I was still eating an apple. I was leading them to the skull. They promised not to tell anyone. It felt better having a full stomach. 

"Okay, so how big is this skull? Can't be that big, can it? Oh Mama!!" Eugene yelled. 

"I told you it was big." I say.

"You didn't say it being as big as the floor of the throne room!" He yelled. 

"Guys can we just focus please?" Cassandra asked.

"What is this thing?" Rapunzel asked waking around it.

"Well, I have yet to figure it out. I was taking this skull apart once the shadow appeared. Huh, now that I think about it, that shadow head looked like that skull. New observation!" I chuckle.

I look at its eyes. It's like a dark feeling came over me. I stare at it. I was frozen. I kept looking into its eyes. I hear it calling my name.

"Varian?" Cassandra's voice broke the spell.

"Huh? What?" I ask. 

 "Uh, nothing." Cassandra said. 

"Look, I should probably get back before my Dad starts freaking out again." I say leaving. 

I had to get away from that thing. I just had to get away.
