Finally, it was their time. They climbed into the spacious gondola, the door closing with a soft click. Taehyung, Y/N, Hana, and Lily settled in, the gentle sway of the gondola calming their nerves. The ride operator checked their safety bars, and with a nod, it began to rise.

The gondola rose slowly, giving them time to take in the view. As they climbed higher, the park below started to shrink, transforming into a vibrant, bustling miniature world. The sounds of the park softened, replaced by a peaceful quiet as they ascended further into the sky.

"This is amazing." Y/N said, her voice filled with wonder. She leaned back, enjoying the gentle sway and the cool breeze that brushed past them.

Lily, who was sitting beside Y/N, smiled, her eyes twinkling as she took in the sight.

"It feels like we're floating above." she said, pressing against the glass, her face alight with awe.
"Look! I can see everything!" she exclaimed, pointing out various attractions and landmarks. "There’s the roller coaster we went on, and over there is the cotton candy stand!"

Lily having Taehyung's phone in her hand, couldn't resist herself from capturing the moments.

Hana chuckled, her eyes following Lily’s enthusiastic gestures.
She exclaimed, "It's like we’re seeing the park from a whole new perspective."

As they reached the top of the Ferris wheel, it paused momentarily at the top, giving them a chance to fully absorb the stunning view. The entire amusement park spread out below them, a sea of colours and movements.

The serene moment was a stark contrast to the energetic buzz of the park below. The gentle breeze ruffled their hair, and the setting sun painted the sky in hues of orange, pink, and purple.

"Wow," Y/N breathed, her eyes fixed on the horizon.
"This view is incredible!"

Taehyung nodded, his gaze shifted from the person sitting in front of him to the outside.
"It’s like the world is at our feet."

Lily clung to Y/N, her eyes wide with wonder.
"Eonni, this is the best view ever. I feel like I can see the whole world from here."

Y/N smiled, wrapping an arm around Lily. "It’s pretty special, isn’t it? Moments like these make everything worthwhile.", while Lily nodded vigorously.

The Ferris wheel kept rotating slowly.

Y/N and Hana watched the scene from their gondola, their hearts warmed by the sight. "There's something so timeless about this Ferris wheel.",Y/N mused. "It's like stepping back into childhood, where everything is filled with wonder."

Hana nodded, her expression soft, remembering old days, "It’s a beautiful reminder that sometimes the simplest things can bring the most joy."

Both eyes glistened remembering their old days.

As they circled round, Y/N leaned back, closing her eyes for a moment and letting the cool breeze wash over her. The steady rhythm of the ride and the cheerful sounds created a soothing, almost meditative state. It was a brief escape from reality, a chance to simply exist in a moment of pure joy and calm.

Taehyung watched y/n with a mixture of admiration and affection. "This is what happiness looks like," he thought to himself, feeling a deep sense of contentment. For him the smile on y/n's face was making his heart fill with happiness.

When their gondola finally touched back down, they stepped out, a sense of calm and wonder still lingering around them. Lily’s eyes sparkled with joy, her smile brighter than ever. "That was amazing! Can we do it once again?" she asked, her excitement undimmed.

Taehyung laughed, ruffling her hair.
"Captain Lily, we'll do it next time, since it has already been late. Grandma would be worrying, and we won't want that. Right? "

Lily understood and didn't convince further and give in.

As they started walking, Y/N looked back at the Ferris wheel, a soft smile on her lips. "We’ll definitely come back to it. That was a ride worth repeating."

"Definitely.", Taehyung whispered, while looking down and smiling.

As the sky darkened and the first stars began to twinkle,
Walking back to the car, they chatted about their favorite parts of the day, their voices filled with tired but happy excitement. Lily, clutching her plush toys, yawned but kept smiling.

In the car, as they drove back home, the soft hum of the engine lulled Lily to sleep, her head resting on y/n's  shoulder. Y/N looked back at her, a fond smile on her face. "Today was perfect." she whispered.

Taehyung nodded, his eyes meeting hers in the rearview mirror. "Absolutely perfect."

The day had come to an end, but the memories they made would stay with them forever, a reminder of a day when everything felt just right, and the world was full of joy and magic.

...At night...

Freshening up and sulking on the bed, Y/N scrolled through the photos Taehyung had sent her. Each image was a snapshot of a cherished memory, a moment frozen in time.

As she swiped through them, a small smile began to play on her lips, thinking about the memories each photo held. As her finger slid over the screen, she paused at one photo and chuckled softly. It was a picture of Taehyung holding up a plush white baby bear, his eyes twinkling with triumph and mischief. He had successfully won that bear for her, an unexpected gesture that had filled her with warmth.

The bear, now nestled among her pillows, seemed to smile back at her, a silent companion in her solitude.

She looked at the plush white baby bear which Taehyung gave her as he won that toy. The memory of Taehyung’s grin and the joy in his eyes as he handed her the bear danced in her mind, a vivid recollection that softened the edges of her loneliness.

She smiled to herself, her heart being filled with warmth since this was the first time after her mom that someone gave her something without any reason to be precise.
She then thought about posting one of the photos, and got busy searching for the perfect one!

At Taehyung's place:

I was laying on my bed comfortably and was scrolling through y/n's Instagram posts. Each picture of hers brought a smile to my face, a warmth that seemed to chase away the tiredness.

One particular post stood out—it was a snapshot of her with her mother  while gardening. I would rather say that half of her posts were about flowers and gardening. She really loves flowers a lot. But what captivated me the most was a photo of her holding a sapling of a dahlia. She was smiling like a child with her eyes closed, pure joy radiating from her. There was a little smudge of mud on the right corner of her forehead, adding an extra layer of endearing imperfection. She looked so innocent, so full of life. I couldn't help myself and I took a screenshot of that picture, wanting to keep that moment of her happiness with me.

As I continued to scroll, I came across a post from her high school days. It was a typical group photo, the kind taken at school events where everyone tries to fit into the frame. However, something about this photo caught my eye. Y/n wasn’t looking at the camera. Instead, her eyes were focused on a boy who was half-sitting in front of the group.

My heart skipped a beat. Was he her high school crush or boyfriend? I wondered. There was an undeniable softness in her gaze, a kind of familiarity and longing that made me uneasy. Who was this boy to her?

Just as I was lost in thought, a notification popped up on my phone, telling me that y/n had just posted something new. My curiosity got the better of me, and I quickly tapped on the notification, eager to see what she had shared now.

I went and saw the post, and a broad smile marked my face. It was a picture from today.

-----Y/N's pov-----

I posted a group picture from our visit today, the vibrant colors and wide smiles captured perfectly in the frame. The moment the post was posted, The first one to like it was Taehyung. A chuckle escaped my mouth ... He is online!.
Moments later, a message from him popped up on my screen.

Taehyung: Hey!
Today was really an awesome day✨!!

Me: Yup! And the Ferris wheel was worth repeating.

Taehyung: Yes!!! And not to forget about the roller coaster!

Me: Umm... I enjoyed that too.

Taehyung: Btw, was it your first time riding that?

Me: Yes, because I was always scared to ride it. Don't know why, but that coaster terrified me. But I enjoyed it today.

Taehyung: Glad to hear that. 😊

Me: Thanks for the advice. Your pep talk really worked.

Taehyung: Haha, I knew my charm would do the trick! 😎

Me: Oh, so it was your charm, huh? Not the safety harness and secure engineering?

Taehyung: Well, those might have helped a bit, but mostly it was my charm. 😉

Me: Sure, let's go with that😂

Taehyung: Did you see the picture we took on the roller coaster? Your face was priceless! 😂

Me: Hey! I was genuinely terrified! You looked like you were having the time of your life.

Taehyung: Because I was. Especially watching you freak out. 😉

Me: So mean! But you were worse than me on that day inside the Principal's office.

And they continue having cute and funny conversations.

With a content feeling in her heart,   y/n went into her deep slumber Meanwhile, on the other hand, Taehyung was dancing while being laying on his bed, punching the air in triumph, grinning like a fool.

-----Taehyung's pov-----

I couldn't help but feel a rush of happiness. Our conversation was  replaying in my mind, and I couldn't stop smiling. Her laughter, her words, it all made my heart flutter. I started dancing, my excitement spilling over. I twirled and jumped.

It was so cool to talk with her through texting. I was sleeplishly smiling, feeling like a giddy teenager. Smiling to myself, I opened my gallery to browse through the moments of today's adventures.

It was a great day. Everyone looked so happy! As I scrolled, a picture came up that was like a cherry on top of a cake. It was of y/n and me. The picture was beautiful. It was taken when we were at the top of the Ferris wheel, my eyes admiring her while hers were lost in the sight of the city below. Her front hair was dancing in the cool breeze, just like mine. The sun was setting, and the sky was a mesmerizing hue of orange, purple, and pink. A soft glow on our faces made it look perfect.

I couldn't take my eyes off the picture. It captured the moment so beautifully, the way her smile lit up her face, the way the colors of the sunset played on her skin.

But then I accidentally scrolled to the next picture, and my smile grew even brighter. Because in this one, we were looking straight at each other, eyes locked in an unspoken conversation, lost in the moment. Her eyes sparkled with excitement, and I could see the same feeling mirrored in mine.

"Ooffff my poor heartu... Lily, you did a good job!", I whispered to myself, thanking my little friend for capturing these precious moments.

Sleeplishly grinning to myself, I hugged my pillow and drifted off to sleep, dreams of y/n and the wonderful day we had shared filling my mind.

The days were going pretty cool and amazing, a blend of productive weekdays spent studying and exhilarating weekends dedicated to practice. Everything felt perfectly balanced.

Practice sessions were a mix of laughter, hard work, and the occasional playful banter. Their bond as a team grew stronger with each passing weekend, their movements more synchronized, their spirits high.
Until the day ...when something dangerous happened!
