There was a row of small cushions lined up in the middle of the bed, overlapping one another. Like a wall between me and Draco. I would be sure not to break it.

I sat crossed legs with the soft white blanket covering my knees on the right side of the bed, whilst Draco laid cooly on the left.

"Just saying, I move around a lot"

"I'm sure it won't be a problem."

"If you say so" he responded and looked at me with a vicious smile.

"By the way, I'd like to make a few changes starting the next day."

"Whaaa' do you mean?"

"Your room looks so..." my lips parted together as I thought of a word to describe his room. "Depressing"

The sun rose, shining brightly as I dried my hair, and got ready for the day. Draco was in a deep sleep, and it seemed as though he wouldn't be waking up anytime soon. 

Today was a Saturday, so a day off work and a special day. I had finished planning Lestrange's death.

It was simple really.

In the evening, a party for the newly married couple was awaiting, all of his relatives, friends, family, etc would arrive.

One of them would surely be Rodolphus Lestrange. 

I had it all planned out, from the moment he would arrive at the moment he'd be killed.

4 PM.

"Erm- thank you" I awkwardly replied, as some stranger passed me a small wrapped gift, like the other twenty-five gifts I had gotten, I slowly slid it past me. I wasn't used to receiving such gifts at all.

Suddenly, Draco pulled me aside. Ghosting the newly arrived guests,  we both stood alone in a pitch-black corner with the lights switched off. His hands were tightly grasped around my arms, even though I couldn't see; I could sense his eyes had set on mine. It was evident, that it was getting warm in here.

"Before you meet my friends, I must tell you something" his voice was vibrant.

"Can you elaborate?"

"Just in front of them, act like you love me..like...love....love.." 

my eyebrows furrowed and I violently pushed his hands off my arms. Absolutely not.  I took two steps back until my back crashed into a wall, he took another two steps forward placing his hands neatly beside my head and leaning his head closer to mine to the point, I could smell the mint escaping his mouth. 

"I can't deal with you right now," I responded in a sluggish voice.

"Please- just...just.. for tonight."

Acting in love? Nothing could possibly go wrong. 

It wasn't like I was actually gonna fall in love.

Actually in love with Draco? I wanted to guffaw at the thought of that. It was never going to happen.

By never I meant never.

In a blink, three of Draco's closest friends stood in front; I remembered one of them from before. Theodore, who has a delightful, welcoming smile; Blaise who appeared to be the closest to Draco; and Theodore, who seemed to have been the clown in the group. 

I introduced myself to the group of boys and seemingly all of them were friendly. While chatting, I spotted I had been practically dying to see. Serena.

I rushed to her embracing her in my arms tightly, and she mimicked me letting out a quiet chuckle. "Serena, you're finally here!" I exclaimed in utter joy. 

"I know, I was waiting for you as well." my arms loosened around her. 

"Where's Tom?" 

I knew Tom was a person who enjoyed his own company, not even I knew sometimes his doings and what he did on his own. He was cold and unresponsive to strangers, but he seriously wouldn't miss this event, right?

To that Serena let out a snarky smirk, and I immediately sensed someone roughly pinching me, following with a silenced chuckle. I knew who was, under the invisibility cloak.

"Tom, I know it's you." 

"You're right."

After the conversation, I glanced over to Draco spotting Parkinson all over him and caressing his hand. While deeply lovingly gazing into his eyes. It wasn't like Draco was stopping her, it seemed as though rather he was encouraging it. 

Whatever I didn't care.

He wasn't my actual husband either.

"You married someone out of nowhere, Draco"

"Thought it was time to move on" Draco pulled her hand off his. 

I was a frozen statue at this point, my body was not attentive but my ears were, listening to every word in their conversation while quietly analyzing the chips and drinks ahead of me. "Are you jealous?"  purred Tom loudly in my ear through the invisibility cloak.

For a minute, I had forgotten he was here at this party.

"No, what makes you think that." I susurrated, I didn't want to create attention to myself, and talking to Tom felt like talking to air.

"Then you shouldn't be listening to them so attentively, I'd suggest you'd leave them alone."

"And I suggest you leave me alone"

"Ya, know I attended this party for you" 

"I know, but it just looks like I'm talking to myself and I don't like it!" 

"Then don't talk, just listen"

"Can you both just move a little closer to fit in the camera?"  instructed Blaise. I don't know how I had gotten here, but here we were taking pictures. 

"Sure." agreed Draco, and unexpectedly placed his arms over my mine, reaching for my waist. There was utter shock on my face. He didn't care he continued, placing his chin neatly on my shoulder. 

Just in front of them, act like you love me..like...love....love...

The planted shock on my face gradually fade, perhaps I had decided to play along and let my lips curl into a faint, fake smile and intertwined my fingers with his. 

"Ah, perfect!" click-click.

A polaroid popped out of the camera, I quickly escaped Draco's wrath and distracted everyone. Played loud music and encouraged the loud voices.  It was time to put my plan into action, I spotted Ropohoulous in the party, heading to one of the rooms alone. 

What a pity, he had made things so much easier for me. 

My knuckles reached the door. He opened the door, perplexed. 

"Can I come in?" 

His eyebrows arched as he gave me space to walk in. 

"What do you want?"

The door locked and the walls became dull.  

"I know who you are, Ropohoulous"

"Who am I?" I could sense there was anxiety, and panic on his face; yet he was covering it with fake confidence.

"A culprit" the panic and anxiety noticeably grew on his face. "Of Falcony and Quentin" those were the names of my parents, he snatched his wand out of his pocket and shot an alarming spell. 

 "SECTUMSEMPRA" 

That was the exact thing about him that proved him weak. He acted impulsively not calmly. Steadily and quickly, with my right hand, I dodged the spell nearly being moments away from being attacked. 

A duel went on until I used non-verbal spells over and over again. His wand escaped his sweaty palm and lay sealed on the wooden floor. He knelt over the wand picking it up.

"AVADA KEDRAVA"  

Yet nothing came out, except a bubble of harmless smoke shot out. 

His wand had been diffused by me. His wand was now just a stick, powerless like him. 

The look on his face proved he was guilty, sweat-filled his face and neck. His knees reached the floor. 

"Forgive me, I'm sorry; I...I didn't mean to kill your parents.." he begged for mercy, for forgiveness. For life. 

"When the child dies, the souls of the parents cry; but when the parents die, the whole world cries!" I exposed the dagger hidden under my dress. 

"No.." 

He tried to escape, looking in every direction he could.

There was no escape. 

There was only blood for blood.

I violently stabbed the dagger into him, shrieks and screams circled the room in a cycle. Blood sputtered out of him, as the new cool red blood pooled around him. 

There was only life for life. Death for death 

Again, I ruthlessly took out the sliver-shinning dagger covered in newfound blood and shot it right back in, filling the white walls, red. He was in agony, suffering. 

There was only attack for attack.

I wanted to end the nagging screams and shrieks coming out of him. He had no right to ask for life when he ended my parents so brutally.

"When my parents cried for mercy, for you to let them go. Did you let them go?" I asked the barely alive Ropholus with tears filling my eyes.

"All five of you laughed, celebrating and cheering the deaths of my parents!" with the passion that ran in me. I ended his life once and for all, ending his affliction. There was only one noise, the clock ticking second by second.

I wiped Lestrange's blood off my cheeks and hand. Cleaned the dress I was wearing.

 "Incendio..."

The dagger lit on fire and changed its form into nothing but burned dull grey smoke.

I was back at the party.

Draco kissed my cheek lovingly, I knew it was fake. However, his lips on my cheek felt warm and affectionate.

I hadn't felt love for centuries, perhaps I had forgotten what love even felt like anymore. What rubbish was I speaking, love just simply wasn't for me. I had accepted that long ago. Draco continued.

Leaving pepper, small and warm kisses on my shoulder. I closed my eyes thoroughly trying to adjust to the feeling for a small second, smaller than a second. I opened my eyes and nudged Draco away softly. 

"You're over-doing it." I jeered. Before he could respond, blood dropped and dripped onto my fingers.
