...Sunday Morning...

Two friends were on call...

"Hey what happened yesterday???" Jimin asked with curiosity

"Umm...
And then I explained all the events
one by one, deliberately skipping all the part of the panic scenes .. I didn't want her weakness to be known .. I know .. I could tell him .. but I just wanted it to be with myself.

Then he started to give his view on it .. but while he was talking I was in my own world .

Mentally thinking about yesterday's events bickering, panic , how tightly she hugged me .. the moment we shared .. I know it was a nightmare for her.. and it still worries me about her ... but it was one my best moment with her ..

One thing amazes me from when I became such a good comforter .. I am really surprised by my own words😅🥹

"Do You understand Taehyung?

-----No reply-----

Taehyung??? Taehyung Are you there ???"
...
...

While on the other hand ...

Opening my eyes .... It took me a second to recognise where I was .. I was in my bedroom ..
Huh?? Yesterday I was in the store room, darkness, Taehyung.. recalling what happened yesterday... Swiftly throwing the blanket off me...I ran down the stairs...

"Mom??....."

Coming down as soon as you mom saw you she asked
"Dear you woke up?? ... How are you now ??"

Slowly walking towards the seat and sitting on it...

"Umm yes mom .. I am better now.."

"Okay! I think you have been skipping meals a lot now-a-days, thatswhy you fainted yesterday. Now have your breakfast. I don't want you to skip any meals ..further!!" she said firmly

I just wander .. Fainted yesterday??? When did I skipped meals ...??? Did Taehyung tell something?? I thought to ask mom ...!

A moment of silence later ..

"Umm Mom??"

she hummed ..

"Yesterday who brought me home??"

"Ohh .. that boy who came to our house once .. , umm .. yeah .. Taehyung, he said .. that you fainted yesterday while working so nurse gave you some medicine and you slept .. you just noded while eating .. He said that it was advised to let you rest so he didn't wake you up instead with nurse permission he dropped you home..
How generous of him.!!"

"Ohh.." while thinking, I see he's a good story maker ....

...Evening time...

...Ring!!!...Ring!!!....

"Hey Jimin!!"

"Hey Buddy!..."

"Wanna meet up?"

"For what Taehyung?"

"Ouch!! I am hurt🥺.My friend needs a reason to meet me."(fake cry)

"Taehyung!!"

"Play cool, I just needed a small help in my homework so wanted a favour from you.."

"In that case, you can come to my house.."

"It will be boring ...let's meet up at Chocolate café at 4pm, I'll give u a treat in return, do come! Ok bye.." and with that Taehyung ended the call

"Aissh this boy. Can't he see it's raining outside..ahh.." Jimin groaned..

...At the cafe...

"Now where is this Jimin? Its been 30 minutes now..."
..
Closing the application on the laptop!
...
...

"Sir do you want to order something?" the waitress asked me ..(obviously because I have been sitting here for 35 mins without ordering anything..😓)

"Umm..Hot Chocolate pls." ☺️

"Ok Sir.." the waitress said and walked away

..After few minutes..

-----Taehyung's pov-----

I was enjoying my hot chocolate, while looking outside the window .

The sky was tar-black and the large clouds were moving with tapping on the window and slowly it became a pitter-patter. Inviting a street of colourful umbrellas to blossom while the clouds continued pouring out their beads of water.

There is something magical about rain...Oh, it's just pure bliss to me. There's this special feeling when the rain starts to fall, this cozy feeling of being indoors listening to the raindrops tapping on the window and roof. The world gets a refreshing shower. I love how everything looks greener and brighter afterward. I just love this season of rain.

Plus, there's something soothing about curling up with a cup of hot tea or hot food while watching movies, while the rain drums gently outside. It's just the best feeling ever.

I was in my thoughts when I noticed a girl at the corner of street with a blue umbrella, crouched down. She was feeding some homeless puppies there.
How sweet of her ... in this busy street she noticed them.. Looking at her, my eyes fall upon her wet back ...
I see in order to not make the puppies wet she slightly forwarded the umbrella towards them.

"Aww, such a kind person!!"

But her back is getting wet.

I felt an urge to help her, making me get up and take my umbrella... Eventually my steps took me towards her.

Coming closer to her, I noticed she was not any other girl but ....Y/N. I stood back making sure her back is now under my umbrella..

-----Y/N's pov-----

I was feeding the three lovely puppies that caged my eyes, while walking under this wetty weather. I tilted my umbrella towards them so that they don't get wet, but not realizing that in doing so my back was getting drown. I didn't care much .. because I can manage it but they won't be able to endure this... I feel ..like I should just take them ... with me.. they are so adorable 😍

But suddenly, I felt the rain drops stopped hitting my back and I immediately turned my head.. looking face to face at the person. Taehyung!

..

He smiled

"What are you doing here?" he said politely

"Umm..just feeding them.."

Taehyung crouched down beside me making sure his big red colour umbrella was protecting both of us from the beads of rain.

Seeing his action I smiled at him and kept my umbrella down protecting the puppies.

"They are so adorable.. Isn't it?" he said smiling while adoring them..

"Yeah!"

"Do you come daily here?" he asked

"Nope...I was just scrolling down the street when I noticed these puppies trying to protect themselves from the rain. So just wanted to help them."

"Ooh nice!!"

"What about you?"

"Me..yeah...I was just waiting for my friend at the café ..see there!"

"Ohh..Jimin right?"

"Yup ..he is my only best friend."

" I see you two are close to each other."

"Yup ...more than friends we are like brothers for each other."

"Hmm"

Both of them were looking at the playful puppies..who were so engaged in eating..

..After a moment of silence..

"Thank you Taehyung."

-----Taehyung's pov-----

At first I was shocked the girl who was bickering with me, angry with me .. God knows ... what cursing she had given to me.. that girl just said thank you to me. I know the reason but still I want to listen to her .. I know I sound crazy but what can I do after so much apologizing I can atleast enjoy this😅

"For what Y/N?" (acting innocent)

"Umm...for helping me out yesterday...when I was at pathetic condition...Till now, leaving my parents no one could console me like the way you did. As far I know, whenever I ended up in this situation I am far more worse than what I was yesterday and it was because of you. Moreover, you didn't tell the truth to my mother.. or she would have been really worried and I didn't want her .. since my fathe...
You were going to say but stopped and skipping it you continued

So, Thank you once again.☺️" She said humbly while glancing at me a few times ...

But it didn't go unnoticed from Taehyung... He understood that you hold something inside and this must not be the right time to bring up .. since you both were not so on good terms to share personal matters. Therefore, he replied ...

"Aww.. I am touched, I didn't knew you could talk so sweet...but anyways your most welcome miss Y/N☺️"
Lightening the mood ...

"And why is that?" Saying you looked at his face

"I'll answer to that but let's make a shelter for them .."

"Sure! Great idea!"

"Wait here I'll bring the required stuffs." he said

"Taehyung..wait take the umbRELLA.."

And he went without listening..

...After few minutes...

"Hey I got these ..hope this will help us", he said hoping it would work out

"Sure it will do. Now come under the umbrella...you are all wet!"

"No .. I'm not ..only little 😅 ...
Y/N ..do you know how to ..?" he asked hesitatently

"Yup!! When I was small I used to make doll house so ..I guess I can manage it" she replied enthusiastically
to his question

"Ohh!! Then let's start I'll also help you."

They both started making a small house from the cardboard box, with the help of cuter, stapler and plastic bags..

After sincerely working under this pouring weather of droplets ..Finally they finished their work and made a small cozy water proof house and kept it under the tree shade.

"Yay!! We did it" they both said in unison while doing a small high five..

They kept the puppies inside it with some food in that house.

Waving at the puppies they started walking.

"Aww their eyes are so captivating, I wish I could adopt them.." he said
While you nodded wishing that one day you will surely pet a dog..

"True!! Then adopt it!"

"I would have but my father is allergic to their hairs so.." he said sadly

"Don't be sad it's ok to take one, when you are able to.. By the way which breed dog you want?

"A Pomeranian!!"

" I hope you get one in near future ☺️"

"Hmm.."

"Oh you didn't reply to my question!" she exclaimed with curiosity

"Ohh yeah!!

Umm I was little shocked, by the way you talked to me that time, I thought you are arrogant..but you are not or maybe yes😁"

"Hey I am not!" while slightly slapping his arm

"Ouch..okay I get it .."

Then they walked together under their own umbrella, talking, laughing sometimes silence and sharing memories of school.. Taehyung was so engaged in it that when Y/N said they reached .. to her house ..

"Hmmm!!" Taehyung said with a look wished that we could talk more ..

Before going inside Y/N asked him to come inside ... But he denied since he told Jimin to meet up at the cafe ..
Bidding goodbye, she turned and was going inside when Taehyung called out ..

"Y/N ...."
She turned with a questioning look on her face

"...Can we be friends Y/N ??🙂" I said anticipating a positive response from her ...

Hearing the question Y/N was surprised her mind roamed around all the events, conversations... she had with Emily ...
"It might be a misunderstanding...", And yesterday's events... the way he comforted me, his gentleness...
Thinking for a while ... I hope this be misunderstanding and Taehyung has no hand in it ...

I looked at her ... She looked as if calculating something... I guess this was not the right time to ask ... Hence I was going to say ...

"It's Oka....

But I stopped when she said

"Sure I'll be more than happy to be🙂"

With that ... She said goodbye ...and entered the house..

I who just stood like statue there seeing her retreating figure ... Did She agree??

Coming to sense I jumped ...I looked at the sky ..
"Thank you God ..."

I looked down and started walking
scratching my nape .. blushing to myself.... "Friends" ..
"Yes !!!!!!"

But suddenly it struck me ...making me tense ...

"Shitttt !!!! my laptop!!! If it gets lost my mom will kill me !!"
