"πππ ππππππ πππππ ππ πππ π πππ!" ππππ πππππππππ πππππππ ππ ππ ππππ ππ πππππ π πππ πππ ππππ. The King and all the Lord's were present including the Lord of Storms End.
"Key word their Otto nearly I nearly caved in his face," Rhagar was slouched in his chair looking as unbothered as ever even with Lord Borros seated.
Though, even he looked relaxed and seemed perfectly calm, "Hightower I see no reason to take forth action against Lord Warfare."
Kratus sat besides his son with a small smirk that infuriated the hand of the King, he subtly nudged shoulders with Rhagar and gave him a small wink.
Rhagar grinned to his father before trying to tune out the irritating and harsh voice that was Otto, "with all due respect Lord Borros I do not feel comfortable with a man as rash as Rhagar leading the Commanders Watch or protecting your daughter your grace."
Sirens rang in the Valyrian's head and Rhagar slammed a hand on the table shaking the cups that held no wine, Rhaenyra had not attended the last meetings, and turned his head to the Hightower. "I do not think it wise to question my temper Otto," he spat his name, "or you shall find out what happens when someone tempts my fury."
The silence was now thick as the two stared at one another with a silent battle dancing across their eyes. Rhagar's flared a dangerous gold whilst Ottos twitched in anger until a somber voice broke their challenge, "please Otto, Lord Borros says that his own son is to be held accountable so in my eyes that settles the matter."
Lord Hightower looked at a loss for words making Rhagar's mood lift higher and he felt the need to fly with Klauth, his duties permitted him from spending time with his dragon. The King pardoned those at the table and Rhagar had an idea as to why Viserys was being so kind to him.
He wanted forgiveness for whatever reason Rhagar wouldn't know but he had an inkling that it had to do with the fact Rhagar was like Aemma's son. In lamaence terms he'd killed his mother- a good reason to want to get back on the crazed dragons good books.
The twenty year old sought out Lord Borros as he trudged out of the chamber and he stood to follow only when his fathers voice called out. "Rhagar," he turned with an eyebrow raised, "well done," Kratus said loud enough for Otto to hear making the father son duo share a snicker.
"Lord Borros!" Due to his name he stopped, "I must thank you personally for not seeking out for my head."
He didn't really want to thank the elder Lord because of the way Rodrick spoke of him but he had defended him so a simple thank you would suffice.
The man laughed gruffly it sounded like a black bear which would've matched his large beard, "I wouldn't dream of it especially with that beast of yours-frightening that one."
At the mention of his dragon he felt his mood only getting better and he decided to entertain the Lord a little longer, "why is it that you didn't want to take any action against me?"
"Over the years I thought Brandon was going to be a great ruler of Storms End but this past year has made me reconsider," he paused and itched his beard, "Brandon became cocky but my second born Rodrick is flourishing into a man better than myself."
Rhagar couldn't believe the day he was having and felt a smile once again growing on his face as Borros continued, "If Brandon does not clean up his act then Rodrick will be next in line."
"You are quite wise my Lord," Rhagar didn't mean his words but didn't want to squander his friends chances at becoming a ruler and tried to big up Lord Borros' ego.
It seemed to work as he waved his hand and crossed his arms over his chest, "please I should thank you for knocking some sense into my eldest," he spoke 'knocking' with a small raise of his eyebrows before bidding him goodbye and carrying on down the dimly lit hall.
Rhagar sighed to himself before looking to the closed window that left the sun shine through and raced down the stone steps. Given the amount of time he'd spent rafting the men of the City Watch and tending to the princess he had barely any time with his dragon.
Klauth was too large to be kept with the other dragons but the two were connected, apart of one another and the dragon sensed his riders eagerness and headed for Kings Landing with a mighty roar.
He took a step into the courtyard and searched the skies for an unusually large shadow though he was trying to be desecrate. As he avoided hand maidens of Rhaenyra's that could tell her his whereabouts, Rhagar's attention was too caught up in the clouds as he tried sneaking around in broad daylight that he bumped into someone.
Though, this person appeared to have seen him long before and his chest stopped at their outstretched hand. He let out an unexpected huff before looking down at the one person he was trying to avoid- Rhaenyra.
The princess said nothing and simply jutted out her hip with her hand on it as he laughed awkwardly, "I was just coming to see you."
"Mhm," she hummed with her eyes narrowing in on him, "my chambers are that way," she pointed to the top of the castle and he cursed his mind for turning to liquid whenever she was near.
It wasn't that he disliked her presence entirely and instead he could now tolerate the girls voice near him without wanting to tear his ears off. He only wanted time away from his responsibilities and that included her bus it appeared she want having it.
So he relented and tried the one thing he never did, tell the truth. "I only wished for a moment with Klauth and possibly going on a flight with him," Rhagar's voice was the same though he twirled his thumbs whilst Rhaenyra stared at him with an unreadable face.
He thought she'd laugh and order him about but she instead put a hand on his forearm making him look at her. "I suppose I can live without you looking over me every second on one condition," he waited for her to speak in wariness as she had a devious spark in her eye that only meant to annoy him. "I come with you."
"It would not be wise," Daemon had sent him many ravens desperate to seek his presence at Runestone where he married Lady Rhea Royce. The Rouge Prince invited Rhagar to the reception but he could not leave as the princess seemed to appear as soon as he was looking suspicious- like right now.
Rhaenyra chuckled before stepping closer to look up at him, "I insist it's been quite some time since I rode a dragon."
Rhagar felt his words catching in his throat and ears burning as the similar feeling in his stomach fluttered about.
He was angered at the fact that she was able to pick up on his slight stutter and snickered to herself before turning to the dragon pits.

The Valyrian felt that he would not take Rhaenyra to Runestone, hearing Daemon bitch to him about his wife would not be a good influence on the princess.
So, he decided on a fairly large city that was East of Kings Landing it was fairly wealthy as it traded most of its livestock for gold. Though, it was in rough times given a certain large dragon had been stalking off with its sheep and yacks.
Klauth's shadow blanketed the the large city making half of them think it was night time but Rhagar swerved his dragon to land in the water near the docks. Klauth stretched his neck long enough so Rhagar would be able to step on a deserted ship as it was tied to a pole of wood.
Rhaenyra had no trouble with Syrax and she landed on the stoned surface that lead into the town from the docks.
He stepped off of the ship and onto the wooden platform that lead to the pavement before turning his head to his dragon, "sΕvΔtΔs." Klauth let out a gurgling sound that rippled the water and he took off from the sea bed nearly causing a tidal wave. (Fly)
Rhagar turned back to Rhaenyra who had done the same to Syrax and he watched as the two followed one another high into the clouds. He squinted his eyes at them with a small scoff before walking to the princess.
"Now what is it you do in your spare time?" She questioned as they began to walk out of the empty harbour and were on the outskirts of the small city.
"I don't think you'd want to know," he said gruffly and she looked at him with a raised eyebrow. Before she opened her mouth again Rhagar stopped a man who was crossing the street and headed their way.
"I need that," the Valyrian had his arm pressing harshly on the man's shoulder. He looked as though he was ready to retaliate but then his eyes landed on Rhagar's face and he shrunk back. "Now."
With rushed hands he hastily took off the cloak that was covering the top of his body with a hood on the back of it. Rhagar snatched it off of him and turned to Rhaenyra, holding it out expectantly, "put it on."
"That was mean," she pointed out as she watched the man scramble away with his head lower than before.
"I know now put it on."
"Why?"
"Because I don't doubt that the people would love to gossip about the princess out and about with a man," his word choice made her even more confused.
"But your just my guard."
"But they don't know that- for all they know you," he stepped closer to her, "could be," he was now directly towering over her with her staring up at him, "tainted."
"Tainted?" She repeated slowly with her eyes looking slightly intrigued and dark."
"Yes," he said before stepping away and holding out the cloak," put it on." She did as he said and he pulled up his own hood before they both walked into the buzzing streets that were crowded.
Many stands were placed on the sides of the street and Rhaenyra desperately wanted to go near them. Though, Rhagar pulled her by the arm into a tavern with the smell of ale reaching his nose it made him instantly relaxed.
"Really? Wine Rhagar honestly," she crossed her arms with a loud and annoyed huff.
"Calm yourself," he sneered, "it's only a quick stop with all the jobs you have me doing I rarely have the time for a proper drink."
He left no room for her to argue as he was already headed to the bar and Rhaenyra sighed before scouring around the place with her eyes. There were many people in here and the tavern was loud but people were either standing or crowded around tables. Luckily, she saw a table nearly secluded and she headed straight for it before anyone took it.
Rhagar was sat at the bar waiting to be served and when he sat down a man to his right instantly stood up. He shook it off and turned to the server, "pint please," he said and threw two gold pieces onto the counter.
He sighed lowly before searching for Rhaenyra who he easily spotted through the sea of people but then began to narrow his eyes. "For fuck sake," he muttered as he saw her sitting across from a man- the man who had gotten up when he sat down. Had he been waiting for Rhagar to leave so he could sit with her?
Rhagar left the drink before forcing his way through the people, harshly shoving his shoulders into their path. Rhaenyra looked to be enjoying the strangers company too much as she was laughing with her eyes glinting.
The black haired man had his back to Rhagar but the princess had a Birds Eye view of her personal guard storming up to them and chocked on the air slightly.
"Get up." Rhagar stood in between them with his glare splitting the man's skull in two as he just chuckled and leaned back in the chair. His temper was now flaring wildly and no one would like what came next.
"Why should I? Me and my sweetheart here are enjoying ourselves aren't we, love?" Rhaenyra cringed as he called her those nicknames and couldn't help but compare how they sounded when Rhagar called her, 'love.' And this stranger didn't stand a chance.
Her guard looked to her with his sneer still on his face before turning back to the cocky man, "listen you little fucker." His voice dropped lower than before fill it sounded croaky, "if you don't move I'll tear out your spine and wrap it round your neck till you choke."
Rhagar felt his hands twitch at his side when the man laughed and stood to his full height which wasn't far off his own but was still smaller. "You wouldn't dare," Rhaenyra suspected the villager didn't know whom he was speaking as she stared up at the two with a slightly open mouth and raised eyebrows in slight panic.
The Valyrian smiled with his sharp teeth being showed off, "I can and I am," with that he took the strangers head and slammed it onto the table. His head jumped up before his body fell to the floor and it caused an uproar in the tavern.
Turns out it didn't take long for a fight to break out between a load of drunk and broke people even when it was mid day. Punches were thrown and tables were flipped but Rhagar quickly grabbed Rhaenyra by her hand and dragged her out of the double doors.
"That was amazing," the princess beamed with her chest rising and falling as adrenaline was still fresh in her system. They crossed a road and headed back towards where they came from, "my first bar fight and it was all because my personal guard happened to be jealous."
The two came to a sudden halt down a narrow path like alleyway, "I was not jealous," he scowled with their hands still entwined- not that he realised.
"So threatening his life was simply a sudden moods swing," she coyly replied and knew they were still holding hands but made no move to take it away.
"I don't have mood swings!" He raised his voice loudly before closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, "I don't have mood swings," Rhagar said more quietly.
"Fine but tell me something guard," she held up their connected hands, "why haven't you let go of my hand?" His eyes widened in panic and he snatched his hand from her grip before grumbling to himself as he walked away and towards the docks.
He heard her laughing to herself as he walked further and further away from her but started to worry, he hadn't looked back in five minutes and he didn't hear her steps coming closer. "Princess," he called with his head not looking back down the street but he heard no reply, "princess!" He shouted aloud now turning and started panicking when he couldn't see her in his line of sight.
"Oh shit," Rhagar said before taking off back down the alleyway with his eyes frantically spinning down all the paths that were connected to the street he was on.
"Rhaenyra!" He belted and felt sweat beginning to naw at him.
How could he have lost the realms delight- his father would have his head. He looked down a narrowed entry and saw platinum hair swaying in the soft breeze and he sighed in relief before hardening his face.
The girl of sixteen was removing her cloak and passing it to the man from whom Rhagar stole it from. She only wanted to torment her guard when she found him huddled on the floor in nothing but his rags and sandals.
She had only spoken a few words to him but instantly formed a bond, he had no family left as they all either left or died of the shivers. "Rhaenyra!" She heard a gruff voice hiss at her and she momentarily rolled her eyes before caressing the boy's cheek softly who leaned into her touch like a lost puppy.
"I was looking for you- what did I say about running off," he rambled but she only scoffed at him.
"I was returning the cloak that you stole from my new friend," Rhagar's eye twitched when she said new friend. "He's coming with us."
"No- no he isn't," Rhagar glanced at the young man who was now standing between them looking confused. He couldn't have been older than fifteen, here he was calling him a man when he's probably never even picked up a sword.
Rhaenyra squinted her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose before grabbing the boy, softly by his hand. "Yes he is and if you don't like it- deal with it," she grumbled before a shadow flew over meaning Syrax had felt he'd riders want to leave.
As Rhaenyra and her new found friend were walking away from a scowering Rhagar she turned to the youngest. "I never asked you your name," he looked to the ground shyly before speaking just above a whisper, "Oberyn."
She rose her eyebrows at the name, it was typically used in Dorne had he traveled all the way from Dorne to here. Or had his parents simply been tasteful of their exotics- she didn't ask him anymore questions and smiled, "Rhaenyra, princess Rhaenyra."
His mouth parted in slight shock but she continues waking now dragging him along with her. Rhagar followed them shortly after Klauth stormed his way to the city.
He kept his head down and kept muttering to himself, "the princess now has a pet."
