PERSONALITY| Despite his name that comes from the goddess of the night and darkness and such this boy and anything much. He is innocence incarnate, literally. He's optimistic and looks on the bright side all the time, believing there was nothing they could not fix with time; he's also quite childish in his actions and loves cute and/or childish things. Nyx is also super naive and you may have guessed; he's the type to make friends with the enemy, spill secrets after some obvious lies and bribing, won't realize he's in danger until he almost gets hurt (usually badly) and tends to make a situation worse without realizing it. Seriously he has no clue about social clues. Being a true Gemini in nature Nyx is rather flighty; he doesn't like being grounded to earth for too long (he goes flying at least once or twice a day) and is such a chatterbox. You can just see him chatting up people even if they look like they want to strangle him or are obviously not interested-oblivious all the while. Usually he needs someone else to step in for him before things get dangerous. He looooooves to meet new people and make friends above all else and is quite the pacifist, believing in peace before violence. He's much rather talk things out than fight it out and believes that everyone has a side they need to tell. However he's still easily tricked into things and doesn't realize it, insults usually roll off his back but still he's a bit dumb and dense all the same. -v-

BACKSTORY| He was discovered on the doorstep of his current family's house when he was just a baby in a basket and a blanket made of light brought down from the sky, freaking out his mom of course. After a few hours of discussion the two took him in since hey, he was cute and it's not like they had any other choice! They named him Nyx after his dark hair and because they were mythology geeks secretly. Growing up Nyx had a good life, but it was a frenzied one because even though his parents loved him with all their hearts they were both very busy business people. So, Nyx grew up mainly on his own, doing his own thing and making friends out of inanimate objects. Then he turned thirteen and what do you know a monster crashes into his apartment and instead of running away Nyx goes "Oh hi! You want to join in on this tea party of mine?" A satyr just barely rescued him and took him to Camp Half-Blood where he got an explanation for why he could blow air around easily and why he could make light balls to throw into other people's houses for fun and why the monster was not a person that wanted in on their little tea party. Nyx went back to his house and told his parents that he'd found a good place to pass his time online and just like that he was given the oh-kay to go to Camp Half-Blood, where he found his second home because there were plenty of people just like him there! Yay!

He can also manipulate air to some point to wrap around people to fly or suffocate them partially. His light can't be put out by normal means because it is totally pure unless he wills it to.
