"Tonight's the night!" Chase gushed to the girls next to him in excitement. "The new frozen yogurt shop is opening! Fifty two flavours and four of them are sugar free." He paused for a moment upon seeing Bree's stare. "Oh, who are you kidding? You passed out the first time Emilia introduced you to nail polish."
"I've heard of those yogurt places." Adam said, approaching them. "They get you by charging extra for toppings. So, I'm bringing my own." He pulled his zip down on his jacket and opened it to reveal multiple bags filled with different toppings stuck to the inside of his jacket. "You don't even wanna know what's in my pants." He pulled his arms down, smacking hard onto his jeans before letting out a scream as he forgot what he had in them. "Ahh! Ooh! Hot butterscotch! Ooh!"
Donald then approached the table. "Sorry, you guys are coming home straight after school. So no flavours, no froyo, no hanging with the bros, peeps, and homies." He sadly informed them.
"Bros, peeps, and homies?" Bree repeated while sharing an amused look with Emilia who shook her head. "Yeah, just don't. Just... no." Emilia told him.
"What's got you so grouchy?" Leo looked at the man in question. "They run out of human footstools at the rich-guy club?" He wondered.
"Did you forget your little buddy Marcus found the lab yesterday? He could've discovered our bionic secret." Donald reminded them.
"Oh! Okay, so it's our fault that your million dollar smart home system didn't stop him?" Bree sarcastically said, getting up from the table with Emilia and Chase following.
"Don't go there, Supergirl. I was getting my beauty sleep. Something you might want to look into." Eddy interjected with a remark that made the boys chuckle.
"Look, it doesn't matter whose fault it was," He began to say before not-so subtly pointing at Leo through his next words. "even though someone was supposed to be watching him."
"Well, technically someone pulled Leo away, letting Marcus roam free." Leo retorted while mimicking Donald's actions.
"Guys, I think you're talking about each other."
"Bottom line, I am keeping a tighter leash on you three. And Leo, because I can't always be there, you have to step it up and do a better job of watching out for them." Donald explained to his step-son who furrowed his brows. "Me? What about her?" Leo asked, gesturing towards his best friend.
Emilia cleared her throat. "Her has a name, and come on, really?" She scoffed.
Leo sighed. "Fine. No problem, Big D. I may have let one goon get too close, but I won't let any more Marcuses slip through the cracks. From now on you can call me the Enforcer!"
"Yeah, nobody's gonna be calling you that." The Hunter banshee retorted, making Leo give her a look. And as soon as Donald left the room, Leo turned to the bionic siblings. "The hammer is down, people. No more talking to boys, no more talking to girls, no more helping old ladies to their cars!"
"I was helping your grandmother." Chase had to remind the boy to defend himself when Leo got in his face. "Trust no one!" He seethed.
Donald ran into the room. "It's here! It's here! It's here! It's here! It's here!" He screamed with his arms waving around wildly.
"What? What is it?" Bree asked.
"Whatever it is, I hope it came with a big box of masculinity, 'cause I never want to see that again." Eddy interjected with a remark.
"Just come here!" Donald laughed, running back out as the others followed him. The teens stopped in the garage, staring in amazement as Donald announced. "Meet the world's first self driving car, designed by yours truly. That's right, just when you thought I couldn't get more awesome, Boom! I got more awesome!"
"And, boom! I still want to be dropped off a block away from school." Bree mocked, getting a chuckle from Emilia.
"So how does this thing drive itself?" Leo asked curiously.
"Oh, well, uh, see this panel on top? It receives a satellite signal and sends all the pertinent information to the car's on-board computer and voila, it drives itself! Hey, did I mention, by the way, that this car goes 200 miles an hour? No? That's because it goes 300!" Donald explained, with a smile on his face. He clicked the button, making the engine start before a voice came through from the car. "Good evening, Donald. Would you like to take a ride?"
Emilia smiled, looking towards Donald. "She sounds classy."
Tasha walked into the room. "Guys, what are you doing?" She asked, seeing as the teenagers were still there. "You're gonna be late for school! Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go!"
โโโ ๏ฝฅ ๏ฝก๏พโ: *.โฝ .* :โ๏พ. โโโ
After having a long hard day at school, with Leo taking his job as the 'enforcer' quite seriously, luckily for Emilia, Tasha had allowed her to go to the frozen yogurt shop, as long as she got back as soon as possible.
Even seeing Principal Perry shotgunning tutti-fruity straight from the dispenser was more fun than being a babysitter for Adam, Bree and Chase, however she did feel bad for them.
"There she is!" The banshee suddenly heard a familiar voice, and widened her eyes to see Adam, Bree and Chase along with Davenport's new self-driving car.
"What do you guys doing here?" She wondered, after swallowing the scoop of frozen yoghurt that melted in her mouth.
Bree then explained. "We were bored, and Davenport is having dinner with Tasha for their anniversary and wanted us far far away. So, without Leo's notice, we snuck off here, because technically we are far far away."
"Okay, but if I were you, I would hurry if you don't want to get into trouble, especially because you brought that." Emilia reminded, gesturing to the car behind them.
"Hey guys!" Marcus called out, as he approached the group, making Emilia roll her eyes.
"Hey, Marcus." The trio greeted the boy who then pulled his eyes towards the car nearby. "Wow, this thing is awesome!" He gushed, walking around the vehicle.
"Yeah, you just say any destination and it automatically takes you there." Chase explained, before Bree chimed in. "Yet no matter how many times I tell it, 'take me to a better life' here I am."
"And get this, it even has a compartment for your gloves!" Adam gushed, making Emilia squint her eyes at the boy in slight amusement. "So, guys, the line looks pretty long. Maybe we should just cruise this thing over to my house." Marcus suggested.
"Hold it!" Leo came running in with panting breaths, and stood up straight to glare at Marcus, before approaching the trio. "Eddy told me you guys snuck out. You're all coming with me!"
"No, we're not." Bree laughed, as Emilia stood by, continuing to eat her frozen yogurt. "Oh, yes, you are!" Leo sassed back.
"You can't tell us what to do." Chase told him.
"Yeah, you're not the boss of us. What, did you run over here?" Adam chimed in before they all started bickering with each other as Emilia just watched them in silence, not being able to see what Marcus was doing.
"Okay, I'm warning you. Do not make me call for backup. Because, I do not have any backup. Let me rephrase that, I have one backup." Leo said, pulling Emilia close by her arm.
"Guys, Leo's right. I don't want you to get in trouble. Maybe you should go home. But at least grab some yogurt before you go. I'll watch the car." Marcus advised, making Emilia narrow her eyes slightly. Leo went to follow the others, when he stopped, dragging Emilia along with him who had just chucked the empty pot of her frozen yogurt in the bin.
"No, no, no. No, no, no, no, no, no, no." Leo said, pushing Marcus away from the car as Emilia stood by the passenger side. "I see what you're doing. You're not gonna lay one slimy little finger on this car. Beat it, eyebrows!"
Emilia slipped into the passenger seat along with Leo who closed the door after getting in the driver's seat. All of a sudden, the seatbelts automatically locked them in.
"Door closed. Acquiring fastest route to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean."
"Bottom of the what?!" Leo panicked.
"No, I didn't ask to go for a swim, idiot!" The auburn haired girl growled in annoyance.
"Help, help, help!" Leo called out, fiddling with the seatbelt before the voice command spoke once again. "Safety locks engaged. Departing in three, two, one." Suddenly, the car sped off with the two teens inside, as it set off towards the Pacific Ocean.
"Stop!" Leo demanded, before the voice command spoke. "Your final destination is the bottom of the Pacific Ocean and cannot be overridden. Would you like to hear some music until we arrive?"
"No!" Emilia snapped, before looking at Leo and said. "I don't think it's gonna stop, Leo."
"You said Disco." Disco music began playing, making both teens narrow their eyes in confusion before Emilia shouted. "Are you kidding me? This thing is more stupid than I thought. Call Bree!" Leo nodded before pulling his phone out and dialling Bree's number.
"Leo, where are you? And is Emilia with you?"
"We're trapped in the car speeding towards the bottom of the Ocean! Do something or the next time you see us, we're gonna be fish sticks!"
As the car continued to speed off, Bree contacted Leo again since Emilia's phone was off when Adam informed them through the phone. "Hey, Leo and Emilia, the left pedal is called a brake. Take your foot and step on it!"
Emilia grabbed the phone off Leo. "Don't you think we would have tried that already?!"
"Hey, if you can't be polite, this conversation is over." Adam said through the phone.
"Oh, sorry, Adam. We're too busy trying not to go for a swim in the Pacific Ocean."
"Leo, I'll use your cell signal to locate the car with my bionic GPS." Chase had informed them, before doing so as the phone hung up.
"Ah, crap. Emilia, are we going to die?!"
"No, we're not going to die! Shut up, I can't cope with this!" Emilia told him before they both let out screams as Bree suddenly appeared on Leo's side, hanging onto the car mirror. "Open the door!" Bree yelled to Leo.
"I can't!" Leo yelled, after trying to do so. Emilia shut her eyes, the panic rising over her as she tried not to scream and shut all the voices out around her. Thankfully, feeling the car stop, she opened one of her eyes in hesitance and asked with panting breaths. "Are we alive?"
"The car stopped. We're okay." Leo reassured the girl before the voice command spoke. "Thank you for driving a Davenport super car. Would you care to participate in a short survey about your experience?"
"Yeah, it was shit!" Emilia exclaimed her opinion before thankfully the other three arrived, glad to see the two were okay. Emilia stepped out the car and waved her arms around. "I'm moving to the back and quite frankly, that made me not want to swim ever again!"
Chase placed his arms on the girl's shoulders to calm her down while guiding her to the back door. "It's okay. You're fine now." Emilia sighed in relief before slipping into the back with Bree and Chase as Leo moved over to the passenger side to let Adam sit in the driver's spot.
"I'm just gonna sleep now. Wake me up when we get home." Emilia muttered before leaning onto Chase's shoulder who wore a soft smile on his face as the car sped off back home.
Thankfully, the group all arrived back in one piece along with the car. They all stepped out the car, taking deep breaths after that event of Emilia and Leo almost drowning in the ocean.
"You guys may have saved our life, but you also almost ended it. So you're not off the hook." Leo said, with his arms crossed over his chest. Emilia hummed in agreement. "He's probably gonna be on you like yogurt on Adam's shirt."
The boy licked it with a chuckle. "Hmm. That is not yogurt."
Donald walked into the room. "Hey!" He called to the group who widened their eyes in panic. "Do you guys have any idea how much trouble you're in? I told you, three feet away at all times. And no breathing on the windows!"
The group sighed in relief.
"Sorry." Adam chuckled as they all walked away from the car. "Sorry, it won't happen again. I'll be in my capsule."
Later on, the group walked into the living room to see Leo talking to Marcus. "Hey Marcus, what's up?" Chase greeted, in which Marcus replied. "Oh hey, guys. I just stopped by to make sure Leo and Emilia were okay."
"How sweet is this guy?" Adam rhetorically asked.
"Too sweet." Emilia hummed under her breath before looking towards Leo when she heard Bree question if he was okay. "Uh, yeah. Yeah, I'm good." The Dooley boy hesitantly replied, making Emilia even more suspicious.
