FAMILY BACKGROUND

Ophelia is the bastard daughter of Mikael, like her brother Niklaus. Niklaus would die for his siblings, but for her he wouldn't think twice, reason being why he has never daggered her. she is the light of the family, the one who keeps them as one. even with her bright light and kindness, it doesn't change the fact she is a bastard in her father's eyes. growing up she always wanted to be loved by her father as did her brother, Mikael adored the fiery red head when she was human.

she was his his little ophelia, next to freya, she was his angel; reason being why her nickname was angel. until he found out that she was to, part beast. his love diminished once he saw she would do anything for Niklaus, dying for him disgusted their father, it confused him. even if she was part beast his love for his daughter wavered, he wanted to hate her but he just couldn't find it in him; that doesn't mean he wouldn't kill her if she protected Niklaus. and that's what she did throughout the centuries,
always and forever.

Always and forever wasn't just a vow to her, it is what kept her going, kept her sane even. As a family they experienced many things, protected one another. She was far from innocent, but her siblings sought out to keep her away from danger and harm. Which is hard in a family filled with raging issues and enemies. She is the siblings prized possession, their sanity, their bright light.

She loved them each unconditionally even when they fought and turned against each other, she would be there to comfort them. If anyone dared cross her, she would be unrecognizable; she would kill until the town rained blood. Her anger, grief, frustration, paranoia, hatred are just as strong as her love for the one's she cares for. She loved them all and God forgive anyone who dares cross her and her loved ones.

PERSONALITY

ophelia is the soft spoken mikaelson. compared to her siblings, she is the 'nicest' one out of them all. she tends to be quite blunt and straight to the point, often very apologetic when it comes to those times. her angelic features can distract anyone. wether it is her friends or family, her love and passion is what drives her. she can be easily naive towards anyone who comes her way, being she likes to see the best in people. like her name Ophelia she wants to help others, mend people's hearts, and themselves as a hole. that being said that doesn't mean she isn't sarcastic, snarky, and in other words a bitch when it comes to those she despises or dislikes. she has quite the tongue on her, and isn't afraid to say what she is thinking.

her number one fear is grief, she fears losing someone she loves. When her good friend Allison Argent, and love Erica Reyes died, her persona changed drastically, she was on the verge of turning her humanity off. She struggled deeply with the loss of her brothers Finn and Henrik Mikaelson, her good friend Stefan Salvatore, ex love Lorenzo St. John. She fears losing anyone else, and the grief that comes with it.

Lydia, Scott and Stiles, along with her siblings, stopped her in time before she could. Never leaving the young girls side. throughout all the heartbreak in her life she thought a human's life wouldn't have much meaning to her that was until the young Argent and Reyes died. since then she keeps her 'pack' small and only trusts those in it. she loves her friends and considers them just as much family as her siblings and niece, she would die for them. even if she does give you the benefit of the doubt, doesn't mean she 100% trusts you. she believes trust is earned and not given.
