world records and work wreckers!

Adelaide and Ally were at the mall, walking up to the table that Austin and Dez were sitting at, and were reading a book? This made them both share a look of confusion. "Are we dreaming, or are you guys reading a book?"

"Now, this is new." Adelaide mumbled and rested her hand on the back on Austin's chair. The boys looked up at the twins with a smile, before Austin gestured to the book, explaining. "It's the book of world records. Me and Dez are gonna set a world record."

Dez looked back down at the book as he searched for one that they could do together. "How about the world's longest fingernails?"

"Nah." Austin declined, while shaking his head at him before reminding his friend. "How could we ever go bowling?" Dez pursed his lips and nodded his head when he realised. Austin looked down at the book, letting out a gasp when he had pointed another one out. "Oh, here's one! Keeping your eyes open without blinking."

"Ooh, time me!" Dez nudged him in the arm and stood up, with Austin following him, now holding a stopwatch in his hand. Dez moved over to stand on the other side of the table before widening his eyes โ€” starting the challenge.

"Heyโ€”" Trish walked up to her friends, as Austin and Adelaide surrounded Dez. Austin quickly cut her off, shushing her so she wasn't distracting the redhead. "Dez is trying to set the record for not blinking. Nobody bother him for thirty hours and twelve minutes."

"I can't go on! I give up!" Dez cried, continuing to try his hardest to not blink. Adelaide moved over to stand in front of him, placing her hands on his shoulders. "You can do it, buddy! Come on!" She cheered, trying to encourage him.

"I can't do it, Addy!" Dez shook his head. His eyes managed to remain open for a few more seconds before he finally gave up, putting his face in his hands when he blinked. "Ahhh!" The boy let out, and pulled his hands away from his face, looking back at Austin. "How long was that?"

"Eight seconds." He answered, making Dez wince in disappointment.

Trish glanced over to the side, and smirked when she noticed what Ally was doing. "I think Ally has a shot at the not blinking record." She gestured to the Dawson girl, and the other three followed her gaze to see Ally staring at Dallas, until her sister waved her hand in front of her face, snapping her out of it.

"Staring at Dallas, what?" Ally let out the last part in a high-pitched voice, which was a normal thing for her to do whenever she was lying. She crossed her arms over her chest and rolled her eyes at the group, obviously trying to act natural. "No, that's ridiculous."

Trish scoffed at her, gesturing to the boy stood on the other side of the mall. "Just go talk to him."

"It's not that easy." Ally waved off her advice, and moved over to sit down.

"Sure it is." Dez disagreed with her, before letting out in a falsetto voice. "Hey Dallas!" Quickly, Dez, Austin, Adelaide and Trish hid their faces, just as Dallas turned his head in their direction and saw Ally looking at him. She plastered a smile on her face, feigning a chuckle as Adelaide had grabbed her arm and moved it around to make it look like Ally was waving at him.

Dallas returned her wave before looking away, so Ally jumped out of her seat and turned to face her friends, concluding. "And apparently, I'm gonna talk to him." The boys smiled, motioning for her to go over to Dallas. "Hey, Dallas." She said once she finally reached him. "Did you see that crazy story on the news?"

"What story?" Dallas asked.

"Uh, which one were you talking about?" The girl responded nervously, causing Dallas to give her a confused look before he reminded her. "I wasn't, you brought it up."

"I know, right?" She laughed nervously, speaking in a high-pitched voice once again. "Well, great talking to you." Ally turned to make a quick exit, but, he stopped her beforehand. "Wait, Ally. I've been wanting to come by the store and say hi, I justโ€” I haven't had time. After work, I always have chores. Like today, I have to mow my lawn." He rolled his eyes and huffed. "It's the worst."

Without thinking, she volunteered for him. "I can mow your lawn for you!" Ally carried on through her nervous chuckles, as she wondered why those words came out of her mouth. "Why would I say that?"

Dallas didn't hear what she said last, as he looked at her surprised. "Really? You'd mow my lawn for me?"

"Yep. That's what I heard myself say." She smiled awkwardly, though Dallas didn't notice it.

"Thanks!" He replied, before the two turned away from each other, and Ally walked back over to her friends.

"Sooo, how'd it go?" Adelaide teased, sending her sister a wink.

"Great." Ally answered with a chuckle, before the smile dropped from her face. "Can anybody teach me how to mow a lawn?"

"There's no time for that, Ally." Dez walked up to his friends, pushing his way through to stand in between the twins, holding a drink. "I'm about to set the record for the world's biggest brain freeze."

As the boy started to sip from his iced cold drink, Austin chuckled, shaking his head as he informed him. "Um, Dez? There's no record for that." Once Dez finally stopped, he pouted. "Aw, man. Well, it's not working anyways soโ€”" He screamed all of a sudden when he had finally felt the brain freeze come through.

โˆ˜โ‚Šโœงโ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โœงโ‚Šโˆ˜

"I can't believe you mowed every lawn on Dallas' block." Trish said, as she followed the twins into Sonic Boom, which was currently surrounded by storage boxes.

Ally walked behind the counter โ€” the girl looking like she had just been rolling around in grass, due to what she's done for Dallas. "After I mowed his lawn, it just looked so much better than all the other lawns. I felt bad for them."

"Well, when you say it like that, it makes so much sense." Trish commented sarcastically, sharing a chuckle with Adelaide before looking behind her, noticing the storage boxes. "What's all this stuff?"

The twins followed her as she headed over to that area to get a better look. "That's our inventory for the entire year." Adelaide explained to her. "Our dad orders everything at once so he can save, like four dollars."

Lester Dawson popped up from behind the boxes with a guitar in his hand. "$4.36." He corrected his daughter, as he walked out from behind there to leave, but stopped. "Ooh, girls." Their father turned around to face them. "I need you to carry these boxes upstairs for me. You know I have a bad back."

At his instruction, Adelaide and Ally both looked unsure about what he wants them to do, because after seeing the amount of boxes that were in the store, it seemed like more than a 2-person job, so they followed him. "There's a lot of boxes. Can we maybe hire someone to help?" Ally asked.

"I'm in between jobs right now." Trish mentioned to the three Dawson's who turned to her. "I'd love to work here." She offered to help. But, as much as they loved her dearly, the De La Rosa girl was terrible at working.

"I don't think so." "Absolutely not." The girls and Lester responded with a refusal at the same time, making Trish look at them offended. "Why not? I'd be a great employee."

Does she realise what she's saying? Ally let out a sigh, walking away from her friend. "Trish, you've had 30 jobs in the last month. You've never even kept a job for three days."

Trish scoffed, and placed her hand over her heart to show the girls offence. "That hurts. I worked at the calendar store for almost a week. And I know, because it was a calendar store." She smirked, as if she was proving them wrong.

Adelaide pursed her lips. "It wasn't a week. It was a weekend." She corrected her, holding one of the boxes in her arms as Ally nodded. "And we knew because you called in sick and I filled in for you for both days."

Adelaide and Ally began making their way over to carry the boxes upstairs, but their father stopped them both by the counter. "Girls, we can't afford to hire Trish. We can't afford to hire anyone. It's just me and you two." Lester told them, before he remembered something. "Actually, it's just you two. It's free sample time at the food court. Hee!" He left the twins in charge, before running out of the store in excitement.

As he left, Austin and Dez entered, focused on the basketballs that were spinning on their fingers at that moment. "Check it out." Austin gained their attention. "Me and Dez are gonna set the world record for spinning a basketball on our finger."

"The old record is 22 hours and 12 minutes." Dez stated. "We are going to demolish it!" He grinned before him and Austin did their handshake.

"Which one of you doofs is gonna set the record?"

Austin chuckled in confusion, not knowing what Trish meant. "What do you mean?"

Adelaide tilted her head. "There can only be one record holder, blondie."

"Probably me." Austin shrugged. He looked at the ball that he was still spinning on his finger with a smug smile. "I'm getting pretty good at this."

"It'sโ€”" Dez cringed in disagreement. "gonna take a lot more than pretty good to beatโ€” very, pretty good."

Austin and Dez moved so they were now standing face to face. "Oh, it's on!" They yelled at the same time, as they both looked determined to complete the record, but unfortunately for them, ended up dropping both of their basketballs a second later.

"Okay. It'll be on later." The singer declared in an awkward manner, before him and Dez picked up their basketballs off the floor and walked away.

Adelaide and Ally had put their boxes on the floor for the time being, and Adelaide stood with Trish at the counter, when they spotted Dallas coming in.

The Dawson girl instantly squealed, as Trish took the responsibility of warning Ally. "Psst." She let out, making Ally look her way before she noticed Dallas behind her, and she quickly tried to clean herself up slightly.

"Hey, Ally." Dallas approached the girl. "I wanted to thank you for mowing my lawn."

"You don't have to thank me." Ally waved it off as if it was no big deal. "I was already mowing in the neighbourhood."

Adelaide nodded her head, leaning closer to them to interject. "Yeah, Wednesday's is Ally's mowing day." Seeing the look she was receiving from Ally, Adelaide pursed her lips and backed away. Got it. Just making it more awkward. Adelaide turned around and rolled over the counter, dropping out of sight, earning strange looks from her friends.

"Well, I gotta get back to work." Dallas said. "My boss only gives me a five minute break."

"You think your job stinks?" Ally scoffed, looking behind her as she gestured to the boxes that were there. "You should work here."

"Yeah, I'll see you later, Ally." Dallas said, before heading towards the doors. He stopped before he could exit the store as Ally pointed to him. "Not if your eyes are closed!" She started laughing at her lame joke, receiving a baffled look from her crush before he finally left the store. Ally slowly walked over to the counter, standing by Trish as Austin pulled Adelaide off the ground. "Why am I still laughing?"

"Not sure." Austin responded, dragging Adelaide over to stand with him and Dez. "There's nothing funny about what just happened between you and Dallas."

โˆ˜โ‚Šโœงโ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โœงโ‚Šโˆ˜

"Come on, Adds, can I pleaseee hear a song out of your book?" Austin put on the puppy-dog eyes as he followed Adelaide up to the practice room. She swung around to face him, and continued on her way โ€” walking backwards this time. "No! I'm not ready yet." Adelaide answered him, before facing forward again as she was approaching the door to the practice room. "Now, stop following me like a lost little puppy!"

"Aw, man." He pouted like a five-year old child as Adelaide opened the door and they happened to walk in on Dez sat down, lifting a mini dumbbell with his finger, counting the reps out loud. "...93, 94..."

Austin sat down on the stool next to the desk that Dez was at. "What are you doing?" He wondered, questioning his friend's actions.

Dez looked over to Austin and Adelaide, who was standing behind the blonde with a confused look on her face. "Strengthening my muscles so I can crush the basketball spinning record." The Wade boy explained to them, before he carried on with the exercise. "Feel the burn, feel the burn!" He let out a groan once he finally let the mini dumbbell drop and he pulled his finger away.

Austin scoffed at the redhead. "Am I supposed to be impressed? This morning, I finger-walked 3 miles." He told him as if he was bragging, before demonstrating the task by finger-walking across the table.

"Well, I went finger..." Dez trailed off while trying to come up with something else, that proved he was doing the most work and was more prepared than him. "finger bungee jumping." He showed an example by pushing his fingers off of a CD stack and onto the table, before reeling them back up onto the stack.

Adelaide looked between the boys, totally baffled by what was going on, before she stepped back at seeing Austin standing up from his seat, scoffing under his breath. "Well, can you spin a 16 pound cinder block" He said as he made his way over to pick up the object that was by the door. "on your finger?"

"Ok, none of this is impressive." Adelaide pointed out before looking back at Austin again, watching the cinder block spin on his finger. "Well, maybe that is." She pointed to what he was doing, and a smile appeared on the blonde's face at Adelaide's comment.

Dez visibly showed his disagreement by laughing in his face. "Oh, you amateur." He was now stood in front of him. "Spinning something heavy won't help you. The key is to spin something light and delicate. That's why I brought all my mom's good china." Dez brought out the china plates and put them on the table. "Observe." He grabbed their attention when he started to spin the plate on his finger, but failed as it smashed onto the floor in pieces. "Hang on."

The Wade boy repeated this over and over again, until Adelaide had enough and put her arms out to stop him. "Aaaaah! I think that's enough plate smashing. You want to save your mom at least one good china plate, yes?"

"I guess you're right." Dez sighed. "But, I can just get more from the store." He shrugged, and went to pick up another plate, but Austin and Adelaide both rushed forward and grabbed his arms.

"Smash another plate and I'll make you clean this all up." The Dawson girl threatened, which made Dez put the plate back on the table, and the other two sighed in relief. "Now then, I'm gonna go out and get my cleaning brushes, and by the time I come back," She pointed her finger between them both and raised a brow. "you guys better be out of here. You understand?"

Austin and Dez vigorously nodded their heads in fear of the girl โ€” not that they would admit it to her face though. "Great." Adelaide beamed, when the scolding expression had fallen from her face and she waved them goodbye. "Toodles!"

The brown-haired girl then left the room, making her way to grab some a brush from the cleaning equipment. But on her way back, something that was going on downstairs caught her eye.

Adelaide furrowed her brows, standing at the top of the staircase while watching Ally stop Dallas in his path, who was currently holding a storage box in his arms. "Real quick, umm, let's just say you wanted to get your job at the cell phone cart back..."

"It's too late." Dallas said. "They already gave my job to someone else." He turned around, heading upstairs to take the box to the storage room, and passed Adelaide on the stairs. He smiled politely towards the girl who quickly returned it when she walked past him and went over to her sister. She gestured behind her with the brush, stammering a bit before asking. "Do you care to tell me why Dallas is carrying one of our boxes upstairs?"

"Ummm well..." Ally trailed off, unsure on how to answer her sister. Fortunately, she was saved by Trish who had walked in, dressed in another job uniform. "Guess who got a job at the cellphone accessory cart?" But seeing the look of frustration come across Ally's face, Trish shrugged. "What?"

"Hang on a minute, I thought your crush worked there." Adelaide brought up, and the girls turned to her to see the confused expression on her face dropping as soon as she noticed Ally wincing at her. "Tell me you didn't."

โˆ˜โ‚Šโœงโ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โœงโ‚Šโˆ˜

It's been a couple hours since Dallas had came in for the job, helping the Dawson's out with putting the boxes in the storage room. However, the boy was terrible. Almost every storage box he tried to carry, had dropped out of his hands and crashed to the ground โ€” only creating more mess.

Trish had left the store not long ago to go back to her job, already wanting to quit the role when it hasn't even reached a day yet.

Adelaide was coming from upstairs, after clearing up the mess that Austin and Dez had made in the practice room previously. She walked down, with the sweeping brush still in her hand, approaching Ally who was standing behind the counter.

Austin and Dez had came in, with the basketballs still spinning on their fingers as a couple record officials followed them in. "How's it going?" The blonde-haired boy asked, keeping his eyes on the ball.

"Horrible."

"Horrible great or horrible bad?" Dez made a face at the twins who looked at him perplexed, due to his question.

"There's only one kind of horrible." Adelaide told him.

"Dallas is not the greatest worker," Ally started to explain, moving over to grab a box from the other side of the counter. "so we have to put all these boxes by ourselves."

"We'll help you." Austin volunteered to help carry some of the boxes for them, but they both looked unsure, seeing as they were still spinning the ball on their fingers. Would the boys manage to carry them up the stairs without dropping a box, or the basketball?

Austin walked around the counter to stand by the other side as Ally questioned. "Are you sure you'll be able to carry boxes while spinning those balls?"

"It's easy." Dez replied, before picking up the box from the counter, holding it on his free hand and grinned at Ally. "Eh?"

"I can carry two boxes." Austin bragged, showing them that's what he could do.

"Three boxes and a birthday cake." The Wade boy smirked as he managed to one up him.

Adelaide looked between the duo, before hanging her head back and sighed loudly. "Come on, not this again." She murmured.

Ally looked over at her sister for a moment before turning her gaze towards Dez. "Why do you have a birthday cake?" She asked him, and Dez looked at her like she was crazy. "Uh, because they were out of wedding cakes." He rolled his eyes as if it was obvious, before walking upstairs with Austin and the two record officials behind them.

"Hey, boss!" Dallas called out, seeing Lester come into the store.

"Boss?" He turned around, confused by his call as a panicked Ally ran out from behind the counter to interfere. "Hey, boss! That's what all the kids are saying these days." She quickly lied, wanting to hide the fact that she accidentally hired Dallas for a little longer, until she could figure out a way to fire him. She carried on by glancing around at the customers and called out. "Hey boss! What's up, boss? Nothing, just chilling, boss."

"Whatever you say, boss." Lester laughed, before a loud crash was heard nearby, and the Dawson's directed their attention to the scene. The three of them ran over, as Austin and Dez rushed down the stairs with several open boxes all on the floor.

"Sorry we dropped the boxes, we were just trying to help." Austin apologised to them, looking back at Dez who had a slither of frosting from the cake between his nose and lips. "You know, because the guy Ally hired stinks. He's not getting any of my cake."

Adelaide narrowed her eyes, and slowly moved to stand in front of Dez as Austin watched her with widened eyes. But what he didn't expect, was for her to just gather a small piece of the cake in her hand and put it in her mouth without saying one word but her actions said everything. If I have to clean this up, then I get to have some of your cake.

"Ally?" Lester raised his brows, putting his hands on his hips as he spoke in a fatherly tone. "You want to explain what's going on?"

"Well, I kind of, accidentally hired Dallas to work here." Ally admitted to her father. "And I know I need to let him go, but I can't because Trish has his old job and even though he's as bad at zeroesโ€”"

"Look, Ally." Lester was quick to interrupt. "This is your mess. You know we can't afford another employee. You have to fire Dallas." He reminded her, before gesturing to his eldest daughter. "Or, I'll have to get your sister to do it... and that won't be a pretty picture for him." He told her, knowing how blunt she is. They looked towards Adelaide who waved at the two with an innocent smile on her face.

Ally sighed. "I know. You're right." She answered, making him smile before he held his arms out as if he was offering her a hug. Ally stepped closer to him, believing that was what he was doing, but he grabbed her shoulders and turned her around to push her towards Dallas. As she approached the boy, she gave him an awkward smile. "Hey, Dallas."

"I'm almost done with the picks." He said, before holding up a couple broken ones as the smile on his face fell into a wince. "I broke a couple."

"How did you...?" Ally went to ask, but decided to leave it. "That's okay. Uh, listen, I really enjoy having you around here, but..."

"Thanks so much for giving me this job." The boy stood up, looking around the store. "I love it here. And the best part? I get to see you everyday." His words earned a giggle from Ally. "Aw, really?" It seemed like she had forgotten was she was going to do in the first place before her face dropped at the realisation. "Aw, really?"

โˆ˜โ‚Šโœงโ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โœงโ‚Šโˆ˜

After talking with Adelaide and Trish at the mall, and if Trish wasn't going to quit her job that she actually liked, surprising, I know, Ally decided to let them teach her how to fire Dallas.

The next day, Ally was sat down in the middle of the practice room, on a chair, as her sister stood in front of her and watched Trish circle the girl as she instigated the lesson. "Okay, you want to fire someone? You got options. You need to find out what works for you." She explained to her. "I like to keep it simple. I call this, 'The Classic Fire'."

She turned away for just a moment before facing Ally again to impersonate how she would fire the boy. "Dallas, you're fired. Pack your stuff and get out of my face." She spoke harshly. But Adelaide knew straight away that Ally wouldn't go for that option. Like she could speak to him like that?

"That seems a little harsh."

"Okay." Trish merely shrugged. "Then there's the friendly fire." She tapped Adelaide on the arm to get her attention. "Addy, why don't you take this one?"

The brunette sighed, turning away from Ally like Trish just did moments ago, before spinning back around. "Dallas, you're fired. Pack up your stuff and get out of my face." She repeated the same words from the last option but in a much softer tone.

Ally looked between the two strangely. "That still sounds a little harsh." She pointed out, and Trish pulled a face at her, not hearing what Ally heard apparently. "Really? Wow, okay. Ooh, here's this: 'the silent fire'." Trish opened the door, pointing out of it as she shook her head with a frown. Ally copied her head movements and shook her head, making Trish give her an 'are you serious?' look.

"Fine. Let's try something else." Adelaide said as Trish shut the door and walked back over. "I'll be Dallas." She suggested, pushing Ally off the stool so she could sit down. "Show me and Trish how'd you fire me." As her sister turned to her, Adelaide imitated Dallas by flipping her hair. "Hey, Ally. Your hair looks really nice today."

Ally giggled. "Really? Because I've been using this new conditionerโ€”" She started rambling, but she stopped when she saw the looks that she received from the others. "I mean, um, hey, Dallas, there's something we need to talk about."

"I know, I was late, I'm sorry." Adelaide spoke as Dallas again. "My bike had a flat tireโ€”"

"I can fix it for you!" Ally exclaimed, while cutting her off, getting a pointed look from Trish and her sister groaned. "Come on, woman. Pull yourself together!"

"Ally! You should just let me fire him." The De La Rosa girl recommended herself for it. "I know the perfect way. I call it, 'The Big Wammo Public Humiliation Fire'." She felt herself getting excited to fire him already, and Ally hasn't even given her answer yet. "I'm gonna need a marching band, a gospel choir, a juggling bear, aโ€”"

"No, I should do it." Ally quickly insisted, picking up the music sheets off the table. Trish shrugged at her decision and followed her over to the piano where she put the music sheets back where they belong. "Fine. But, you're too nice. You need to be worked up to fire Dallas. Isn't there anything that makes you angry?"

"I can think of a few things." Adelaide mentioned as she stood beside Trish with a raised brow.

"Well..." Ally racked her brain, trying to think of a few of her pet peeves to share. "I really don't like when people talk with food in their mouth." She started off, and it seemed like more was coming to her, and she continued, with the words flowing out of her mouth quite easily as the level of her frustration was increasing. "Oh, and when people say, 'libary' instead of 'library'. Or what about the noise styrofoam makes when you rub it together. The..." She mimicked the squeaking noise as she pretended to rub the styrofoam together. "I hate that!"

"Okay, Ally, this is good." Adelaide smiled, while her and Trish tried to pump her up.

"Yeah, I can do this." Ally replied, trying to match their energy. "I'm gonna fire him when he shows up for work later."

"Great! Let's get you worked up." Trish turned to the table next to her, taking a bite out of a banana and began to chew it with her mouth open, as she grabbed the styrofoam cups to rub them together while repeating the word "libary", backing Ally into the door as Adelaide laughed.

โˆ˜โ‚Šโœงโ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โœงโ‚Šโˆ˜

"Guys, stop it! What are you doing?" Ally stopped the boys who were in the middle of fighting while still doing the challenge. Adelaide had just come downstairs, walking around them to stand next to Ally. "You're best friends."

"Yeah," Adelaide nodded. "are you really fighting over getting your name in some stupid book?" At the looks she got from the record officials, the girl corrected herself. "Sorry, I'm sure it's a great book." She sent them a thumbs up, before leaving with her sister.

"The girls are right. We're being silly." The Moon boy realised.

"Yeah, I don't even care if I get the record. In fact, I hope you get it."

Austin smiled lightly. "You know what, I'm gonna let you win." He made the decision, and stopped spinning the ball and dropped it on the ground as his record official stopped his stopwatch and left the store.

"Wow, thanks, man." The redhead beamed. "You know what? I'm gonna let you win." Not realising what he just said, and before anyone could stop him, Dez stopped spinning his basketball as well, making his record official stop the stopwatch and walk out the store.

"What are you doing?! I already lost!" The blonde exclaimed, looking at his friend in disbelief. "You were about to set the record!"

"Aww, man." Dez pouted, before him and Austin started walking out of the store.

"What do you want to do now?"

"Well, I gotta buy my mom new plates."

Adelaide shared a look with Ally at what had just happened, and shook her head. Just as she went to comment on the situation, she spotted Dallas coming through the doors, so she made a signal at the girl before backing away to hide, but where she could also hear what was going on.

"Okay, I can do this." Ally muttered, rubbing two cups of styrofoam together before Dallas walked up to her. "Oh, uh, Dallas, I need to talk to you."

"I need to talk to you too." Dallas interjected. "I have to quit working here."

"There's no easy way to say this, butโ€” what?" She asked once she realised what Dallas said. "You're quitting?"

He looked at her apologetically. "Yeah. I'm really sorry but I got another job andโ€”"

"Awww! Are you kidding?!" She raised her voice, her words filled with sarcasm, making her sister pull a face from behind the stairs, listening to her continue. "You're not gonna work here anymore? Man, that's horrible! What happened? That stinks! Why?"

"Well, I got a new job at the libary." He explained to her, making Adelaide wince at hearing the boy mispronounce the word.

"Oh, uh, library? Really?" Ally asked, attempting to hide the bothered expression on her face due to that word.

"Yeah, my mom's a libarian," Dallas continued to talk, still mispronouncing the word, not noticing how it was annoying the girl who let out an 'Ooh' and he carried on. "and she's been trying to get me to work at the libary for a while."

"Darn. Darn-y, darn, darn."

Dallas gestured over to the box behind Ally. "Let me just take that last box up before I go." The boy offered. He walked over to pick up the box from the piano bench, but couldn't even hold it for a second before it dropped on the ground. "Sorry."

As Dallas turned away, Adelaide walked out from behind the stairs and quickly rushed over to Ally, when Trish entered the store, shaking her head at the girl when she already assumed. "You couldn't do it, could you?"

"I didn't have to." Ally smiled at her. "He quit! He got another job."

"He quit?" Trish echoed, with her eyes wide open in shock. "Uh-oh."

"What do you mean uh-oh?"

"I knew you couldn't go through with firing him, so I kinda took matters into my own hands." She confessed.

Adelaide sighed loudly. "Oh, god, please don't tell me you did the Big Wammoโ€”" Trish pursed her lips and nodded quickly. "Yes. Yes, I did."

Just as she said that, two cheerleaders came in to the store, holding a big banner that read Dallas, you're fired! With two more cheerleaders behind them with pom-pom's in their hands. A marching band was next to make their entrance, playing their instruments, while Dallas watched with an appalled expression.

"Really, a marching band?" Ally asked.

"Um, th-there's more." Trish stammered. Though she never got to elaborate, as a gospel choir came in, singing together. "You're fired, ooh. You're so fired. In fact, you were never hired. You're fired, ooh. You're so fired. Ally wants to fire you because you stink at what you do. Ally wants to fire you because you stink at what you do. You're fired, ooh."

Ally looked over at her sister and gave her a 'what the hell?' look when she noticed her moving her head to the beat. "What? It was catchy." Adelaide shrugged innocently.

A variety of different coloured balloons that read You're fired! on them, then rained down from the ceiling. So, as her dramatic self, Adelaide leaned over the counter and pushed the balloons to the floor.

"So that's the big wammo public humiliation fire I was telling you two about." The De La Rosa girl said, chuckling nervously. "It usually ends with a juggling bear. Next time."

A now nervous Ally did what she always does and started to chew a lock of her hair, while shrinking down to the floor. "Oh, not again." Adelaide then sighed, before her and Trish ducked down, and sat with Ally.

โˆ˜โ‚Šโœงโ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โœงโ‚Šโˆ˜

The three girls were in the middle of cleaning up the mess that had been made earlier when Trish did the Big Wammo Public Humiliation Fire by accident, when Dallas returned. "Oh, uh, Dallas, I am so sorry about the whole firing-you, marching band thing." Ally instantly apologised.

"It's okay, I probably deserved it." He sighed. "I wasn't the best employee... I just, I get so nervous when I'm around you sometimes."

"Awww." Adelaide said out loud, making the pair turn their heads to look at her and she awkwardly looked away, scratching her head.

"Anyways..." Ally trailed off, and looked at Dallas in shock. "you get nervous around me? Around nervous I get you." She chuckled. "See?"

"I should probably get going." He said, starting to back away. "I have to work at the libary."

There it is again. "Ehhh." Ally cringed, grabbing the trash can as Dallas headed out, before the girl walked around to get behind the counter with her sister and Trish following her. "So, I'm guessing no more crush since he says libary." The latter assumed.

"Actually, it's kinda cute when he says it."

"Well, on a more important note," Trish changed the subject, smiling brightly. "guess who kept her job at the cell phone cart for three whole days?"

Adelaide copied her hand movements. "Not you. It's only been two days." She reminded, speaking in the same tone as she did.

"What? I just quit! Aw, man." Trish sighed before shrugging her shoulders, not too bothered by the news. "Oh, well."

"Hey!" Austin called, as he and Dez approached the girls with news of their own. "We've decided to set new world records. I'm gonna be the world's oldest man, starting... now!" The blonde-haired boy started the stopwatch. "Whew, only a 107 years to go."

"And I'm gonna be the world's best plate spinner. Starting..." Dez grabbed his stack of china plates out of his bag, and just as he went to spin one on his finger, Adelaide held a sweeping brush up to him, screaming.

"Ah Ah Ahhh! Step away from the plates!"
