Hallo! Heute möchte ich euch erklären, wie man auch mit einem Apple Gerät 3D Schriftart macht. Denn bei Android kann man PixelLab verwenden, aber auf Apple kann man diese App nicht herunterladen. Deshalb habe ich lange nach einer Möglichkeit gesucht, wie man das trotzdem machen kann. Als ich Procreate zu Weihnachten bekommen habe, ist mir diese Variante eingefallen.

Hello! Today I want to explain to you, how you can create 3D text on an Apple device. With Android you can just use PixelLab, but this app isn't available for Apple. So I have been looking for a way to make 3D text on apple for a long time. When I got Procreate for Christmas, I thought of this way.

Benötigte Apps/Needed Apps:
- Picsart (gratis/free)
- Phonto (gratis/free)
- Procreate (leider kostet diese App 15,99€ aber es sollte auch mit z.B. ibispaint gehen; unfortunately this App costs 15,99€ but it should also work with ibispaint;)

Schritt Eins/Step One:
Öffne Picsart und gehe bei den Farbigen Hintergründen auf einen transparenten Hintergrund. Lade es dir hinunter.
Open Picsart and choose a transparent background at the coloured backgrounds. Download the picture.

Schritt Zwei/Step Two:
Öffne Phonto und wähle das transparente Bild aus. Gehe schon mal auf „Projekt sichern", dann kannst du dir beim nächsten Mal Schritt eins und zwei sparen.
Open Phonto and select the transparent picture. Save the project, then you can skip the first two steps the next time.

Schritt Drei/Step Three:
Füge den gewünschten Text in der gewünschten Schriftart hinzu (ich habe die Schriftart Bureno ausgesucht). Verändere die Farbe nicht, es soll weiß bleiben. Lade dir den Text als PNG hinunter.
Add your text in your chosen font (I chose the Font Bureno). Don't change the colour, it should stay white. Download the text as PNG.

Schritt Vier/Step Four:
Öffne Procreate, gehe auf „Foto" und wähle das PNG mit dem Text aus (oft wird es bei den Photos einfach wie ein weißes Bild aussehen). Dann musst du bei den Ebenen bei „Hintergrundfarbe" das Hackerl wegdrücken, damit man das weiße nicht sieht, sondern eben nur den weißen Text.
Open Procreate, go to „Foto" and select the PNG with the text (it probably will look like a white pic). Then you have to press on the tick at the background colour layer so it becomes transparent and you can see the white text.

Schritt Fünf/Step Five:
Füge eine neue Ebene über dem Text hinzu und mache sie zu einer Clipping Maske. Somit kannst du nur am Text zeichnen. Fange an, am Rand von den Buchstaben mit dunkler Farbe zu malen. Das muss nicht unbedingt schön sein. Verwische es dann bei „Gauß'sche Unschärfe"
Add a new layer over the text and make it to a clipping mask. Now you can only draw on the text. Start with drawing black around the letters. It doesn't have to be beautiful because now you have to blur it with Gaussian blur.

Schritt Sechs/Step Six
Nun ist die Schrift eigentlich schon recht 3D, aber wenn du willst kannst du durch das Hinzufügen von neuen Ebenen (im Clipping Maske Modus) noch Texturen hinzufügen. Außerdem kannst du die Textfarbe ändern. Für diese Ebenen verwendest du am besten einem Mischmodus.
Now the text is quite 3D already but if you want to you can add texture through adding new layers (in clipping mask modus). Also, you can change the colour. It's best if you use a different blend mode.

Schritt Sieben/Step Seven
Füge das gewünschte Hintergrundbild hinzu und gebe diese Ebene ganz nach unten. Fertig!
Add your chosen background picture and put this layer at the bottom. Finished!

Ich hoffe, euch hat dieses Tutorial geholfen. Es ist zwar sehr aufwändig, aber ich finde, es lohnt sich. Besonders, da ich noch keine andere Art gefunden habe, um guten 3D Text hinzubekommen (außer die Website flamingtext, aber da hat man sehr wenige Schriftarten).
I hope this tutorial was helpful. It uses a lot of time but I find that it's worth it. Especially because I haven't found a different way to create good 3D text (except for the website flamingtext, but there aren't many fonts there).
