Here's the Ophiuchus, Pauch! ^O^

[NOTE: I have taken out all information regarding the zodiac Legion since this is a special case.]

[NOTE TWO: Since Ophi's currently 'sleeping' and I don't know when he's gonna wake up or if he's ever gonna get any serious screentime, I'm just going to write in terms of what he'd be like if and when he wakes up.]

[NOTE: As the scientists have wiped parts of his memory and it wasn't the very best in the beginning, he sort of forgot his real name and currently goes by what the scientists/superiors WHATEVER I'M CALLING THEM SCIENTISTS call him, which is 'Ophiuchus'.]

nickname║ Ophi, The Cure, The Mysterious Man

age║ 339 (believes he's still in his teens... like 19-ish.) IF THIS IS TOO OLD TELL ME AND I'LL GLADLY LOWER IT!

gender║ genderfluid, mainly male (so we'll just refer to Ophi as he/him throughout this form just for the sake of ease) He became genderfluid after all the testing and prodding the scientists did to him. :'(

sexuality║ Demisexual Panromantic (actually technically... he's got no clue... he just assumes that he'll understand it better once he meets someone and he 'clicks' with them.)

birthday║ He forgot. Besides it's not like the scientists care anyways... *le sob for Ophi*

I was going to go with a white-haired Ophiuchus, but... I gave in and let him have long pink hair. The last picture is what he'd look like if he ever decided to cut it, it's pretty long after years of being shut up after all.

backstory║ Ophiuchus grew up in an extremely strict household. His father and mother were both part of the army (his mother retired after a war to take care of him) so he was pretty much raised like he would be if he were in an army: strict curfews, a rather uncomfortable dress code, and pretty much limitations on everything he did from what he ate, how much skin was revealed, how he acted... he couldn't even make any friends without letting his father thoroughly inspect them to make sure they were 'good' for Ophi! Because of this, he was kind of lonely throughout most of his life, without anybody to accompany him, but he never fully hated his parents because hello, they were part of the army! He's heard first-hand the kind of horrors he could be exposed to if his parents didn't warn him and protect him. He knows it's for his own good, but that didn't stop him from yearning to explore outside and be free from the strict rules imposed on him, if only for a while. Things changed drastically, however, when the infection broke out. He was on the run with his father and mother when he got bitten; however to his and everyone else's extreme surprise, he didn't get infected. In fact, he was perfectly fine! This was a big turning point in his life because he could only hide it for so long. The moment the scientists found out they descended like the devil from hell upon him and kidnapped him unceremoniously from his parents for their twisted experiments, leaving only behind a brief note to his parents explaining the dealio. (And it didn't even rhyme! They have no sense of humor!) Since then, he's been 'sleeping' in the coffin and has yet to awaken...

[As for why I put backstory first again, it's because most times people connect their backstory for their OC to their personality-or the backstory explains how that person's personality is today. It's clearer that way which is why I do recommend you try it.]

personality║ [BEFORE WAKING UP] Because of all the rules that were pretty much drilled with an iron drill into his heart from the moment he could talk and walk properly, that highly influences his thoughts, actions, and decisions, often making him hesitate when making any kind of choice that goes against it. He's the kind of person that, unless it's a direct order, has trouble obeying because his mind usually goes to all the variations of the same order. (Basically, he overthinks a lot of things.) On the surface, Ophiuchus might seem like your typical plain person who will willingly submit to anything and anybody, but in truth he's still a child, a child who really hasn't had any chance to experience the true joys of life before they all disappeared. He wants to live like a normal person, with normal lives, have friends, fall in love... He's happy because he knows what his parents are doing is for the best, but still, y'know, he's kind of sad about it too. [AFTER WAKING UP] Ophiuchus is kind of basically the same, but now that his parents are dead (despite what he knows, he thinks they're still alive because he's not aware of the time he's spent locked up) or at least 'missing' to him, he can permit himself to break their rules a little. He's kind of the grandpa/dad friend in the group and since he's technically suuuuper old, he knows a lot of history! Unfortunately, that means he knows no~o~o~thing~ about the present day world! He's still that wide-eyed boy from ages ago who loves to explore and learn new things, who's just a naturally cheerful bean-although a bit on the airheaded side. He will freak out if something 'scandalous' happens in front of him (like PDA and cursing) and promptly give the 'rule-breakers' a long lecture on such. He wants the best for everyone and is slightly naive. He's the type of person who's afraid of 'shattering', so much so that he's willing to disillusion himself, but he's working on being braver to face reality. Ophi's also kind of jumpy and will flinch or jump violently if faced with some scary bug or thing from the modern-day world... like grasshoppers and spiders.

summary of personality and backstory║ Ophiuchus grew up in a very strict household and had strict rules imposed on him for most of his life, which influence the way he's like nowadays. He's a slightly naive but good-hearted boy who really just wants the best for everyone. Right now, he's sleeping in the coffin.

preferred weapon║ Well y'know he's in a coffin but if he were awake he would definitely know how to use his very high level of importance to his advantage. Other than that... yeah no. Let's just say he's severely behind. (But he knows how to swing his coffin up and use it as a weapon!)

strengths║ Ophi's basically untouchable as the only cure and person immune to the Infect so far. He's like vital in their plans to try and save everyone so it's like a taboo to harm a single hair on his head if it isn't for scientific purposes. That basically makes him the VIP of VIPs-you do anything to him, rest assured, sayonara! It's like he has an invisible shield around him from his status and reputation alone-and bonus, lots of advantages and leverage. Also, like I mentioned earlier he knows all sorts of ancient-but still very effective!-methods of fighting.

weaknesses║ While Ophiuchus may be a key factor in the scientists' plan and therefore granting him the advantages listed earlier above, besides his training from his parents, he doesn't have much means of defense. Physically, he's weak. Mentally, he's also weak because he's barely managed to have any time to catch up with the world. Ophi's like a baby bird, just barely spreading its wings and wobbling and learning about the world-naive, child-like, innocent. Both his brain and body are both addled which doesn't really help with his coordination. He doesn't have a clue about current day things or weapons and knows nothing about what's going on. Imagine he's Ariel experiencing the outside-the-sea world for the first time, and you've basically got the image of what he's like all the time. He literally needs constant surveillance all the time or he might accidentally hurt himself or worse kill himself accidentally with a weapon he didn't realize was a weapon.

likes║ Being outside his coffin, being useful/helpful, not being a burden/disappointment, helping others, the sunshine, people who don't really care how he appears to them, learning new things

dislikes║ The scientists that trapped him up, being a burden, disappointment directed towards him, failing others, 'scandalous' things

best qualities║ At his best, Ophi is influential, intelligent, and knows how to get his way. He's stubborn as hell and while he knows he's very different from everyone else, he ignores that and decides to act just like them anyways. He's able to get the upper hand on most fights with his ancient style of fighting, and knows a TON of ancient secrets about the world and the scientists. (Basically, the perfect blackmail person)

worst qualities║ Ophiuchus is extremely resistant to change. It's not that he doesn't see it, he just... doesn't accept it. He just doesn't want to. He's a naive and disillusioned person-he knows that perfectly well but he just doesn't know how to change that about himself. In order to cope with the harsh world they were suddenly thrown into, he kind of threw a 'cloth' over his eyes to keep his sanity intact.

family║ Lerina Zenifreeva (Mom) and Keon Zenifreeva (Dad). He got along pretty well both of them despite their harsh training, knowing that it was for the better good, and misses them a lot and wishes and hopes that they're doing fine and well. (He believes they're just somewhere out there, instead of actually dead.)

love interest║ Hm. Well. You see I don't really know because I want it to be a guy (No surprise there, it was either it be a girl and make him a lesbian or a guy and make him gay, and obviously one rules) but like... I don't know... I'll let you know if I have any potential candidates in mind.

- has the mannerism, speech, and thoughts of a very old and ripened and old-fashioned person making him the perfect person to go for 'growing up' advice and also conveniently the dad/grandpa friend.

- but also since he's been like frozen in time for like years, he literally nearly faints every time someone cusses... and don't let him near any advanced weapons like guns he'll either think it's a new scientist tool and accidentally shoot himself, or something to cook with and you'll see him using it to flip pancakes the next morning.

- too much physical contact/PDA is also a huge no-no for him, as is too much skin-revealing. If he sees anyone without a shirt right after training he'll fall over, not because he finds it hot but because he thinks it's scandalous.

- nevertheless, Ophi's fascinated by the current world. He's super old but in a way super young because he hasn't had a chance to or any time to adapt to the changes he seemingly believes appears out of nowhere during the rare times he gets to get out of the coffin.

thoughts on the people aboard the Inferno║ Scientists and people who just want to use him endlessly = no. He doesn't know anyone else aboard so... 

dedicated to saving Earth?║ Yeah, but he doesn't exactly agree with the methods of getting there...

when they see an Infect, reaction║ Knows that he can't be infected so he just kills them for the sake of everyone else. Or capture them for studious purposes if under orders to do so by the scientists.
