Y/n's POV

Historia was queen. Everything was
back to normal. Me and Connie were walking around town when he brought me to a lake.

"The lake sure is pretty" I said

"Not as pretty as you" He said as he squints his eyes and bites his lip. I laughed as I shoved his shoulder. He lost balance and fell into the lake. Then, his head popped back up from underneath the water

"What the fuck?!" He asked somewhat pissed. I fell to the ground as I laughed

"What's so funny?!" He asked as he grabbed my arm and yanked me into the lake. I felt the cold water envelop my body. I quickly popped my head up above the water and then stared at Connie with a shocked face

"Connie, this water is cold!" I cried out as I shivered

"How do you think I feel?!" He asked as he also shivered

"Why haven't you gotten out?!" I asked

"That's a good idea" He said as he snapped his fingers. He pulled himself out of the lake and then turned around to pull me out. I instantly shivered as my body left the cold water. My teeth were chattering I was cold. Connie was doing the same

"Y'know since you're.... c-cold and I'm cold... why don't we s-snuggle together to create heat?" Connie asked as his teeth continued to chatter

"How a-about we call Sasha... t-this is your fault" I said with as I rolled my eyes. I rubbed my arms hoping to create some heat. It was like Sasha had a sixth sense. She somehow came rushing over. A worried look on her face

"What happened to you two?" Sasha asked

"C-Connie thought it would be a great idea to come to the lake, and then accidentally fell in and then d-dragged me in" I said as I shivered. Sasha glared at Connie

"Don't you worry N/n, momma Sasha's got you" Sasha said as she picked me up. She then rushed away, leaving Connie's sorry ass behind

"What about me?!" Connie yelled

"Screw you Connie! My sister is gonna die of hypothermia because of you!" Sasha yelled

Me and Connie had caught colds.  Connie was laying next to me

"N/n.." Connie whined

"What?" I asked

"Come love me" He said

"No, your the reason we're like th-" I stopped as I sneezed into a tissue. Connie laid his face on my stomach

"You're really warm" He said, though his voice was muffled. I weakly pushed him off

"No" I said as I pouted

"Y/n...." He whined as he began to  tear up

"That's not gonna work Connie" I said as I coughed

"You don't love me anymore do you?" He asked as his voice cracked. He looked at me with sad eyes

Don't give in

"No cuddles, you're in timeout" I said keeping my resolve strong

"Not timeout!" He yelled. My head began to pound due to his yelling. I covered my ears trying to make it go away

"Ow, that hurt Connie" I whined. He frowned

"I'm sorry... let me make it up to you " He said

"No" I said as I turned away from him and fell asleep

Third Person's POV

Connie looked at Y/n, longing to be in her arms, yet knew that she said she didn't want to. Connie respected that, even if it made him sad. Connie turned over in an attempt to go to sleep, luckily for him, he was successful

About an hour had passed when Sasha entered the room with the two soldiers medicine. But the medicine she was supposed to deliver fell to the ground as she stared at the scene in front of her. She felt her heart swell up with cuteness. The sight of Y/n's arms wrapped around Connie. Connie's face was muzzled into Y/n's neck as he snored like a bear. It was actually impressive Y/n didn't wake with him snoring in her ear. Sasha heard footsteps outside the room and quickly went to check. It was Jean and Mikasa. They were in the middle of a lighthearted conversation

Sasha quickly grabbed them both and brought them into the room. Sasha looked at the two sleeping figures with pride

"Look at my babies" Sasha said. Mikasa softly smiled at the sight

"Aww that's actually kind of cute" Mikasa said

"I wonder if JJ would let me do that" Jean muttered to himself. Sasha punched Jean's arm, which caught Jean completely off-guard

"What the hell was that for?!" Jean asked

"This isn't about you" Sasha said rolling her eyes

Y/n's POV

I woke up to someone breathing on my neck. I realized it was Connie

He was right, this is really warm

I almost fell back asleep when I heard Connie mumbling stuff into my neck. I was confused on what Connie was muttering about and was kind of curious. Though, he was still sleeping

"I love you... Y/n" He muttered in his sleep. If it weren't for my pounding headache I would've screamed from happiness. I smiled softly knowing he dreams about me as well. I ran my fingers through his hair

"I'm gonna.. I'm gonna.. make sure you're happy.." He sleep talked. I felt my heart beat increase as a goofy smile appeared on my face

"I love.. you so much.." He mumbled as he continued to sleep. Suddenly screaming was heard

"Oh my God! This is too cute!" Sasha screamed. The sudden noise caused me to jolt up. This caused my chin to collide with Connie's face. I heard him groan as he woke up

"What the fuck?" Connie asked confused

"You are such a simp!" Sasha squealed

"What are you talking about?" Connie asked confused

"Dude, don't play dumb!" Sasha yelled. His eyes went wide

"Hold up- you're telling me that I said that out loud?" Connie asked as his face tinted red

"Oh, yeah" Sasha said. I looked at Connie with admiration. My heart felt like it was gonna fly out of my chest.

"This is embarrassing.." Connie muttered. I took a deep breath as I tried to calm myself from all the happiness I felt. Connie then looked at me. I intertwined his hand with mine

"I'll always be happy as long as I'm with you" I said as I looked at him directly in the eyes. A huge smile appeared on Connie's face before he began to have a coughing fit. Sasha rushed to get him water as I tried to get him to relax

"You're still sick" I said as Connie continued to cough

"The satisfaction.. of knowing I beat Jean.. at something.. brings me eternal happiness!" Connie yelled in between coughs. I raised in eyebrow

"What did you beat Jean at?" I asked him

"I got the most perfect girl in the world" Connie said all flustered. I smiled at what he had said. Sasha looked at us

"Aww, you guys are so cute.. you make me want to vomit" Sasha said as she fake gagged

"Honestly, poor Sasha having to third wheel you two" Jean said as he came out of nowhere

"We're not even that bad" Connie said

"Yeah, you are" Mikasa said

"Maybe we are" I said

"You only live once, so you have to make the most of it" Connie said

"Just not in front of me" Jean said

"Literally why are you here?" Connie asked as he glared at Jean

"Because I can be. Do you have an issue with me?" Jean asked

"Actually I do!" Connie said as he flipped off Jean which pissed off the horse

"Okay but at least I'm not fucking short, you chihuahua!" Jean yelled

"At least I'm not cousins with horses!" Connie yelled

"Real original Connie, real original!" Jean said

"Go fuck yourself, Jean" Connie said

"At least I have hair!" Jean yelled. I then watched as the two fought like children

They never grow up
