Third Person P.O.V

                 (Y/n) grew to be a beautiful 17 year old. A princess that everyone in the kingdom adored.

Except for her parents, as she grew they become cold and strict on (Y/n) especially when it came to wishes and magic.

The kingdom of Rosas was not what it seemed to be, while some wishes were granted, some were taken away and kept, where people couldn't remember them.

And forbid you stepped out of line, then you'd be put through the worst punishment of all, your wish being destroyed.

                   (Y/n) knew none of this due to people being forbidden from speaking of it at all....until that fateful day....

....

               The day was peaceful and calm in the castle, the maids and servants doing their duties and tending to the needs of the castle and the royal family.

It was disrupted when the young princess of Rosas ran down the halls, frantically searching for something.

"Missing something, Princess (Y/n)?" A maid asked with amusement at the girl's frantic state.

"Oh! I'm just looking for Valentino. Have you seen him?" (Y/n) questioned with a hopeful look, worried about her missing friend.

               "He passed here a few minutes ago," the maid answered before walking off to continue her duties.

"Thank you!" (Y/n) yelled as she ran off to find her little friend.

(Y/n) continued to walk down the hall to find Valentino when she yelped, suddenly feeling a small force bump into her legs.

She turned to see her little goat, Valentino, he had big green eyes and fluffy brown fur which was covered by his red sweater.

"Valentino! There you are bud!" (Y/n) picked up her baby goat with a smile before she realized he had cat scratches on him, "ugh, Lynx."

           (Y/n) hated that cat, he was vicious despite his small size and her mother loved that stupid cat more than anything.

(Y/n) heard a deep voice clear behind her and she turned around to see her father, King Magnifico, looking down at her with a stern look.

(Y/n)'s demeanor suddenly turned fearful at the sight of her father, she always felt nervous and small next to her parents who, as she grew, turned cold and harsh towards the girl.

"Father..." (Y/n)'s voice shook as she greeted him, Valentino lowering his head in fear.

"What did I say about coming near my study?" He asked with a cold glare.

                           "Not too..." She looked at her feet, not wanting to be punished.

"Very good!" Magnifico said with a sarcastic and condescending tone, which made Valentino glare at the man.

(Y/n) let out a small quiet sigh, "I apologize, Father....It will not happen again..."

"I would hope not. Me and your mother took you in when no one wanted you, we made you heir to the throne...don't throw it away." Magnifico threatened before going back into his study.

                  (Y/n) flinched as the door slammed, the girl looking down at her feet, her heart filled with sadness.

Both of her parents always brought that up and would threaten disowning her at times if she stepped out of line.

Valentino nudged the girl's leg, letting out a small noise as if to ask if she's okay.

(Y/n) shook herself out of her thoughts as she smiled at her little friend, "it'll be okay, Valentino...I know he loves me..." She said, even though there was a hint of hesitation...Did he love her?...

                    (Y/n) made it to her room, Valentino following right on her heels as he always did. She looked out the window down at her kingdom with sad eyes.

"It's changed so much Valentino....Rosas isn't the place I remember and I don't even know what's happening or how to stop it..." (Y/n) started to pace as the kid watched with curious eyes.

"There has to be something I can do right?..." (Y/n) faced Valentino before she face palmed, "Aaand I'm talking to a goat."

Valentino let out a small offended huff and playfully butted her legs, making her laugh a bit, "alright, alright, I get it!"

Valentino bounded down the hall as (Y/n) followed confused before her kid motioned to Magnifico's study.

                 (Y/n) gasped, "my dad's study?..." she asked, making Valentino nod. (Y/n) looked at the study conflicted...she had to make a decision here and now...something was going on....

Sorry this took so long guys! This book needs time to be kinda planned, I am rewriting the whole movie and I want it to be good!
