To her always and forever wasn't just a vow. It was what kept her going all these centuries.
What kept her sane. Over the centuries as a
family they experienced many things,
protected one another. She was far from innocent,
but her siblings sought out to
keep her away from danger and harm.
Now it is her turn to do that for her friends.

Which is hard in a family filled with raging issues and enemies. She is the siblings prized possession, their sanity, their bright light. She loves them each unconditionally even when they fought and turned against each other, she would be there to comfort them. If anyone dares cross her, she would be unrecognizable; she would kill until the town rained blood. Her anger, grief, frustration, paranoia, hatred are just as strong as her love for the one's she cares for.

With everything that happened in New Orleans/Mystic Falls with the witches, vampires, werewolves, Ophelia moved to Beacon Hills for a 'new beginning' as she calls it, only to find out that this small town is just as bad as the previous one's. With heartbreak and loss she managed to pull through and continues to help her friends in BH, with all the supernatural going around. She swore to protect them and anyone who dares cross her or her loved ones, will beg for mercy.
