he began, his voice trailed with soft acknowledgment and suspense.
"For the female lead, this has been the toughest job, given the outstanding performances by girls, especially Nana, Emily, Mina, and Y/n."

The mention of Nana, Emily, Mina, and Y/n sparked a rush of murmurs, spreading throughout the crowd, acknowledging the talent.

Y/N enthusiastically side hugged Emily, while she did the same, giving an appreciation, a silent acknowledgment of their shared journey through auditions and rehearsals. Their dedication and hard work that they gave a tough competition...

Amongst the whispers, some confidently said Nana will be the female lead while maximum supported loop that Emily or Mina will be the female lead, and a few of them were on y/n side.

Taehyung on his side, was sincerely praying for his wish to be granted...

Meanwhile, Jimin's keen eyes didn't miss a beat as they trailed someone's actions, his curiosity piqued by the subtle actions of their demeanor, sensing a story and trying to unfold something.

A small smile played at the corner of the teacher lips, a silent acknowledgment of the talent gathered before him. And he continued as his eyes scanned the room.

"And now, finally..." He paused, drawing out the moment, letting the silence fill the room....

As the name echoed through the room, emotions collided like waves crashing against the shore. Joy, relief, and disappointment mingled in the air, painting the faces of the crowd with diverse expressions.

For a fleeting moment, a hush fell over the room, as if time itself paused to take in the revelation. Happy faces dimmed, overshadowed by the weight of unmet expectations, while others struggled to conceal their disappointment behind strained smiles.
Many happy faces now turned into sad faces...

Then, in the next second, after a stillness, applause erupted, shattering the silence. Some clapped with genuine enthusiasm, their smiles radiant with true happiness for the chosen one. Others joined in with forced applause, their smiles masking a tinge of envy or resentment.

As soon as I heard the name... My heart skipped a beat. It raced with excitement, and I felt a rush of euphoria wash over me like a gentle wave.

For me, in that moment, the world had come to a standstill, it was like time had frozen, and nothing else mattered to me in that moment. Even the silence that followed was drowned out by the pounding of my own heartbeat in my ears.

A huge grin, radiant smile spread across my face, lighting up my eyes with joy. I couldn't contain my excitement. I want to hug someone!!

Everything around me faded away, and all that mattered was the joy of knowing Y/n had been chosen as the main female lead.🥳

In that instant, it felt as though I had been granted a wish straight from the heavens, as many of them thought that it would be either Emily or Mina. But finally it was Y/N and I couldn't help but feel like I was floating on cloud nine.

Really?! My heart exclaimed in disbelief as for the first time My God listened to me, the words bubbling up from the depths of my soul. Y/n will be the female lead?! The realization was still hitting me like a bolt of lightning, igniting a firework of emotions that danced within me. I was like in seventh heaven.

My heart repeated the words like a mantra, the words of sincere prayer of thanks. "Thank you, thank you so so much, God! I love you" Gratitude overflowed from every pore, a sense of appreciation for this moment of pure bliss.

Turning my gaze to Y/n, I felt my heart swell with happiness, my eyes sparkling with the sheer magnitude of my joy.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity of waiting and hoping, moreover knowing that this was not just Y/n's victory, but mine as well - a shared triumph that would forever be carved in the canvas of my memories.

I whispered,
"Finally, I got the chance!!!"

Y/N couldn't believe her ears... She stood there, stunned, disbelief, as the words echoed in her ears. But before she could fully comprehend the moment, she was enveloped in a warm hug by her dearest friend, Emily.

Y/n couldn't help but feel the weight of responsibility and yet some excitement settled upon her shoulders.

Then came the final announcements-
"The witch will be Nana.

Emily and Mina will play the sisters of the female lead. "

After the final announcement... A round of cheers with some silent disagreement diluted the room.

But as the excitement began to settle, a commanding voice cut through the noise, bringing a sudden hush to the room. All eyes turned towards the speaker, eager to hear the next words.

"Silence!" the voice commanded, firm and unwavering.
"These are the selected names for the roles. If we find that someone is not doing it properly, the actor or actress might be replaced."

The weight of those words hung heavy in the air, a sharp reminder for the one who has been selected and the expectations that loomed over each performer. It was a call to action, a reminder to approach the upcoming challenges with diligence and dedication.

"Be cautious and give your best!" the voice continued, his tone with serious determination, with a soft smile.

The room seemed to hold its breath, every individual ready to embark themselves and give their best to make it a successful event.

The teacher concluded with his final words. "The practice will commence from weekends for 4 hours, in the morning sharp at 8 am."

"At last, I would say don't be disheartened", his voice filled with empathy and understanding for those whose name was not selected. There will be more functions yet to come, which will be waiting for you." He tried to cheer us with his warm and empathy words.

"Hope you all enjoy !!" His concluding words carried a warmth that mirrored the soft smile gracing his lips, infusing the room with a sense of shared excitement for what lay ahead.

"Now disperse!" the command came, signaling the end of the meeting. Slowly, the crowd began to disperse, each individual carrying with them a sense of determination and anticipation for the journey that lay ahead.

While everyone was moving outside..
In amidst the sea of emotions, two pairs of eyes locked onto Y/n with vastly different intentions. One pair glowed with delight, brimming with admiration and support.

But beside them, another pair of eyes burned with a different kind of intensity - a simmering jealousy that threatened to consume its bearer from within.

Behind the forced smiles, there was a burning envy, eating away at them inside. Seeing Y/n in the spotlight reminded them of what they wished they had achieved, making them feel bitter.

Seeing Y/n in the spotlight with Taehyung was not a cause for celebration, but a bitter pill to swallow, it was a reminder of unfulfilled dreams. And as the eyes watched Y/n with envy, the heart made a silent promise with its soul that, they would do whatever it takes to get what they believed should have been theirs.
