SIDNEY WAS NOW BEING QUESTIONED BY THE POLICE ON WHAT HAPPENED TONIGHT. And what was Rose doing, she was glaring a Billy through the window of the Sheriff's office, where he was being questioned.

If he was the towns murder, how could he be so careless as to getting caught, with his own phone dropping out of his pants pocket. No there was something else going on here.

She didn't have a care in the world if Billy did it or not, she just wanted to know why he got caught so easily if he did do it.

Though she was still racking up clues in her head, to who it could be terrorizing Woodsboro California, because the town was small and boring so it had to have been a kid doing it.

She just narrowed it down to a few suspects her comrades, friends of you will.

Did she care that she was suspecting them โ€” no, was she going to plain out question them โ€” no. Why because she didn't care.

I mean she should care that her classmates were murdered or the fact that they are seemingly going after Sidney next, but she just didn't give a shit.

If they were gonna kill, then just do it and move on to the next victim, she thought.

Yes, most people would say that she's insensitive but who was she to care about their opinions โ€” though they were true.

It would be her insensitivity that keep her alive.

The sheriff seemed to be laying one on Billy, because Rose saw him peering through the window at Sidney, but she noticed that his sad face didn't reach his eyes.

Anyone else would think he looked like a wounded puppy, but to Rose โ€” hell no.

Growing up with Billy she knew all of his facial expressions, all his ticks, all his likes and dislikes and she knew in that moment Billy was guilty of something.

As Billy was peering out the window at Sidney, he eye caught Rose glaring at him through the window.

What surprised him was that instead of frowning at him, she shot him a wink along with a sly smirk instead.

And that's when he knew she knew something, maybe not about him killing somebody but he knew she sure knew something, and he wasn't mad at it.

Because if anyone could see through him it was Rose.

After their momentary glance, he was then dragged out of the sheriff office into holding.

"Sidney. Sidney come on you know me. Sidney look at me! Come on!" He cried, and that just made Rose chuckle knowing it was all a performance.

She then put her act together, and went over to comfort her friend.

"It's okay, Sid." Rose comforted.

"Yeah, I'm going a get you out of here, okay." Tatum added.

While Tatum was still comforting Sidney, Rose was listening in on the sheriff's and Dewey's conversation.

"That ghost mask is sold at both Kroger's and Walmart. Neither of which keep purchase records." Dewey informed the sheriff.

"What about that cellular phone bill?"

"They're pulling Loomis' account. But it'll be morning before we see something. You think he did it?" Dewey hesitantly asked.

"Twenty years ago I woulda said not a chance. But these kids today..." the sheriff began to say as he looked in the direction of where Rose was standing.

"Damn if I know." he finished.

Getting impatient with the waiting Tatum decide to interrupt the conversation between the sheriff and her brother.

"Hey Dewey,ย  an we go know?"

"Hold on a second." Dewey asked, holding up a one minutes finger.

"God dammit, Dewey." Tatum huffed.

"What did momma tell ya, when I wear this badge you treat me like a man of the law."

"I'm sorry Deputy Dewey boy, but we're ready to go now, okay!" Tatum demanded, grabbing her purse of the desk.

Making Rose smile at the two siblings antics.

Leaving Sidney, Tatum and Rose were about to go out the front door when the sheriff stopped them, "Take them out the back way to avoid that circus."

And they headed the direction the sheriff told them to, but before Rose left she made sure to give the sheriff and cold glare.

And they both knew why Rose gave him that glare.

Heading out the back door, the three friends plus Dewey almost made it home free, but Dewey had to go bring the car around first.

"Don't move, don't make a sound." He pleaded, running off.

"There she is, Sidney!" Gale Weathers shouted, catching all the girls' attentions.

"Hi, some night that happened. Are you alright?" Gale asked, putting on her concerned persona, while shoving a microphone in Sidney's face.

"She not answering any questions, alright just leave us alone." Tatum said, pushing the microphone out of the way.

"Nah,no Tatum it's okay she's just doing her job right, Gale?" Sidney asked, stepping up.

"Yes that's right."

"So how's the book?"

"It'll be out later this year." Gale stated matter-of-factly.

"I'll look for it." Sidney said, turning around to leave.

But Rose knew Gale was going to say something else because she knew that lady had to have the last laugh.

So she stepped in front of Sidney, making sure to push her and Tatum back before winding up her arm.

"I'll send you a copy." Gale smart mouthed back.

And Rose right hooked her, sending the news reporter flying back into the crowd, with a smile on her face.

"I told you to find another story Gale, you should've listened." She called out, leaving the scene.

Both Tatum and Sidney knew that hook had to hurt because Rose took up boxing every Tuesday and Wednesday.

At the Riley house, Sidney and Rose were in Tatum's room.

"God, I loved it. I'll send you a copy. Bam! bitch went down." Tatum replayed.

"I'll send you a copy. Bam, Rose super-bitch. You are so cool." the blonde cheered, making the long haired brunette smile.

Dewey then entered the room, "Thought you might want some ice for that right hook." He said tossing her the bag.

"Thanks Dewster."

"I'll be right next door, you guys. Try and get some sleep." Dewey said exiting the room.

"Yeah, yeah." Tatum waved to her brother.

After her brother closed the door Tatum asked, "Do you really think Billy did it?"

"He was there Tatum." Sidney responded.

Rose just kept quite about the whole situation.

"He was destined to have a flaw, I knew he was to perfect." Tatum joked, trying to lighten the mood.

Then came a knock on her bedroom door, and her mother entered.

"Telephone honey." Her mother stated.

"Who is it?" Tatum asked.

"For Sid." She answered, causing Sidney to roll over.

"My dad?" She hoped.

"I don't think so."

"Take a message," Tatum suggested lying down beside, Rose.

"No I'll get it." Sidney said, leaving the room.

"How's she doing?" Tatum's mom asked, as the girl left.

Both Tatum and Rose just shrugged their shoulders.

Then they heard Sidney shout "NO!" and raced to see what was going on, though if Rose could guess she'd say it was the same person who tried to scare her earlier on the phone.

"Leave me alone." they heard Sid shout through the phone.

"Who are you?" She asked.

But Tatum encouraged her to hang up the phone, while Rose just stood there watching the whole scene happen.

The phone call then ended seemingly as Sid hung up the phone, with tears spilling down her face.

Dewey then came out of his room, later than expected with gun in hand.

"What?" He questioned, looking around.

"What?" Tatum mocked her brother, seeing as he was too late.

"Better luck next time Dewster." Rose said, patting his back before entering Tatum's room.
