tell Esme already had her daily morning smoke. Or as Esme would like to call it 'her shot of espresso for the morning.'

Aries smiled walking into her classroom sitting down at her usual seat. She hated the first four periods because she had no friends in those classes. The second bell had yet to ring, the girl dropped her bag walking towards the front of the class.

"Mr.Howard may I please run to the bathroom real quick?" Aries asked, the man smiled seeing Aries and gently nodded without saying a word.

She smiled rushing off, she hated using the school rest rooms but when days like her period came she was forced to. Just as the girl was about to open the rest room door it flew open and she bumped into someone.

"Oh I'm so sorry!" Aries apologized, she looked up seeing Nancy wheeler. Nancy flattened her outfit laughing as she smiled at Aries.

"It's not problem I was rushing" Nancy smiled before walking past Aries. Aries watched as the girl walked off she seemed nervous. She let go of it walking into the rest room. Just as the girl entered her eyes landed on a boy bent over picking up his bag.

"Ew perv this is the girls restroom you creep" she scoffed shoving past him making him drop his bag.

"Wow, thank you, thank you so much for that" he scoffed staring at the back of the girls head. Aries rolled her eyes nearly gagging at the sight of a boy in the restroom.

"Can you get out i need to use the bathroom" Aries finally turned crossing her arms. Her eyes widened seeing Steve Harrington bending down to pick up his books.

"Yeah i was about to when-"

Before steve could finish his sentence Aries threw herself into the stall slamming it to hard the door swung back open.

"Stupid doors!" Aries groaned pushing herself against the door keeping it shut.

Steve watched curiously as a random girl had a canary in the bathroom. He inched closer to the stall realizing the voice sounded familiar.

"Uh are you okay?" Steve asked staring at the crème door. He was mainly speaking because he wanted the girl to talk more to see if he'd recognize the voice.

"I'm fine! Just leave you weirdo!" Aries yelled glaring at the door wishing she could kill steve harrington just with a look.

Steve narrowed his eyes still unfamiliar with such a familiar voice.

"What are you still doing here?! Leave! I have pepper spray and I will use it!" Aries yelled threatening the boy. She wasn't lying, she will use it.

Steve jolted back from the door hearing her threat, he quickly picked up his back scoffing at the random girl. "I'm leaving chill out no need to go all crazy" steve snapped walking out.

"Asshole!" Aries yelled hearing the door slam shut. After a few seconds of silence the girl exhaled a breathe she didn't even notice she was holding.

"holy shit"

Esme and Aries found out Jonathan left school early around fourth period. He left a not saying will was missing and he was worried shitless. That's when the girls knew that will was in fact in trouble. And it was way more serious then they'd imagined. The rest of the school day the girls were anxious to just get out of school.

It was second to last period and here aries was in math waiting for her math partner to arrive. Aries smiled seeing Enzo walk in with his bag on his shoulder. He slid into the seat besides her keeping his eyes on the side of the girls face as he pulled out his notebook. Aries looked straight ahead trying not to turn to look over at him.

"So are we studying tonight? Big chem test this week?" Enzo whispered as the teacher began to speak. Aries shrugged still keeping her eyes straight ahead.

"Not sure, do you really need the extra tutoring? Your grades seem perfectly fine to me" Aries smiled hearing a soft laugh come from Enzo.

"I don't understand this lesson, if I want to pass I need extra tutoring" Enzo said leaning on the table his eyes still glued on Aries.

Aries rolled her eyes finally looking his way, "fine, I'll be there at 8 and I'm leaving no later then 10 this time" Aries said sternly as Enzo nodded smiling.

"It's a date then" Enzo grinned.

Aries quickly looked away trying her hardest to not smile, "absolutely not, I don't date the students i tutor" Aries mumbled.

Enzo smiled turning away to pay attention to the class he was extremely good at. Aries knew Enzo was most likely better at her in this class but didn't mind spending extra time with him.

she enjoyed the occasional hangouts considering she didn't have much friends, it was nice to talk to a new face.

It started at the beginning of the year when she began to tutor him in history, and now he wouldn't leave her alone. They've hung around one another plenty of times before that but Aries never put much effort into trying to hangout with him. It was very obvious Enzo liked her and she knew that but continued to play oblivious not wanting to ruin the friendship they'd built over the years.

Once class was over Aries stayed outside waiting for Esme and Ayri to pull up. Her eyes scanned the lot searching for the familiar car. The three were supposed to stop by Jonathans to check in on him. Her face turned pale seeing her fathers cop car pull up. They'd hardly spoken in the past week.

She rolled her eyes walking towards the car and getting in, it was then she noticed Madison angrily looking down sitting in the back.

"Why are you here?" Aries asked throwing her bag in the back besides Madison and getting into the front.

"I'm your father, am I not allowed to pick up my kids from school?" Hopper asked starting to drive away.

"He's worried since will went missing and wants us to stay home so he's policing us like we're one of his prisoners" Madison scoffed.

Aries quickly turned her head towards her father glaring at him. "What? What does she mean we can't leave the house? I'm supposed to go to Jonathan's today" aries snapped.

Hopper sighed growing irritated he already heard the whole scpheel from Madison he did not want to hear it from aries.

"I have a life dad! Jonathan is my best friend I'm not gonna stay home while his little brother is missing! I'm gonna help him, I have to help him" aries rambled.

"I'll check in with Jonathan and make sure everything is good, okay!" Hopper yelled.

Aries rolled her eyes looking out the window, "this is so not fair, I should be with him not locked up in the house! I have plans tonight too! I have to study with my math partner" aries continued to ramble not accepting the defeat.

It wasn't fair, hopper was barely around and now he wanted to play dad. Aries was the one holding the house down, taking care of Madison, making sure she went to school and ate dinner.

"Oh my god you guys are an absolute headache the both of you! I don't care what you have to do tonight either of you! You can play your stupid board game with your friends another night Madison and you can go to Jonathan's and study with your math partner another time aries! Am I making myself clear!" This time his yell was louder. Loud enough for both girls to glare daggers at him but stay quiet.

"I'm so sneaking out tonight" Madison mumbled.

Hopper stopped the car suddenly making both girls jolt forward. He turned around pointing harshly at Madison, "listen little one, i don't care how much you guys hate me right now, I'm setting these rule to protect you, you are my daughters and I won't risk anything while one of your friends is missing, am I clear?" Hopper wasn't yelling anymore his voice was low and demanding.

That's how both of them knew he was being far more serious. Madison glanced at Aries who simply nodded at her younger sister.

"Squeaky clear" Madison groaned sitting back in her seat. Hopper quickly turned towards Aries who was staring blankly at him.

"Fine" the girl muttered.

Hopper stared between the two nodding slowly to himself. "Good" he said calmly beginning to drive again.

He knew they were gonna sneak out no matter what he said, so now he was just waiting to catch them.
