"Yah! Kim Ri-El!" – Hwang In-Yeop

In-Yeop had never been comfortable with Riel's close friendships with other boys. But when he discovered that she was particularly tight with his best friend, Eunwoo, irritation and frustration bubbled within him.

Yet, beneath the surface, guilt and sadness swirled. In-Yeop couldn't ignore how genuinely happy Riel seemed with Eunwoo. The contrast between her treatment of him and her interactions with Eunwoo was stark.

In-Yeop understood that Riel deserved happiness, but he wanted to be the one to provide it. He resolved that once he explained everything to her and received her forgiveness, he wouldn't waste another second before asserting his claim over her.

And yes, you've already gathered that In-Yeop is fiercely possessive.

The members of BTS assumed that In-Yeop was merely feeling regret and sadness for his past actions. They decided to give him space, unaware that he was secretly plotting ways to punish their stepsister.

-Lunchtime-

The cafeteria buzzed with activity as students gathered, chatting and laughing. Riel sat with her best friends, Blackpink and Eunwoo, enjoying their meal together.

However, the peace was shattered by the cacophony of screams and yells from the girls:

"JIMIN OPPA, BE MY BOYFRIEND!"

"TAEHYUNG, I LOVE YOU!"

"JUNGKOOK, MARRY ME!"

"YEJI, BE MY GIRLFRIEND!"

"HYUNJIN OPPA, LOOK AT ME!"

Riel's annoyance reached its peak when some girls directed their attention toward In-Yeop:

"IN-YEOP! YOU'RE SO HOT!"

"BE MY HUSBAND, IN-YEOP!"

"IN-YEOP, DADDY!"

Enough was enough. Riel stood up, her fury radiating like a lioness defending her territory. "ENOUGH! YOU WON'T UNDERSTAND WITH A GENTLE REBUKE, HUH?! SHUT YOUR MOUTHS! WHERE'S YOUR DIGNITY?!"

Suppressing the urge to physically confront the girls, Riel's command hung in the air, silencing the crowd. Her chest heaved as she caught her breath, her anger making her even more captivating.

In-Yeop couldn't tear his eyes away from her. Here was a man admiring what rightfully belonged to him. "Yah, Kim Riel!" he called out. "What now?!" Riel snapped, her temper still ablaze.

In-Yeop closed the distance between them, a smirk playing on his lips. Their faces hovered inches apart. "Calm down, Mrs. Hwang," he teased. Riel scoffed, leaning forward until their noses almost touched. "Delusional, Mr. Hwang."

His gaze dipped from her eyes to her lips. "Tsk, pervert," she accused. But In-Yeop only chuckled, innocence masking his true intentions. "If I'm a pervert, what does that make you? Overly possessive?" he countered.

"What do you mean?" Riel frowned, caught off guard.

In-Yeop's laughter danced in the charged air. Without warning, he stole a quick peck from Riel's lips, leaving her frozen in place. The surrounding students gasped, their collective shock echoing through the cafeteria.

The stolen kiss lingered in the air, leaving Riel's heart racing. In-Yeop's lips against hers had ignited something—a spark of longing she couldn't ignore. But she was no damsel in distress; she wouldn't let him unravel her defenses so easily.

In-Yeop stepped back, his smirk replaced by a more serious expression. "You've became a mystery, Kim Riel," he murmured. "Why do you fight this connection between us?"

Riel's eyes narrowed. "Connection? You mean the one where you're possessive and infuriating?"

He chuckled. "Possessive, yes. But there's more to it. You challenge me, Riel. You make me want to break every rule."

She scoffed. "Breaking rules is your specialty, isn't it? Like stealing kisses in the cafeteria."

His gaze bore into hers. "I kissed you because I couldn't resist. But there's more we need to discuss."

"What?" Riel crossed her arms, wary.

In-Yeop leaned in, his breath warm against her skin. "Why did you roar like a lioness when those girls called me 'husband' and 'daddy'?"

Her cheeks flushed. "Because they're delusional!"

"No, Riel." His voice dropped to a whisper. "You're mine. And I won't let anyone else claim you."

And in that stolen moment, In-Yeop silently vowed to be the source of Riel's happiness, no matter the obstacles. 

The tension between Riel and In-Yeop deepened. Secrets simmered beneath the surface; desires unspoken. Riel wondered if she could trust In-Yeop again. 

Is In-Yeop's possessiveness a promise or a threat?
