As I open the door it creaked I sigh as I look around the floorboards creaking as I walk to this Halloween decoration "Hi. I'm Percy. It's nice to meet you." I look down as it just sat there

"I was told a quest isn't a quest until you've said so? Which is weird considering your a Halloween decoration." The body gasps weakly "oh geez" I mutter "you seem busy. I'll come back" I say before trying to walk away but the oracle breathes raspingly I stop and look back before green mist comes out of the body's mouth.

It turns into gabe I scoffed "come on, really?"

"You shall go west and face the god who has turned. And you shall find what was stolen and see it safely returned." Gabe or well the oracle said before all the green mist fades away.

"The oracle has confirmed what we expected, that this quest will proceed toward the underworld,Where you will confront the god who has rebelled against his brothers. Hades the entrance to Hades domain lies under the city of Los Angeles. This is where you will journey to. Time is short" Chiron state to Percy

"I have selected out most compelling candidates,from which you will choose three to join you on this quest and ensure that we succeed-" Chiron soon got cut off by Percy "annabeth" Percy said looking at the girl who eyes went wide

"Customarily, one waits to at least hear a name or two before choosing. Are you sure you don't wanna hear more" Chiron Tried to explain "This thing, Zeus's master bolt, we need to get it back, right?" Percy looked at Chiron "yes" Percy quickly glanced at Michelle looking at her hurt face but she quickly covered it up "And it's gonna be hard to get, yes?" Percy said once more

"Extraordinarily" Chiron responds "And if the mission required someone to push me down a flight of stairs for it to succeed... you'd want someone who won't hesitate when they do it." Percy stated as Chirons facial expression relaxed "the first quest-mate shall be Annabeth chase!" Chiron said as he look at the girl who smiled softly "Now, on to the other candidates." Percy quickly cut him off "michelle" Percy looked at Chiron who just nodded "the second quest-mate shall be Michelle chase"

As Grover scoops poop horses neigh in the distance Grover goans "Dude, what have you been eating" the horse snorts "Whoa! Wait, hey I'm not trying to antagonize you. I'm just genuinely curious" Grover said trying to apologize to the horse.

Grover picks up the bucket and sits it aside "Hey" Percy said before Grover looked back "Hey. Sorry I missed your selection ceremony.. I've been, you know.... Shoveling his poop" Grover said the last part kinda awkwardly

Percy looked down "yea, I'm sorry about that. I guess Mr.D wasn't too happy you told me about my mom?" Grover walked back "no. No, he was not. So who'd you choose to go with you?" Grover said looking at the blonde boy whose eye looked at the ground "you" Percy said looking at Grover "funny. No seriously, who'd you choose?" Grover questioned as Percy shifted "I chose you" Percy squinted his eyes "why" Grover said looking at Percy

"I trust you An- and, right now nothing's more important than that" Percy finally said looking at Grover "I'm gonna pack the best snacks" Grover exclaimed.

As Michelle packed her bags she looked at Aphrodite gift before Clarisse busted through the door "Michelle you owe me another spear your little boy toy broke mine" Clarisse said as she walked over to the brown haired girl Clarisse snatched the gift away from Michelle's hand making Michelle stand up

"Give it back?!" Michelle yelled at Clarisse "who are you talking too I'll snap your gift don't fucking try me." Clarisse warned

Done with Clarisses bullshit Michelle smacked Clarisse on the cheek. Clarisse shrieked before punching Michelle in the gut.

As Luke left out of Percy's cabin . Percy heard screaming he quickly ran to Michelle cabin as Percy opened the cabin he saw Clarisse getting thrown to the wall with Michelle eyes pink they quickly turned back to their normal color

Clarisse ran into Percy while she was running out "this isn't over" Clarisse warned Michelle

"You okay" Percy ran up to Michelle who had blood trickling down her lip and a snatch on her head "I'm fine"

As Michelle watched Percy help her clean her wounds she looked at all of his features.

His freckles, his eyes, and she learned that his hair was not just blonde it was a dirty blonde.

They made eye contact as he cleaned the cut on Michelle's lip.

Percy cleared his throat "I-i got some flying shoes from Luke her names Maria" Michelle hissed at the burning sensation "Percy" Michelle looked into his eyes.

"I packed all my stuff u-um did you finish" Michelle asked as Percy finally got done

"Yea" Percy responded

Annabeth cleared her throat being jealous as she saw the pair holding eye contact.

They quickly snapped their heads to her "oh you should go" Michelle quickly said getting up looking at Percy he only nodded before leaving

"What's with you and Percy" annabeth's tone was hinted with a little bit of jealousy

"Nothing just friends why" Michelle said looking up from her bag to annabeth

"Do you think we'll die on this quest?" Michelle quietly questioned

"To be honest I don't know" annabeth said

"They're really gonna miss that tree, huh" Percy asked as Michelle and annabeth payed their respects to the tree

"When annabeth and Michelle arrived her with Thalia and Luke, they were being chased by monsters. Agents of Hades. Sisters." Grover said before looking at Percy . Percy looked at the tree "furies. Mrs.Dodds?" Percy quickly questioned Grover "yes! One was our algebra teacher. Alecto. Thalia turned back to fight to buy her friends some time. Her Saytr protector tried to stop her but she wouldn't listen." Grover explained

"So, at the last moment.. Zeus intervened to save her life and changed her form" Grover finished before Percy looked at him confused "the most powerful being in the universes best idea to save his daughters life was to turn her into a tree?"percy questioned

"She was the bravest demigod I ever knew" Annabeth said looking at Percy "she fought valiantly and she met a hero's fate" Michelle said to Percy

"She met a pinecones fate." Percy said looking at Michelle who eyes shut in his stupid comment

"Forbidden children are always in danger even the strongest ones, even Thalia. And you are not Thalia" annabeth said the last part harshly

"Annabeth!" Michelle scolded the girl

"Do exactly as I say and maybe you survive this are we clear." Annabeth ignored Michelle as she walked away

"Does she think she's in charge" Percy said

"Who'd you think would be in charge?" Grover said as the three followed annabeth

"I guess I assumed we'd do a show of hands or something" Percy said.

Michelle stayed quiet

As they were in the cab Percy felt something on his shoulder he quickly looked over to see Michelle asleep. He smiled at the girls appearance

"Wake up"Percy said for the last time before actually waking Michelle up "fine" Michelle muttered she quickly got out of the cab.

The group quickly got on the bus heading towards the back "alright Michelle you sit by me" annabeth said "hey what if I wanted to seat next to her" Percy said

"Fine Michelle which one of us do you want to seat by" annabeth said

Michelle looked uncomfortable "um will you will talk to me and let me lay on your shoulder"

Annabeth glanced at Michelle "No" Percy eyes looked at Michelle "yes!" Percy's eyes lift up

"I'm sorry annabeth but Percy won" Michelle said

As the toilet flushes a man comes out coughing the bus smelt like ass

"There is no way this is what scared smells like" Percy said looking at Grover and annabeth

"We're soldiers on a mission it's not a vacation" annabeth told Percy. Percy rolled his eyes "thank you for clearing that up. But if this is so important, why didn't Chiron spring for plane tickets this seems kind of low priority doesn't it?" Percy questioned before Michelle looked at him like he was stupid before realizing he actually didn't know

"Sorry, I assumed someone had told you." Michelle said frowning a bit

Percy looked at Michelle confused "tell me what"

"Percy, it isn't just the monsters who are gonna be trying to stop us. You're a forbidden child. Zeus might decide to take a shot at you himself. The sky is his domain." Michelle said

"We'd be serving you up on a sliver platter to try to travel through it." Grover finished

Percy looked straight ahead "yeah, no one mentioned that.

The bus came to a stop.
