I stare at the palace. I was debating with myself whether to go in or not. It terrified me more than anything. I could never forgive Frederic for what he did to me, how could I? It's a deep wound that I still have.

"Ugh, what am I doing here?" I ask Anubis and Seth.

They shrugged and continued gnawing on wood. Seth nudged me. I guess I should try to make amends with Frederic, but how can I possibly look me in the eye?

"Fulfilling your destiny." A female voice said.

I looked around. There was no one around me. Was I just hearing things? Is my mind okay? It's probably nothing. Just my nerves. Seth and Anubis nudged me.

"Alright, alright, you're right." I say.

"The King is expecting you," A guard said.

"That's what I was afraid of." I hiss.

I walk in the palace and around the halls. It's so big and so fancy. It's not what I'm used to.

"Hey, Seth, Anubis, stop scratching up the place." I say.

They nod and continue to follow me. He leads me into the dining hall. I see Frederic and Arianna sitting at the head of the table. I see Rapunzel on the right end, next to Eugene. I don't know why Lance and the other two girls are here. 

"Ah, Hector glad you could make it." Frederic said.

"Where do you want me to sit?" I ask. 

"Right on the end of the table." Rapunzel said leading me. 

"Thanks." I mutter. 

I sit down. I took a leg of chicken and cut it in half. I put the half of chicken on the floor for Seth and Anubis they started tearing apart the chicken. I don't know about this. I'm not good at social gatherings. Let alone with Frederic.

"So, you two know each other, right?" Eugene asked.

I glare at him. He backs off.

"How do you know that?" I ask.

"Uhh, well...uhh." Eugene stammers.

"It doesn't matter Hector, what matters is that we are eating together for the first time in a long time." Frederic said.

"It brings me no pleasure." I say munching.
