"Nope, we are very stubborn." Eugene said.

"This is my problem let me deal with it." I say.

"No way Hector!" Rapunzel yelled.

She walked over to me. Yup, she was angry. She is always a beast when angry. 

"Stop trying to end yourself! There's another way! There's always another way!" She yelled.

"Wow. You can be a beast." I say.

I look at her. She looked stern. I let out a breath. No point arguing.

"You forgot one thing, I'm chained down." I say.

"Thank you, Hector." She smiled.

"It would not be wise to release him." The old man said walking out of the shadows. 

He was right behind me. Great. He held a curved hooked blade. He ran it across my skin I wince.

"Who the hell are you? Your supposed to kill her descendants. Why do you torture him?" Adira asked.

"I've moved beyond what Demanitus had us do. I've learned that we can take the power for ourselves." He sliced my back with the blade swiftly. 

I wince. 

"Stop it! He doesn't deserve this." Rapunzel yelled.

"He is the exact person that deserves this." He said. 

He dug the hooked blade into my flesh. I clenched my teeth. I stifle a scream. Sweat poured down my face.

"Enough!" I yell.

Black rocks burst from the ground at the old man. He backed away.

"Now you see how valuable he is?" He asked.

Adira walked over to me. She cut off my chains. She helped me up.

I hear a roar. Oh no.  Ibis burst through the doors. Really?

"You had to bring Ibis?" I look at her.
