Wait

I shut my eyes as I realized she is the only one to stop me.

I have landed myself in a great trouble!!

She came in front of me as I heard her footsteps.

"Hey" She spoke and I opened my eyes embarrassed.

"Is it yours?" She said showing a bracelet,it resembles mine.

I checked my hand and realized it was mine.

"Yeah, it's mine"I said and tried to take it from her but she didn't give it instead held my hand and tied it on my hand.

While,I was just staring her doing that

Man!!.. control Yourself. You should thank her instead of beating you up,she is helping You.

"It's done!!. She said and looked towards me smiling.

There was a moment of silence between us.

"Naira!" She introduced herself and forwarded her hand for a handshake.

"Kartik!" I too forwarded my hand and we did a handshake.

Well, it was just a handshake but it gave me thousands of butterflies in my stomach.

"Can I ask you something?" She asked.

"Yeah,Sure"

"Are you scared of these swings, rides?"

And I was so embarrassed. She will also think me a weakling.

"Yes",I said hesitantly.

"Hey, Don't get embarrass" she said and held my arm with her hand.

And a shiver ran down my spine.

I have many friends which are girls but I have never ever felt like this with them. Her mere touch was bringing goosebumps in my body.

What's happening with me!!??

"You know, it's normal. Many people are scared of rides and it's no matter to be embarrassed but I want to advise you that you should fight from it." She continued.

"How?"I asked.

"By enjoying on these rides,I know first You will be very scared but when you will be habitual of it. Then Your fear will run away like a mouse runs after seeing the cat." She said and laughed.

"I am sorry,I blabber so much" she again said.

"Yes,You do but You said right,I should try but I am scared. Btw, Aren't You scared of these rides."

"Nope! I love rides means It's so thrilling. I like these adventurous stuff. I always try to discover something new."

"In this thing,we are completely opposite!" I said while she smiled.

Just then we heard people screaming as they were enjoying the rides.

"Chalo, let's go to that ride."

"No.. please"

"Kartik,come" she said dragging me.

I looked at her with pleading eyes.

"Ok,if you will be afraid and I know you will be then you can hold my hand."she said and winked.

While I chuckled nervously. And the girl was successful in dragging me but I also didn't complain as I was feeling good and relaxed being with her.

I dunno why?

Like this,She made me sit in almost all dangerous rides.

Man!! I was scared like anything.

In all these rides,I was holding her hand.

But now,My fear vanished as I enjoyed these swings almost 4-5 times. I literally enjoyed.

"Thank You"I thanked her while she smiled.

"Mention not" she said smiling widely.

Her smile is so infectious as My lips also drew in a wide smile.

"Would You like to grab a coffee?"I asked as I wanted to spend more time with her.

"Of course"

We went to cafe and chit-chatted for sometime.

"Can You give me your number?" i asked and then immediately regretted.

"I am sorry for asking" I said abruptly.

"Arrey, It's okay..I was about to ask the same."

"Really"I asked unable to believe.

"Yeah"she said.

Then we exchanged our numbers.

We were talking  while sipping the coffee but then the coffee fell on her hand making her wince in pain.

"Naira,Are you okay"

"Do you have an icepack?"I asked worried from the staff.

It must be burning like hell.

Just then someone gave me icepack.

I took her hand and started to rub the burnt area with that.

"Ahh" she winced.

"Naira jyada jal rha h?!" I asked concerned and started blowing the air on her burnt portion.

"Ab theek h." She said but I was still not convinced,it was still red.

I was still blowing the air while she looked in my eyes. After sometime,I left her hand which was now less red than before. I too looked in her eyes deeply trying to decipher the unknown feelings.

While our eyelock got interrupted by a call.

I looked at it. Oh, It's rohan's call.

"Excuse me" i said,went to the corner and attended the call.

"Where r u?" He asked and I said him to leave me alone for sometime. I didn't want to tell him about Naira.

I ended the call and looked at naira who was enjoying the scenic beauty through the glass pane.

"Ok, let's go" I said.

"Hmm"

That day,we enjoyed a lot. It was the best and most beautiful day of my life.

Now, It's been 15 days,we hangout with each other a lot. We haven't left a single swing. I am no more afraid of rides.

We chat with each other,talk on phone.

It's not been a single day when we didn't talk.

I have realized that I have fallen for her but I don't have any idea about her feelings.

But still I will propose her tomorrow.

I can't wait to tell her.

We were in amusement park and now moving towards another swing.

We both sat on the swing and I held her hand. Well,we always enjoy the ride like this ..means in every ride,I clutch her hand.

Yeah,now I am not afraid of swings but still I don't want to leave her hand and she also doesn't complain,so why to leave this opportunity.

She was enjoying the ride while I slid the ring which I have brought in her finger. It was very very difficult to slid the ring as we were on a swing but finally I did it. She looked at the ring and then At me perplexed. Some tears made their way out of her eyes while she smiled. Her eyes were Sparkling and I got my answer.

I was on cloud 9. My happiness was unfathomable. Soon, the swing stopped and we got off.

I forwarded my hand and she held it.

I took her to a place in the amusement park as I have planned everything earlier.

I knelt down in front of her.

"Naira,can I ask you something?" She nodded.

"Will you be a part of a ride?" I asked her.

"Which ride?"she asked.

"Rollar coaster ride of my life" I asked her.

She nodded smiling, her eyes full of happy tears.

She  too knelt down and hugged me.

"I love you"-I said

"I love you too" She said.

We broke the hug and soon our lips met. We kissed each other conveying our feelings through that kiss.

I never thought that the thing which I was scared of will give me the most beautiful and important person of my life.

I realized that the swings can play cupid, just like in my case.
