You entered the house without making much noise and grabbed a towel and tossed it at Kageyama.

He muttered a "Thanks" and dried himself up, and he refused to stay long. You gave him an umbrella but he wouldn't even accept that. "I'm already drenched, I'll just shower when I'm home. Sweet dreams, (f/n)." He said before scurrying out the door.

"Sleep well, Tobio." You whispered to his retreating figure outside your window.

Woah I just realised that boy has a nice butt.

You realised what you'd just thought and slapped yourself.

Snap out of it (f/n). A lot of guys have nice butts.

You took a quick shower, and put all your wet clothes for washing before changing into some comfortable clothing.
You checked the time and it was a little past midnight.

Huh. Maybe your 'quick' shower wasn't as quick as you thought, since you'd went in about an hour ago.

You went to the kitchen and grabbed yourself a few midnight snacks before sitting down at your study table, beginning your homework that you hadn't been able to do since you were out all day. You couldn't slack off in class.

You rushed a little though, wanting to get a good bit of sleep before school began the next day.

The next morning, you looked exhausted and you had a blocked nose and a runny nose. Luckily, that's all it was. No fever or anything. You thanked your lucky stars and got dressed for school.

Your face lit up when your eyes landed on Kageyama. "Tobio! Good morning."

"Ah, hey (f/n)." He greeted. "You caught a cold I see."

Your nose was red from the amount of times you'd tried blowing your nose but it was no use. "No regrets! You joined me in the rain afterall~"

"Only because I didn't want you to look like a loner, playing in the rain by yourself." He shrugged. You raised an eyebrow at him. "Okay maybe I found it fun too."

"You little tsun tsun." You mumbled shaking your head resulting in Kageyama chopping your head. "Ouch! That hurts, you tree!" You exclaimed and jumped multiple times to try hit his head, but to no avail.

You got pretty close one time, and he took your hand and intertwined your finger with his. "That'll keep you from abusing me for a while." He huffed and continued walking, dragging you along.

You slapped his the hand he was holding yours with playfully, but you were internally screaming.

The boy you had a crush on was holding your hand and you didn't know what to do. Other than turn into a tsundere of course. But you realised how stupid this was, and it's not like you were actively hiding your crush on him from anyone.

Instead, you smiled and skipped alongside him, no longer hiding your good mood.

"Your mood swings are so confusing." He muttered and you only laughed.

"If only you knew."

Once again, you were at volleyball practice, helping out the team.

"(F/n)! Do you mind-" Daichi was pointing in the direction of a dejected Tanaka who was getting annoyed that Tsukishima managed to block him continuously.

You nodded and headed in his direction. "Tanaka, Kiyoko senpai told me she thinks you look really cool when you burst right through a block!" His ears perked up and you knew you were headed in the right direction. "She's just too shy to say it, so don't tell her I told you, but now you know how to shine." You winked at him and returned to your seat on the bench, holding a thumbs up in Daichi's direction.

You saw Daichi slump in relief and Tanaka immediately rip his shirt off, all fired up for the next spike. "BRING IT ON!" He yelled and you nodded at Kageyama to assure him it was safe to toss to Tanaka. You felt soft hands cover your eyes but you could hear the ground almost shake as Tanaka got a spike through.

"It's okay, Suga! I'm used to Tanaka being shirtless by now, he's not a weirdo just a dork." You smiled at your senpai while prying his hand off your face.

He nodded hesitantly, still a little unsure about exposing your innocent eyes to Tanaka's boldness but you took the his opportunity to run right up to Tanaka and high five him. "THAT WAS SO COOL TANAKA!"

"IT'S ALL THANKS TO YOU (F/N)!" He yelled and you both grinned. You turned to Tsukishima to apologise about riling Tanaka up too much but he looked quite amused.

"You're not too bad at getting our spirits up, for someone so new. You're more capable than you let on." You cocked an eyebrow up at his compliment, knowing he was about to say something else in a minute but he walked away quietly.

"That was... it?" You asked yourself.

"You're sort of like me aren't you, (f/n)? Oh, minus the height of course."

This comment hit a nerve. "TSU-KI-SHI-MAAA!" You shrieked and charged after the lamp post and he merely dodged you when you were coming right at him at full speed.

His eyes widened when he realised he hadn't thought this through and you were about to run straight into a wall. And that's when you felt a strong grip on your hand, pulling you in the other direction and you found yourself crashing against Kageyama's chest instead of a wall.

"Thanks Tobio!" You smiled, unphased because you've had too many clumsy incidents to be shaken up by this. Without wasting a moment, you turned and chopped Tsukishima in the head. "Watch what you say about my height you pole!"

"Wow I'm surprised you could reach-"

"Get down to my level you giraffe!"

"(F/n)! Bench. Tsukishima! Practice." Daichi barked.

"Yes sir!" You saluted him and made your way to the bench but not before sticking your tongue out at Tsukishima.

"Thanks again, Tobio. I'd have a bruised head right now if it weren't for you." He only flicked your forehead before heading back to practice. "Guess I'll have a bruised head either way." You muttered, rubbing your forehead with a sour expression.

"(F/n)! This one's for you!" Nishinoya yelled and did a rolling receive, but messed up horrible.

"Really, Noya? That ones for me?" You teased and he was apologising for messing up his receive.

"Don't mind don't mind! I think it's cute that you tried it for me." You smiled. "You'll get the next one for sure! Go again!" You cheered for him.

Practice went by quite quickly and you interacted with all the club members. "Woah Asahi, that last spike was so cool!" He flashed you a grateful smile and you relaxed. He'd finally calmed down around you.

Yamaguchi helped you to put away the nets being the kind soul he was and coach wrapped up for the evening.

"Wait, Coach! Can I add something?" You requested and he nodded.

"My grandma wants to meet you all, and since Christmas is right around the corner I was wondering if you guys wanted to come to my house for dinner on Christmas eve."

Coach Ukai couldn't make it since he was going to be with his grandpa and Takeda sensei also had something going on.

The rest of them said they could make it and you smiled. "Great. Thanks guys! I'll see you at tomorrow's practice!"

"Thanks for inviting us to free food (f/n)!" Nishinoya beamed.

"Anything for you guys!" You grinned and left for home with Kageyama.

Things were going well.
