ROSE FELT LIKE A BRAND NEW WOMAN. Boy did Rico know how to hit the spot, she thought. Everyone in Woodsboro knew that she was a sex machine in the woman's population, but for the mens she would nominate him for number 1.

After leaving his house, Rose went straight home. Making it there at 5:45 she hopped in the shower to wash off the hot stench of sex.

After about 25 minutes she got out and put on her nightwear since she was going to stay in and she wanted to be comfortable.

Hopping in her bed, she soon got a phone call.

Picking up the ringing phone she saw Sidney's caller ID and answered it accordingly.

"Sup Sid." She greeted.

"Hey Rosie, I was just calling to ask you if you wanted to sleep over at Tate's house?" she asked, calmly.

Rose hummed for a second then shrugged her shoulders, "Sure why not, I don't have anything else to do tonight." She agreed.

"Alright, Tate said she gets off of practice at 7:00 so you can meet us over there, okay." She chirped.

"That's fine, I'll see you later Sid. Take it easy." She said, ending the call.

Not even 10 minutes had passed when Rose got another phone call, looking at the caller id screen, the call was shown to be unknown.

Did it stop her from answering it โ€” no, but she was going to make a joke out of it.

"Hello," she answered seductively.

"Hello, who is this?" the deep voice asked.

"You've reached pleasure hotline, where we satisfy your every need." she answered.

The was a moment of silence over the phone, then the deep gravely voice came back.

"My, my what naughty girl we have here. I was hoping to speak to Rose tonight."

"That can be arranged," she played.

"Good, because I would like to know how it was at Rodric's house this afternoon." the voice questioned, with a dash of hate in his voice.

"If you ask me, I'd say he did very well, but my question is, why do you want to know." she asked in her normal voice, as she stopped joking around.

"Ahh, there she is, my beautiful Rose. Would you be upset if your poor Rodric were to turn up dead tonight." He taunted, trying to scare the poor girl.

"If I'm being quite honest, no I wouldn't be upset." She answered truthfully, not emotion found in her voice as if it was almost robotic.

It stunned the unknown caller for a minute, because he thought the girl would have shown some type of remorse.

"You wouldn't care if I were to gut him like a pig." The caller asked, even more curious.

"If you were native to this town, then you would know I have a tendency not to care about thing or anyone."

"Well, aren't you a rare breed. Poor Rosie can't seem to care about anyone." The caller sighed.

It didn't shocker her that the unknown caller knew her name, everybody in Woodsboro did but what did catch her off guard was that he knew her nickname that only a couple of people used.

Though she didn't let it show that she was now alert and listening attentively, she continued on her conversation with the unknown caller.

"Tell me dear Rose, where did you get that delicious purple night slip your wearing."

Rose looked down at her night gown and saw it was exactly what she was wearing right now. Though it didn't startle her as much as the caller thought it would.

"I got it from my dresser, why do you want one?" She teased.

The caller chuckled, "You're a funny girl, Rosie and very easy to talk to, so I'm going to ask you a question, okay?"

"You just did, but sure, be my guest."

"What's your favorite scary movie?"

"I'm going to have to go with "Psycho" with Anthony Perkins, because what he said was true." she answered.

"Hmm, and what's that?"

"We all go a little mad sometimes" it's a very well versed line, because we all have a breaking point, and it's just a matter of when."

"And when's your breaking point?"

"Whose to say I haven't already broke it." She countered.

The unknown caller laughed, "I like you. You seem more realistic then some people."

"That's because people like to see colors, but I like plain old black and white and maybe a hint of grey."

"The world needs more people like you."

"I don't think so, I like being the original, but thanks for the complement."

"You are ever so welcome," he praised.

"Now let me ask you a question."

"What question do you have for me." He asked, acceptingly.

"Was Casey and Steve your first kill." She asked.

"What makes you think I killed them?"

"Call it a gut feeling." She simply put it.

"Let's just say, Steve and Casey sure had a gut feeling right before they died and it was painful."

"That's all I needed to know."

"You don't seem scared, that I confessed to gutting your classmates, why?"

"Because I don't care, as I stated before. I just simply don't care."

"Well, my darling Rose you have a wonderful night, and don't let any ghost bite."

Rose laughed lightly, then hummed and hung up the phone.

As she put the phone back on it's hook she noticed 40 minutes had passed by while she was talking to the unknown stranger.

She needed to pack her things to spend the night at Tatum's house.

Going in her closet she packed some clothes to wear to school tomorrow and some shoes to match along with it.

She packed her essentials and piercing cleaner with deodorant and her jewelry and was about to set foot out side her room when she got another phone call.

This time the caller id showed Tatum's number.

"Hello Tatie โ€” Waite, what can I do for you at this time?"

"Get over to Sidney's house quick Billy is being arrested!" She screeched over the phone, causing Rose's eyebrows to furrow.

Rose didn't question anything she just said, "I'm on my way."

Grabbing a coat to put over her night slip and slim robe, she put on some white flats and ran down the stairs, hopping in her car and drove down the street to her friend Sidney's house to see why her other friend Billy Loomis was being arrested.

Less than 2 minutes Rose was arriving in the Prescott's drive and saw police vehicles flooding the scene.

Turning off her car, she raced up to see Billy being hauled over to a police vehicle with his hands behind his back.

She head him call out Sidney's name, then saw his eyes track to where she stood.

Raising her brows she gave him a look and she swore she saw him smirk before the deputies closed the door, putting him inside.

Rose knew she had to comfort Sidney, but she also knew that Tatum would be there in seconds. So she decided to talk to the accused โ€” Billy, to see what the hell was going on.

Walking up to the police cab, she was stopped by a deputy.

"Ma'am, I'm going to have to ask you to leave."

Seeing as she really didn't feel emotional at all, she had to fake some emotion.

"Please, let me talk to him. He's my friend I just want to know what happened, that's all." She cried.

"Please."

The deputy huffed, but nodded his head and moved to the side. "Only a few minutes."

She nodded her head to him, "Thank you."

As the deputy walked away, Rose opened the door to talk to the so called suspect.

"What the hell did you do now?" She scowled looking at the brown haired boy.

"You know you could be an actress with that performance you just put on." He joked, causing Rose to hit him upside the head for a change.

"Ow." He howled.

"Yeah, you deserved that you ass, but seriously what did you do now Billy?" She asked point blank.

He wanted to tell her that Sidney was gonna get what was coming for her, but he just settled with "Nothing, I just came at the wrong time and I guess I scared her."

Rose didn't believe his lie for one second because she saw his left eyebrow twitch slightly, that was always his tell โ€” tell sign.

She just hummed, "If you really are as innocent as you say you are then you'll be released in the morning, I should know." She smirked, causing him to slightly smirk back at her.

Then he looked her up and down taking in what she was wearing, "We didn't wake you. Did we?" He asked raising a brow.

Knowing he was talking about her nightwear she answered, "I wouldn't have came, if I was asleep." She said coldly, and Billy heartily laughed.

Soon the same deputy came back and told her that it was time for her to depart so he could take the young man to the station, and Rose thanked him again and went over to Sidney just when Tatum pulled up.

"Oh shit, Sidney." Tatum shouted running toward the ambulance Sidney sat in the back of and Rose joined.

"I'm so sorry I was late, are you alright?" She asked, while Rose moved to the side of Sidney that wasn't occupied and hugged her.

"Tatum you can't be here, this is an official crime." Dewey stated, up keeping his job stature.

"It's okay," Sidney quietly assured.

Tatum huffed, "Dad's out of town alright, she and Rose are staying with us tonight."

"Does mom know?" Dewey asked.

"Yes doofus."

"Don't worry Dewey, we'll be on our best behaviors." Rose smirked knowing, she made the slightly older man nervous.

Dewey just shyly smiled, while Tatum rolled her eyes and lightly pushed her friend for flirting with her brother.

As Tatum walked Sidney to the police vehicle to be transported to the station, Rose stayed behind to see what the police had found.

Dewey was so busy explaining to the sheriff that they had found a costume, that neither him or the other workers noticed Rose listening in intensively.

She saw what the costume was and knew whose it was because she was with them when they purchased it over 2 months ago, but she wasn't going to speak up because it wasn't any of her business.

Walking back to her car to meet Sidney at the station she saw Gale Weather's news reporter van pull up to the scene.

Running to the leaving vehicle Gale tried to see if it was Sidney in the back, then she saw the two friends of the Prescott girl walking to their cars.

"Excuse me, was that Sidney Prescott they took away?" She questioned.

"I'm not talking to you." Tatum said, trying to get away from the woman.

"What happened to her?"

"None of your damn business." Tatum said, getting to her car.

"The same thing that's going to happen to you if you don't leave well enough alone." Rose said, straight faced, colder than ever.

"I heard something about a costume, is that true?"

She didn't receive an answer.

"Can you tell me anything?" She begged

"Yeah, you're a real pain in the ass. Leave us alone." Tatum said, driving away.

Gale huffed and turned around but was soon met by Rose standing in her way.

Putting on an award winning smile she asked, "Can you tell me anything?" She hoped.

"Yeah." Rose nodded, with a tight lipped smile.

Gale got even happier thinking she was finally going to get the inside scoop. "Alright," she smiled.

"Do you want to live Gale?" Rose asked, looking the woman directly in the eye.

Gale just frowned, "If you don't find another story to broadcast you won't be living very long." Rose threatened, then smiled creepily.

"Taโ€”ta," she sashayed away to her car.

Leaving a slightly spoked Gale and a confused cameraman since he had just gotten to Gale with his camera.

From this point on, there were going to be longer days ahead, but was Sidney Prescott ready for that?
