"Don't miss your stop by falling asleep on the train alright?"

"Yes ma, stop worrying and go to work or you'll be late." You said and ushered her out the door.

Your mother had woken you up from your sleep to say goodbye before she left for work, and you headed straight back to bed when she was gone. You were enjoying your blissful sleep when there was a pounding on your door.

You say up and groaned in annoyance.

There's only one person who 'knocks' like that.

You opened the door in your half asleep state and rubbed your eyes tiredly. "What the fuck do you want Katsuki?"

He took in your appearance, sighing at your disheveled hair and creased clothes. "Your mom told me to drag your ass back to college." He grunted in response. "Hurry up or I'm leaving without you."

"Mkay, leave without me." You yawned and began closing the door when he suddenly kicked it back open.

"I said hurry the fuck up, big ugly."

"And I said go ahead without me." You sighed. "Let me sleep."

"Sleep on the train."

"No, you're gonna be too loud."

He scoffed. "Like I'd wanna talk to you."

You rolled your eyes and turned around to head back in, but Bakugou's fingers wrapped around your wrist and dragged you out the door. "Oi wait! I was just gonna get my stuff!" You protested.

"If you take more than 10 minutes I won't let you sleep in peace for the next week." He threatened before releasing your hand from his grasp.

Panicking about your sleep that could potentially be lost because of an angry Pomeranian, you rushed around the house and grabbed your essentials, shoving a few cereal bars into your bag on your way out before you locked the door behind you.

Bakugou didn't say anything and angrily walked ahead. You'd think the ground had wronged him somehow with the way he was stomping all over it, but hey, who were you to judge?

True to his word, he really didn't speak to you throughout the whole train ride and let you sleep in peace. He kicked your shin to wake you up when you'd reached the station near your college and you hopped off the train, groggily rubbing your eyes.

"Do you ever sleep?" He sighed.

"Aww, is someone worried?"

Bakugou stared at you blankly before picking up his pace and leaving you behind. "Oi! It's rude to ignore people." You mumbled and sped up to catch up to him.

Bakugou's speed walking resulted in you reaching campus in no time, much to your disappointment. You wished you had more time to spend with him, but you weren't sure how to go about that.

"Hey, Katsuki?"

"The fuck you want?"

"Wanna grab lunch with me tomorrow?" You suggested, trying your best to come across as casual.

"No." He replied without missing a beat.

"Ouch. Okay, never mind."

"I'm busy. Do dinner instead."

You cracked a smile. "Deal."

And so you waited outside your designated spot, all dressed up and ready. You had spent a whole hour with Mina going through each item in your wardrobe trying to piece together a somewhat presentable outfit until you had settled on something to wear. You had to admit, your clothes did look pretty good.

Now if only Katsuki would say that.

You waited for a few minutes, and then some more, and after that, you waited even longer. Your grip on your bag tightened, your eagerness slowly becoming anxiousness.

What if he's not gonna show up? He might just ditch me and—

Your phone began ringing, and frantically, you pulled it out. It was a call from Mina, and you quickly accepted and brought the phone to your ear.

"Y/n, you're supposed to be meeting up with Bakugou right?"

"Mhm. He hasn't showed up yet though." You told her.

"I suggest you stop waiting, I think he forgot about meeting up. I was hanging out with Kirishima and Bakugou just came into the dorm with takeout, and he wasn't dressed like he was heading out."

"Oh." You felt a pang of disappointment in your chest, but did your best to ignore it. "Thanks for telling me Mina, I owe you."

"Nah, just let me at h—"

"Hello? Mina you okay there?"

"Fuck, big ugly I forgot we were meant to meet up. Shitty hair forced me to have takeout with him so how about another da—"

You sighed. You weren't exactly prepared to speak to him but it's not like you had much of a choice now. Unless you hung up, but you weren't feeling very petty at the moment. Just, disappointed. Upset. Frustrated.

"It's okay, Katsuki. Don't sweat it."

"Are you su—"

"I'm really hungry so I'm gonna grab some dinner. I'll talk to you later!" You blurted and hung up the phone.

You slumped your shoulders and ran a hand through your hair. "I got all dressed up for nothing."

You couldn't even bring yourself to cry. You weren't that attached to him. It's not like you had high hopes for today anyway, you knew Bakugou hadn't considered this a date, but you weren't expecting him to completely forget about it.

You didn't have much of an appetite, so you began to head home before it got too dark. The weather didn't feel like being kind to you, and before you knew it, it was raining heavily.

Your common sense told you to put your hood up but your inner emo sadass told you to get soaked in the rain and just wallow in unhappiness for a while. And that's what you did, you walked towards your campus without bothering to zip up your fleeced hoodie or cover your head.

You were startled when someone stepped in front of you and pulled your hood up in your stead. "Leave your hood on or you'll catch a cold." He scolded.

"Todoroki?"

"Why are you sad?" He asked you.

"I got stood up." You shrugged.

"Then come with me."

You looked up at him, dumbfounded. "What?"

"You're here alone and I'm here alone. We can be alone together."

You cracked a grin. "I think you're missing the whole point of being alone, Todoroki."

"Is that a yes?"

"Are you asking me out on a date, Mr. Billionaire?" You teased.

"Would that cheer you up?"

"Hm, probably."

"Then yes." He agreed.

"Alright Todoroki Shoto," you smiled, "I look forward to what you have to offer on this 'date'."

You knew he was only doing this to make you feel better, but even if this was out of pity, you couldn't help feel touched. The rich boy, you realised, was actually quite a softie.
