Me and Niccolo stared at eachother shocked

"Well... um..." Niccolo stuttered out. Lyra looked at me with puppy eyes. Me and Niccolo look at eachother not sure how to respond. His face is pink and mine felt hot.

"Please?" Kevin and Lyra begged us. We looked at the two kids and then back at eachother once more

"I don't kn-" I began but Lyra started to tear up

"Do you not want to be my mommy?" She asks. Kevin looks at me a pleads. I look at Niccolo and ask him with my eyes 'What do I say?' .He gives me a 'I don't know, whatever you want' look. I then crouch down and look at Lyra

"Sure I'll be your mommy" I say nervously. A wide smile appears on her face as she squeals

"That makes you my daddy" Kevin says looking Niccolo up and down

"What's that for?" I ask him

"He'll work I guess" Kevin says. Niccolo's face paled at the way Kevin accepted him as his father.

"So now we all live together!" Lyra says. Me and Niccolo's eyes go wide

"Woah woah woah, we did not agree to that" I say

"But mommy's and daddy's always live together" Lyra says. Niccolo walks over to me

"If you want to, you and Kevin can spend the night. I have a spare bedroom you can sleep in" He says to me softly so Lyra and Kevin couldn't hear

"We'd have to run home to get clothes" I say

"I'll drive you" He says

"I don't want to be a burde-" I began. He grabbed my hands

"I insist, the last thing I want is to make Lyra sad. Obviously if you're not comfortable then you don't have to but we'd love to have you and Kevin" Niccolo says with a shy smile

"If you insist" I say

"Okay get in the car" Niccolo says to Lyra and Kevin. They both rush to the car. He then looks at me once more

"Thank you.." He mutters. I simply give him a kiss on the cheek and then I head to the passenger's seat. He stood there frozen for a couple seconds before he walked to the driver's seat.

"Alright, we'll be heading to Y/n's and then we'll go home" Niccolo says

"They're coming over right?" Lyra asks

"Yes princess, they just need to grab some things" Niccolo says. My heart melted at the nickname he called her

A man spoiling and cherishing his child has to be the most attractive trait a man can have

I stared at Niccolo in awe

Would he treat Kevin like that? No it's too soon to think ab- well if we're technically seeing eachother then it's actually really important. I refuse to be with a man who won't put my child's needs before his own

I turned around to see both kids sleeping. A smile appeared on my face.

"They're sleeping" I whisper

"How cute" Niccolo says. I look to Niccolo

"When we get to your house.. can we talk?" I whisper

"Of course" He whispers back. We finally get to my house.

"I'm gonna go grab our stuff, I'll be right back" I say. He nods. I open the door and walk inside. I quickly grab a (Brush/Pick) and/or me and Kevin's toothbrushes. I get some clothes for me and Kevin and put them in a bag. I check to make sure we have everything that is essential and then I walk out. I head back to the car. When I get closer, I see Niccolo watching the children intently. Those small actions made my heart swell. I opened the door

"I have everything" I whisper

"Okay let's go" He whispers back. We drive to his house. Once we're there my jaw drops. His house was huge.

"You didn't tell me you were loaded" I mutter

"Being a cook gets you places when you're successful" He says with a wink. I feel my face heat up. He pulls in and me and him got out. I opened the back door and unbuckled Lyra. Niccolo did the same for Kevin. I picked up Lyra and held her gently as I closed the door. Niccolo followed my actions. Soon after we were walking to the door. Niccolo got in front of me and I stared at the way he held Kevin. It made my heart beat speed up

He opened the door and we both walked in

"I'll lead you to Lyra's room, if that's where you want Kevin to sleep. Or he can stay with you. Whichever you prefer" Niccolo says.

"He can stay with Lyra" I say. He nods and leads me upstairs. He opens up a door and my jaw drops at her room. It was princess themed. She had a cute purple bed with a bunch of Disney princesses on the wall.

He's such a caring father

"We should get them changed" I say

"Of course, his clothes are in the bag?" Niccolo asks

"Yes" I say. I open Lyra's closet and find some pajamas. I take off her shirt and pants and then put her in a pajama shirt and some pajama pants. I then lay her down on the bed. Niccolo does the same and lays down Kevin. I grab the bag and we both walk out

"So what did you want to talk about?" Niccolo asks curiously as we head towards his room. He opens the door and we both walk in. He closes the door and we both sit on his bed

"So obviously we are seeing eachother so to speak. I care about Lyra a lot and I'm willing to raise her as my own. I'm going to be honest, the way I see you interact with her makes my heart melt and I can tell she's your whole world" I say

"Well of course she is, I'd die for her" Niccolo says. A smile appears on my face

"And I'm glad to know she's that important... but if we start dating... I need to know if you're willing to do the same for Kevin" I say. He grabs my hands and looks me straight in the eyes

"Kevin sees me as his father.. or atleast I think so.. I'll show him what a father should be. You don't have to worry about anything" Niccolo says. I hug him

"Thank you.." I mutter. He hugs me back

"Don't thank me, it's the least I can do" Niccolo says. We break apart

"I should get ready for bed" I say

"Yeah.." He says.  I give him a peck on the lips and then walk out. I head the extra bedroom and close the door. I get changed and then laid down, eventually falling asleep
