EPISODE 7

Y/n's POV

I looked over to see Jotaro looking suspicious at the boat. Before I could as Joseph beat me to it

"Jotaro, what are you concerned about? Do you think there might be another stand on this freighter, too?" Joseph asks

"No, I was just wondering why no one's shown themselves, even though the ramp is down" Jotaro says

He's right, no one has come to greet us

Polnareff got off first

"They came this far to rescue us! There has to be someone aboard! Even if they're all stand users, I'm getting on this boat" Polnareff says. We all got onto the boat. We all walked to the control room and oddly enough no one was in there

"Wh-What's with this boat?! There's no captain in the pilothouse! There's no operator in the radio room. There's no one anywhere! And yet, look! All the meters and machines are working properly" Joseph says

"Maybe they're all in the bathroom with a bad case ir diarrhea" Polnareff says

"Hey! Isn't anyone around?" Joseph asks. The little girl points to a door

"Everyone, come over here!" She says. We all walk in to see an orangutan

"A monkey!" She says

"An orangutan" Kakyoin corrects her

"Who cares about a monkey?! Let's split up and find whoever been feeding it" Joseph says. We all begin walking out. I was behind the little girl. She suddenly turned around and peeked out from my leg to see the monkey. She looked uneasy

"Is everything alright?" I ask. She nods and moves along quicker. We walked to the deck to see the machine's hook moving

"Avdol! That sailor's in danger!" Joseph says. The hook then gets one of the guy's in the head. I quickly covered the girl's eyes and I looked away in disgust obviously not expecting it.

"Good grief. A welcome like this is a bit much for a girl" Jotaro says

"B-But no one was touching it" A sailor said

"Be careful! There's someone here. Hey! Don't touch any of the machinery. If it moves or runs on electricity, don't lay a finger on it! If you want to live, follow my orders. Don't leave the cabin down below until we say it's okay!" Joseph says. The girl begins walking off down to the cabin

"Miss Y/n, you should go with the girl. I'm sure she probably wouldn't feel comfortable being by herself" Avdol says. I nod and walk beside her. We were going inside the door when she suddenly stopped and stared at the five men. Joseph then walked over and crouched beside her

"I have just one bit of truth for you. We are on your side. Make sure you stay with Y/n. Got it?" He asks

"Okay" She says. She then runs inside so I follow along. We walked down a hallway and then back into the control room

"So what's your name?" I ask her

"Anne" She says

"That's a pretty name" I say

"Thanks" She says. She opens the door that leads to the orangutan. Its got its hands on the bar as if asking to be let out. Anne walks closer. It points to the lock and bangs on it lightly.

"You want me to open the cage? I can't. I don't know where the key is, and you're so big" She says. It then holds out a sliced apple. I stared suspiciously at the animal

"You're giving me an apple? But it doesn't make sense, this apple's been cut with a knife, and the color hasn't changed yet. It was just cut" Anne says. She then kneels. I put my hand on her head as I glare at the animal knowing something is off

"Hey, so there is someone somewhere on this boat, right? Do you know where the person who feeds you is?  She asks. The orangutan then lights a match. I grab her hands and pull her back a little

"This isn't safe" I mutter. The animal them lights a cigarette.

"Y-You're a pretty smart monkey, aren't you?" She asks. The animal then pulls out a play boy magazine. That's when I really feel off. I grip Anne's hand a little tighter as the animal begins looking at the women.

"Disgusting" I mutter

"Is a monkey like you actually into looking at pinups of human girls?" Anne asks. He then gives Anne a look filled with lust which instantly makes me push her behind me. The door opens and we turn.

"Hey, be careful!" A sailor says

"They say an orangutan has five times the strength of a human, so it could easily rip off your arm" Another says.

"We should go with them" I say as put my arm on her shoulder and lead her away. As we're walking I turn my head to look at the animal and I give it a harsh glare. We all went to the control room. Me and Anne stood outside, while all the sailors tried working the ship

"Well?" One asked

"I-It's no use. I can't get a connection" Another says

"Well, try one more time!" The one says. That's when I noticed Anne smelling herself

"Why don't we see if there are some showers" I say

"I hope there are, I'm all sticky from the salt water" She says. We then managed to find showers. Both of us hopped into a different stall and began washing ourselves

Ahh this feels nice. Honestly I've been pretty stressed. My anxiety has been through the roof since the whole Dark Blue Moonthing. I finally have a moment to think. I really thought Jotaro was going to die, I was so scare- wait why am I scared? It's not like I'm close with him. I've known him for what two weeks max? We're basically acquaintances, sure I enjoy being around him but that's how friends are?

I heard Anne humming which made me smile

You know.. Jotaro is kind of cute, I mean under all of that tough guy stuff. He doesn't show it often but he really does care. He's just awkward about it. Stop thinking like that! We're here trying to save his mom!

I continued washing myself. That's when I heard the shower curtain suddenly open

"Anne?" I ask

"Y-Y/n! The monkey!" She says scared. I quickly wrap a towel around myself and rush out to see the orangutan staring at Anne.

Disgusting animal

"Hey over here. Anne get dressed and go find Joseph" I say trying to get its attention. It looks at me and begins walking towards me. Anne puts on her clothes and then dashes out. I continue backing away from the animal as it stalks closer. It begins pointing at my outline. It gets closer and begins sniffing me. I take that opportunity to poke it in the eyes and dash away from it. I then run into something firm and hit the ground. I look up to see Jotaro

"Where's Anne?" I ask

"I saw her run un she told me you were still in here" He says staring straight at the animal. He then walks towards the animal and I take the opportunity to get into one of the stalls and quickly change into one of my clothes

"Hey!" Jotaro says. I then hear something bash against metal. The animal squeals in pain. I finished putting my clothes on and opened the shower curtain.

"Here's your lock!" Jotaro says. He then throws the lock at the animal. It grabs his collar

"This ape, is no ordinary ape. Could it be that he's the stand user?" Jotaro asks himself. The animal goes to kick Jotaro but Star Platinum blocks it. I then see the fan go loose. I cover Jotaro's back and pull out my stand Only You. I make a shield and the fan hits the shield

"Thanks" He mutters

"Just getting even" I say

"This ape has to be the stand user, but where's the stand?" Jotaro asks

"Imagine if it was the entire boat" I say joking and then we both understand

"It's actually the boat isn't it?" I ask. We watch the ape sink into the wall. The whole boat began to shake. Metal pipes began moving and wrapped around me and Jotaro. We were both yanked to opposite walls. Neither of us could move. The monkey came back now in a captain's uniform. It was smoking a pipe. It showed Jotaro a dictionary

"Strength" Jotaro says

"So you are a stand user" I say as I feel the pressure get stronger. It began playing witha rubic's cube. I saw Star Platinum break a pipe. But then two more came out of the wall. The ape began laughing at Jotaro

What do we do?

The ape solved the rubic's cube and then smashed it to pieces. The ape then looked at me and I cringed

"No no" I say. It licks its lip and I felt I was going to vomit. Then something had hit it on the head. The ape turned back to Jotaro

"That button's not part of your stand" Jotaro says. It picked up the button and looked ticked off

"You mad? I guess it wounded your pride, since you thought you'd already won. No, it's not hurt, because apes don't have any pride!" Jotaro says. The ape begins yelling in anger. It goes to jump on Jotaro

"That's exactly what makes you an ape. What's going to hurt, is your head!" Jotaro says. Star Platinum uses Star Finger and flicks the button to the ape's forehead. The animal began squealing in pain as blood dripped on the floor. We both were able to break free. Jotaro walked towards the ape.

"Good grief" Jotaro says. The ape opens it shirt as a sign of defeat

"I've heard that, when frightened, animals show their stomachs to signal that they're giving up. So you're asking me to forgive you?" Jotaro asks as he places his hand on his hat. The ape nods

"But you've already broken the rules of being an animal. So I don't think so" Jotaro says. Star Platinum then begins punching the ape repeatedly. The boat began shaking again. I lost balance and Jotaro had grabbed my hand to stop me from falling

"It's distorting" Jotaro says

"We should get out of here" I say

~Time Skip~

We were all on a small boat. We watched the big one sink

"I-I can't believe it. The ship's shape is changing. It's turning into such a shoddy little boat" Anne says as she sits in my lap

"Unbelievable. So that monkey used its own stand to get this far into the ocean. What terrifying power. That was the first time I've encountered such energy" Avdol says as I began running my fingers through Anne's hair

"We were completely overwhelmed. If Jotaro hadn't figured it out, we would've been done for" Joseph says

"Y/n was the one who figured it out" Jotaro says

"I was joking" I say. Kakyoin and Avdol sweat drop. Kakyoin began combing his hair and Jotaro lit a cigarette.

"Are we going to encounter even more stands with unknown powers from now on?" Joseph asks. Polnareff holds out some gum

"Want some gum?" Polnareff asks

"So we're going to be drifting again" Avdol says

"Good grief. My cigarettes are soaked" Jotaro complains

"There'll be plenty of sun and time for them to get dry, JoJo" Polnareff says

"We'll just have to pray that we get rescued and reach Singapore safely" Joseph says

"It's been four days since we left Japan" Kakyoin says

"You know I never told my parents I left" I say. Jotaro shakes his head and pulls his hat down
