Chapter 54- Four down one to go.
APRIL 24.
Tranquility and gloom.
My head was buried into the warm pillow as I faced the plain white ceiling, with Draco's arm right around my waist his face, facing mine.
My mouth tasted like blood but it wasn't blood.
In a rush, I slipped on my slippers and rushed to the bathroom.
I waited and waited and waited and read the clock. 7:36 AM.
I had an upset stomach but there was no vomiting.
Must've been that food last night.

"Are you sure you're alright?" Examined Draco.
"Yea but I'll have to skip a day at work-the food we ate at the dinner was either uncooked or expired."
"These people don't know how to do their job, do they?"
I was going to initially go the department with Draco and then make an excuse Serena had fallen terribly ill and apparate to the hill-but this would work out just fine.
Luck was serving me today.

12:56
Leith Hill.
A red cloak.
And my victim.
"There you are." I heard a sinister voice from behind.
Bellatrix Lestrange.
"I didn't fall into your trap rather you have fallen into mine..." A few chuckles were escorted from her twisted mouth as I lowered my lashes to face the trees far beneath me.
"One will live and one will die-or who knows both will die."
I heard the noise of footsteps approaching me.
"Now don't be a coward.." more footsteps. "Show yourself!"
She snatched the hood of my head exposing my identity.
Hazel against wicked brown. There was a moment of silence, shock from her side.
Her eyebrows frowned, her eyes in utter disbelief, her lips parted.
"Suprised, are we?" My lips slowly curled into a vengeful grin. A grin of murder.
"You...you've been behind it all.." Her voice was low. Her world had paused.
It wouldn't last long as rage would begin controlling her and fight with daggers. Her dagger constantly crashed into mine- as a result, the sound of sinful steel against resentful steel would be heard.
Groans were the only thing escaping my mouth.
It went on a few minutes until I drew a noticeable cut on her face, more enraged than ever she disarmed me. My hand empty.
My weapon lay uselessly on the hard ground.
For the first time, I became fearful-fearful of what could potentially happen to me.
Breathless, I rushed to get a grip of my weapon and that's when Bellatrix rugged her fingers into the back of my head lifting it towards the azure sky.
A sprinkle of tears outlined my eyes from the harsh grip.
"I won't give you such a harsh death...but just know..."
She wrecked my head against the ground of the hill, blood leaking from my nose and I could swear I had heard a crack.
"You've lost..." Her fingers hadn't loosened their grip.
No.
Not yet.
"No..!" I regained enough strength to overthrow her, both of my hands violently hugging her throat. I began strangling her with all power I had.
"You..you..don't ...want to know why...we killed your parents?"
Time froze. I snatched away her dagger and loosed my grip. "Why...why!"
She let out a snicker, her hand tapping the ground twice as she gained consciousness over herself.
"Tell me!" I demanded. It was more like a cry of starvation.
She stood up and took out her wand, and so did I.
"I'll die but I won't utter a word!" Her wand pointed to mine. "Avada Kederva!"
Using a defensive spell I dodged that spell but the atmosphere around me had begun spinning.
A hectic battle went on. Back and forth. Spell to spell. One was bound to live and one was bound to die.
"Sectumsempra!"
This one I couldn't dodge.
It was quick but detrimental. A part of the spell dug into my shoulder, gashes of blood spilling onto my cloak. It felt as though an invisible sword was slashing my shoulder over and over again.
Defeated, I let out a cry of agony.
My knees dashed the rocky ground. I glared at Bellatrix who was jumping repeatedly and cheering her victory in a childish way.
My mouth tasted like disgust and ambition.
"Lucius will be so proud!"
The affection was far too much to bear. I lay on the ground watching the women celebrate my near death.
No.
No.
No.
It was supposed to be the other way around. Her back faced mine as she faced the view beneath her.
It hurt. It really did. I felt as though my breaths had become limited each breath felt costly to let go of.
What would Draco think if he witnessed my dead body?
Would he mourn or would he celebrate?
With very little resistance, I managed to stand on my own feet. Just like how Bellatrix had appeared behind me, I walked towards her back.
My victim standing in front of me unaware of her death.
"One will live and one will die," I whispered into her ear.
The cheers, the celebrations, the victory-silenced as I pushed her off the towering hill observing her slowly disappear into the greenery of the trees.
I wondered for a second about Draco's reaction to his aunt's death. I was not ready for it.

2 DAYS LATER.
"Sir, I don't see a dead body anywhere..." commented Kiaran gazing through the grounds of the hill.
There was Draco and I searching the top of the hill.
Pansy was at the bottom.
"A few tourists reported saying they saw blood.." Draco replied in response. "If this case doesn't resemble the red cloak killer, I'll have to pass it down."
"The top of this hill is quite larger than expected, let's all spilt."

I found my own dagger facing me.
That same dagger that had served no purpose. I felt disappointed I wasn't able to stab Bellatrix to death.
In a fit of rage, I dug enough space to bury my dagger and conceal it.
---------
"Sir, sir, sir!" A terrified Kiaran shrieked.
I ran to follow the voice, Draco had also caught up to Kiaran.
"What-what'd you-"
It was the same place Bellatrix and I had fought, battled, and then I had pushed her off.
Huge patches of blood had melted with the ground.
Kiaran was holding Bellatrix's filthy dagger and her scrawny wand.
Draco did not respond. Horrified of the view in front of him, he held the two pieces of evidence.
"This could either belong to the victim or..."
"Look what I found!" Pansy chimed in.
All heads turned towards her.
Bellatrix's dead body lay in her arms.
A/N: Thoughts? it's only Lucius left now. That also means we are approaching the end of the story.
