⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚      zombies have taken over the world for exactly 365 days or approximately a year. no cure, infecting virus, crowding zombies, an intoxicating scent wafting through the air. it started from a small town in the side of massachusetts. now, it's not only all over america but has already spread to the entire world. there is no escape. there is no survival. just keep running, just keep escaping. 

⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚      alexei mikhaylov, a young 23 year old man, graduated the top college of his hometown. he left his family and friends to pursue his dream job as a software engineer. one day, just the previous day of his recent project deadline, the news hummed gently into his drowsy life.

⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚      alexei silently admired at the screen with half lidded eyes, his body tiredly standing up as he watched videos of screams and horrors flood into the tv. he allowed a shaky sigh to escape his lips as he stared at his locked front door, flinching as loud knocks echoed into the empty house. screams, pleads, and groans rang into his head. exhaustion dragged himself away from reality. the tv blaring into the dark room was muted. alexei dreadfully ran upstairs to his room and laid in bed, his eyes dragging as he fell asleep, hoping this was a nightmare.

⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚      after the apocalypse started, he survived all 365 days in his home, only leaving in cases of food or water seeking, which eventually just came from the nearby supermarket. all of his neighbors were murdered mercilessly by the infected or commonly called zombies. he survived by himself in this empty neighborhood, blood and debris reeking in the thick air. cure, vaccine, whatever. those stuff, other people can do. he had one goal. live until he died of old age in his home, alone, peaceful, perfect.

⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚      that was until one day, he found someone sitting on top of the neighboring church's rooftop. regrets drowned his thoughts. but if not now, then when? for the first time in 365 days, alexei mikhaylov stepped out of his house for curiosity.

⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚      that is the synopsis. warning, this story will have gore, major character death, blood, betrayal, panic attacks, and a lot of trigger warnings, so proceeding means you will consent to being exposed to such content. don't blame me why i posted this. adri (sunslvra) forced me and we're making it into a collab fic now. this story's main is nothing close to romance. there might be flirty scenes and casual loving looks, but this fic revolves around how strangers create bonds in the case of a deathly apocalypse and manages to build trust with one another before ending up being ruined by insanity, dishonesty, and betrayal. 

⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚      there will be a lot and diverse characters. the main group will most likely have about 6 - 7 people, but there are additional characters who will serve as temporary companions. this won't be just a teen fic. it will involve dilfs- i mean middle aged people, people with children/grandchildren, married people, and etc etc. we didn't want a boring cast anyways. 

⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚      if you like happy endings, this is NOT your book. spoiler alert but people WILL die like a lot. i know it's hard to see your favorite sweetheart characters die, but this is a realistic apocalyptic fiction. it will revolve around them slowing being driven to selfishness. there will be scenes involving people having to kick others out of the group, kill someone, and create blame and arguments. this will mainly start out as comedy and adventure, but it will end in majorly angst, so trust me, don't take everything so casually. 

⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚      all character moodboards were by sunslvra and all story graphics were by me. all photos do not belong to us unless clearly stated. i will be mainly writing this book, but plot ideas and devices or basically all elements of the book will be discussed with adri. if you want to either use our ideas, use our ocs, or even make fan work of this stuff, you will need both of our permissions and need to credit us. 

⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚      if you want your oc to be mentioned or appear as a side character in the story even for a brief moment or slightly longer, you will need to be a moot (since i don't want this becoming a full on applyfic just yet) and you will need to fill out a small form i will send for your oc. if your oc gets little screen time compared to others, don't worry! they might appear again. but keep in mind they won't be an actual member in the cast, just a momentary buddy in the story, so don't get frustrated over them only getting a paragraph in an entire chapter.
