APPEARANCE/FACECLAIM - Faceclaim? Nah. Hotel? Trivago. (I don't even get this joke XD) Hya has longish slightly dark cherry-crimson hair like his father that reaches just a little past his shoulders, which he usually lets loose or puts into a small, low ponytail. It is darker at the roots thanks to his mother's black hair. He has his mother's grey-blue eyes, and is rather thin for his age, standing at 5'5" (168 cm, 66 inches). He likes to wear a small but sturdy leather bag with him at all times. His skin is slightly tinted tannish-olive because of his father's Italian lineage but leans a little more towards the paler side thanks to his mother's Japanese lineage and his extremely excessive time sitting inside instead of going outside.

PERSONALITY: [TO MAKE UP FOR LACK OF A PAINFUL BACKSTORY, JIMMY PRESENTS TO YOU... THE LONGEST PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION I'VE DONE SO FAR! (I THINK! PROBABLY NOT!]

Hya has a short temper, but he is caring. He cares a lot for his family and his little sister. Though he loves them dearly he finds it hard to express his love. He is often misunderstood by others because of his actions-namely, being mean to people when he just wants to apologize, ignoring them when he's just tired, and other things along those lines. People found Hya strange as a kid (and honestly they still do) because he didn't talk to anyone, making them think he lacks communication skills, but he was just not interested to talk to others. (He's more a 'observe quietly' type than a 'ask and learn' type.) His short temper, hilariously, makes him start fights without considering if he can win them 90% of the time. (Most people end up being surprised that Hya's still alive with how his mind works). He has a personality disorder, has slight asthma, is hypersensitive, and a twisted kind of genius. His mother suggested origami to help with his problems and to this day if he's nervous or thinking or anything like that come into his room ten minutes later and it'll be filled with all sorts of origami. (He likes paper airplanes the most 'cause they're easy)

Also, Hya has slight narcolepsy-which basically means if his emotions are triggered too much, he will end up falling asleep on the spot. That's why he typically doesn't like showing too much emotion, just that one kid folding paper in the background, drawing, or reading. Even though he's got a temper you probably wouldn't see it on his face, it would appear calm, placid, and borderline bored as usual because his narcolepsy reacts to facial changes-even if on the inside he's spoiling for a fight like some gangstah.

To those he doesn't know well or aren't friendly with yet, he either meets you in three ways: You ask to be his friend (he isn't really one to initiate friendships...), he challenges you to a fight, or he'll nod once to acknowledge your presence then proceed to sit down and ignore you while he folds a lily or something. Then like five minutes later he'll get up drop that flower or some other origami into your face and go somewhere else leaving you puzzled. That's his trademark greeting if you don't approach him first and has caused no shortage of misunderstandings, but Hya still doesn't stop doing it for some strange reason. However, Hya does have a bad habit of impulsively calling out anyone that looks strong and going, "Hey, you. You look strong. Let's fight." -v-'. . . He eithers gets beaten up and comes back later for a rematch, becomes friends with them, or beats them. Haha. 

On the outside, though, he appears like a quiet, calm guy who doesn't like talking much-almost like an otaku... that is, before you make him angry. There's a reason why some people refer to him as a 'pyscho' and why he's jokingly called a 'twisted kind of genius'. Like his father, because of his personality disorder, when triggered it makes him act violently, recklessly, and ruthlessly. He has a 'quiet, burning, icy-cold kind of anger' that isn't really shown by raising his voice or with facial emotions, but his tone changes immensely and he becomes much less hesitant to use his powers to attack someone and has no qualms in torturing them and traumatizing them (his psycho side is also quite the sadist -v-') Thanks to the amount of mystery novels he binges on a daily basis (another thing his mother 'prescribed' for his twisted genius side) he knows a lot about killing someone else and being careful about it, as well as ways to figure out things. He's intelligent and sharp and would actually be a great police officer except for his code of morals... 

But then, to those he does know, Hya becomes a lot less psycho-ish and much more like a bashful, emotionally constipated person. He really doesn't know how to deal with feelings and funnily enough, despite his temper he doesn't often fall asleep because of anger or anything like that... his narcolepsy reacts the most when he's getting flustered or embarrassed. Literally even if he can't tell the person he wants to apologize to 'sorry' if he falls asleep the person will probably be able to put two and two together and go "Oh, you're trying to say 'sorry'!". He tends to make lots of little hand movements while he's trying to express his emotions and usually ends up confusing those who don't know him well. Hya's also sometimes too straightforward-you can literally see him fervently looking in the library for a book perhaps titled "Ways To Interact With Close Friends Without Coming Off As An Asshole". Hya doesn't make friends easily but when he does he does for pretty much life, so much insult lightly his friends and he'll get a gun and unhesitatingly shoot you. He's got absolutely NO QUALMS in attacking those who harm his friends. (dont harm his friends bois)

Anywhossssss aside from that as soon as you have befriended him Hya becomes the sweetest most docile pet kitty you could own. It would not be an understatement to say he would rather die than not be able to save a friend he really cares about. Despite his other personality points he is actually pretty understanding! He's your go-to person for heart-to-heart advice talks or to just rant because he doesn't judge or anything. (Maybe snicker a couple of times but we'll forget about that) He connects easily with people who feel like they aren't understood easily by others because he's the same way uwu~ A person with an esoteric personality~. Overall though he's a wolf in sheep's clothing, looks cute and docile on the outside, will snap and attack you without a second thought if you irritate him. (The lamb in him only comes out after you've safely befriended him.) ALTHOUGHHHHH-betray him and you'll reGRET it. fufufufufufufufufufufuuuuuu-

RELIGION/ATHEIST - See Hya believes in all that and he doesn't, at the same time. His religious views are very fluid; at times he'll just pray to one god but sometimes he'll wish upon a star to several. He doesn't believe there's only one god up there, but several, but just that there's one that acts as the 'leader' (or in his words, "One god who's not an idiot.") He believes in several gods and prays to them accordingly, like if he's about to go to a competition or something he'll pray, "Oh Hypnos god of sleep... please don't let me fall asleep in the middle of the competition. Thank you."

LOVE INTEREST: HECK YEAHHHHHH (Yes) + preferably male, he/him (Hya doesn't mind but finds himself more attracted to males)

DISLIKES: His narcolepsy (he finds it super inconvenient), falling asleep in the middle of doing something (it doesn't have to important), annoying clingy people (you know what type of people i'm talkin bout right??), people who pick on the weak and beat them up for literally no reason at all, silence, racism/discrimination (fuck them)

LIKES: Folding things (origami) reading/figuring out mystery novels, fighting/defeating/learning from/befriending strong people, his family+close friends, 'people who are cool', butterflies and cats, inacting his own type of justice (that usually involves some sort of mental torture in which he finds out blackmail material against you and uses it v e r y willingly)

HOBBIES/INTERESTS: Folding origami-oh come on. Y'all saw this comin' didn't ya? Ya? Ya. Does it near-constantly, gives out his creations to random people, a master... Hya also likes reading mystery novels for literally no reason except to try and figure out the culprit and learn about new killing methods which he finds 'fascinating', although not as his next hobby... fighting strong people and also lEARNING from them! yes, he's not a complete idiot who starts fights randomly (he is) but he also greatly values whatever he learns from the strong people he's fought.

FEARS: Dogs, nothingness, complete darkness or silence (he will literally rather befriend a friend that's loud and would constantly fill his world with loudness than be alone in quietness), being totally and completely alone, the feeling of what I just stated

STRENGTHS: Um his powers are. Strong? I think? FORGET IT I'M NOT GOING TO TALK ABOUT HYA'S POWERS HERE! Personality-wise, as long as you're his friend, you're basically guaranteed to have a safe protection shield over you. Also there's a reason why he's a genius-forget about the twisted part for a sec even though his powers make him seem like he should be part of Stellaris, NOOOOOOO, he got into LUNARIS! Because! Hya! Is! A! Smart! Boi! (Or at least he likes to think so. He can be dense and very much emotionally constipated to put it very uneloquently) He can figure things out in a flash if you give him enough information, has so. much. blackmail he's not entirely afraid to use, and uh. Likes to grab it on his own too (like searches for it) In battle Hya likes to use his opponent's strength against them for their own downfall and he's a master strategist. (Not a front line fighter, non non, but an intellectual-type villain that TAKES DOWN AND CONTROLS PEOPLE FROM THE SHADOWS!) He's also not afraid to use his sharp tongue against people (oh my dear boy don't be so blunt) and his preferred method of taking down people is mentally. Hya is also quite charismatic on some level and knows how to manipulate people to get what he wants (although fun fact. He's easily manipulated by close friends who use their information of him to ward him off or something) And finally because his narcolepsy s uc ks sometimes, Hya has an overall good grasp on his emotions, knowing how to regulate them when they're boiling or too tired. He's not one to freak out or chicken out and go home quickly, nope he is a stubborn boi who will see through to the end WHAT HE WANTS TO DO!

WEAKNESSES: Personality wise? Hya is so. morally. gray. He has a hard time separating the good from the bad and he often ends up saying things he doesn't mean because he's terrible at communication and because like I said: his tongue is sharp his tongue is quick his tongue is blunt and doesn't have much of a filter. In terms of fighting ability while he's a very smart person who's good at strategizing and would be a great child of Athena/Ares combo, Hya has a very. weak. constitution. He needs to be careful not to let his emotions get ahold of himself (that's why he appears/talks emotionallessly most of the time) or his narcolepsy will AWAKEN (pun intended) and make him FALL ASLEEP! Sometimes it happens at the worst and inconvenient of times-while I highly suggest you use it for comedic moments, please also use it for some terrible timing moments, like when he's in the middle of relaying important information or such. In moments of battle if he slips up even once with his emotions he'd better have someone by his side to make sure he's not gonna die-which is really bad because Hya is what people would consider a 'stubborn lone wolf'. He doesn't like receiving help or receiving pity and insists on doing things his way which often ends up to be his downfall. Going back to the whole weak constitution thing, though- because he doesn't like to burden people (surprise surprise. this boi acts like impulsiveness incarnate and turns out he doesn't like to burden others.) he often takes on things on his own shoulders and bears it without telling others. He also tends to turn to unhealthy methods to cure his problems-he's got a whole bunch of drugs he takes in order to help his narcolepsy, asthma, and occasional anemia (which is a result of his second power) even though they're not good for his already not-so-healthy body. Oh yeah and finally you could totally mistake him to be a Taurus because of his different sides and stubborness instead of a Libra. He don't like peacemeaking he like starting fights! He don't like backing down he likes to fight till the bitter end! One side of him is black and the other is white-violent and docile! Etc.!

POWER 1: Paintings of La Luna. (la luna=the moon in Italian) Often shortened to just 'lunar painting', it's pretty much just what it sounds like. Hya can take any light source nearby and by using his hands or drawing items he can channel that into pure energy to create drawings, which then turn into whatever he's just drawn it. For instance, he could draw say uh a dragon. The light would like gather into his paintbrush and then turn into white-ivory strokes in the air to form the basic outline of a dragon. The paintings can only be activated by Hya (or by someone who's been granted permission by Hya or by someone with a power to forcibly activate powers) and once they are activated the actual 3-D shape of what Hya wanted will form right into the air. He can choose whether they're solid or only half solid, half brush strokes. They are unable to be hurt by natural means (like guns and bombs and such) and can only be dispelled if the time limit runs out (Hya can only keep one painting up for about fifteen minutes or a little longer) or by hurting Hya, who's the one who's doing all of it. Currently at the moment he can't create anything bigger than a dragon the size of an average-sized house (and that can only last like three minutes) Someone once stated that 'his power(s) were very unpleasant... It felt all tangled up and disorderly and like all over the place... as if it was some kind of power-lization of a person's feelings.' That reflects his personality and part of the reason why Hya doesn't have such a good hold on his creations. Sometimes they won't follow his commands and go off on their own, sometimes they'll think a person they're trying to attack is good and end up not attacking them, and sometimes... they even got ATTITUDE! But yeah uh besides his creations sassing back to Hya (they make for great conversation starters) they're pretty strong I guess and it's handy for like creating little things for the spur-of-the-moment type of things like a pen or a gun... The downside is they vanish after a certain amount of time, and like I mentioned, Hya's power in this one depends on the moon phases. He's strongest (practically undefeatable) during the night and a full moon, the weakest during the day and a new moon. 

POWER 2: Seiza no yūrei. (seiza no yūrei=constellations' ghosts in Japanese) Often shortened to just 'Seiza Yurei', again, it's just what it sounds like. I'm pretty sure I don't need to remind you about what constellations are or what types there are, so on to how it corresponds to the power! Basically, Hya can 'call upon' a constellation (by calling out the constellation's name) and it'll like form in the sky and come down in a ghostly kind of form of what the constellation embodies. It acts as his personal little bodyguard and obeys his every order for about six to ten minutes before vanishing. The constellations are unable to be hurt by natural means (like guns and bombs and such) again and can only be dispelled if the time limit runs out or by hurting Hya, the one who's acting as a connection between the stars and the human world. (He's channeling the power of the 'star world' into him and then out him into coropeal 'human world' forms, basically) Each constellation he summons also comes with a handy-dandy lil side power of sorts! For example, he could call on 'Aquila' and a giant eagle made of stars would come down to help him, but also give him the power to fly for about five minutes or so. However, by accessing the side powers he also shortens the time the constellations are with him drastically, because constellations don't belong in the human world-they belong in the star world! Unlike his painting creations (his first power) these constellations won't disobey him or stray from their task; they are faithful servants to 'Master Hyacinth' and in turn Hya provides them with magic from his body to power them; however this makes him much weaker than normal after using his powers (as in if he tries to summon more than one constellation at a time he'll start to burn up with a nasty fever and cough up blood and his asthma also hates him then)

TRIVIA:

- As you can tell from the many times I've called him in this form, Hyacinth's unofficial permanent nickname is 'Hya'. (Pronounced 'Hee-ya' or 'Hi-ya') Sometimes people might call him 'Cinth' or 'Cinthy' but for some reason people just love to call him Hya. (Maybe it's 'cause people love to piss him off when they greet him by saying 'Hiya, Hya!' because the two words sound nearly identical)

- Has a little bag on him at all times (custom-made from Florence, Italy!) that has three pouches:  one to hold his folding paper, one with his drugs that keep him awake when he's about to fall asleep along with his inhaler for when his asthma attacks out of nowhere because it's a little shit, and the third half filled with his brushes and the other half with basic survival needs and things to wake him up if he does fall asleep (along with a detailed mini instruction book on how to wake him up)

- When he's slightly distracted or not completely 'in it' he'll mumble things under his breath in a mixture of English, Italian, and Japanese (like in the third quote)

- He cannot. Cook. I repeat Hya has no idea how to cook he is terrible at it he will burn anything he tries to cook or put in the wrong amount of things while he's distracted. And he is currently trying to raise a garden... 

- Telltale signs of when he's feeling flustered or trying to say something is when A. He's biting his lip really hard B. He's practically become a wet noodle waving his hands/arms around C. He's word vomiting and D. His hair's reacting as well. For some strange reason whenever he's frazzled his hair reflects that as he gets more frazzled the more frazzled his hair gets.

- Likes to create random little cute butterflies or cats with his first power when he thINKS he's alone and have them keep him company. (Can be childish and weird at the weirdest times...)

- When he's really into something he will nonstop study about it. He will literally even neglect eating and sleeping until he's got it down.

- Hya created his own style of fighting by combining taekwondo, kung fu, and karate coupled with phantamasgoric movements. His parents thought it'd be good for him to have a private tutor so he could 'let off steam' but Hya scared all the tutors away when he learned it all in a week of sleepless days of continuous learning and beat them to a pulp. (In his own words: "But you said I could use this as a way to let off steam!") So he just studied up and created 'Hya-Style Fighting' instead.

CUSSING?: Of course~! He doesn't curse much but he does curse in Italian and Japanese under his breath a lot, occasionally swearing at people when he's fighting. He cusses the most when he's been aggravated.
