Y/n's POV

"The Jagerists have the harbor" Hange says

"The flying boat is still intact though"  Magath says

"The Jaegerists are probably keeping it because they don't want to lose the technology that the Azumabito family possesses, however they would likely destroy it if they knew we were here. Even with the power of the titans, stopping them would be hard" Hange says.

"We need to be careful about casualties" I say

"If the Azumabitos die, it isn't a big deal" Annie says

"We need the Azumabitos, without them the boat is just a wingless ship" Onyankopon says.

"Yeah both the boat and the Azumabitos need to be protected" I say

"Lets also avoid killing the Jaegerists" Armin says

"How will we be able to complete all of these tasks without killing the Jaegerists?" Connie asks. Armin doesn't respond.

"You guys can sit out of the fight" Reiner says.

"Not interested in that plan. Next" Hange says

"It looks like the Wall Titan have already arrived on the northeastern part of Marley" I say. Magath goes of to Yelena and covers her mouth. He then breaks her arm. I cover Marco and Zoe's eyes.

"Where is Eren Jaeger?" Magath asks

"Guys let's not torture her" Onyankopon says. He then stops.

"Sorry for last night, you guys shouldn't be judged for our ancestors actions. The Warriors shouldn't be burdened by the world's hatred either. I consider it my responsibility to ensure future generations are aware of their history and to do that, we need to stop Eren. Can you all overlook my actions?" Magath asks us

"No because you're getting your hands dirty" Armin says. The plan then begins. Me, Zoe, Marco, Hange, Jean, and Magath all head inside the building where the Azumabitos are being held.

"It would take atleast half a day to prepare the flying boat for travel" one of the engineers say.

"We can't hold the harbor that long. The Armored and Female Titan's powers only last a couple hours" Magath says

"We're too late, with half a day's delay, the Wall Titans could travel 600 kilometers inland from where they make landfall and trample the continent within 4 days. Even in the best-case scenario, it would already be too late for Liberio" Hange says. Kiyomi is momentarily stunned.

"Well we could take one of the ships in the harbor and tow the flying boat to Odiha. We can prepare and service it ahead of the Rumbling. Though Odiha will be in the path of the Rumbling, I believe it will be possible to get there before the titans do" Kiyomi says.

"I think this will work" Magath says. Hange and Jean split up to inform the others of the plan. We all head to the boat while the Jaegerists are distracted. I quickly have Marco and Zoe get on and I follow shortly after. Annie and Reiner are protecting us all.

They're not gonna be able to hold out at this rate

Magath brings an injured Armin on the ship

"Are you alright Armin?" I ask

"Yeah, I'll heal" He says. I then see Yelena, Onyankopon, Gabi and Levi enter the ship. We all then see a huge flash.

"Did Falco just transform?!" Gabi asks.

"Gabi you're in charge" Magath says as he exits the ship. I see Floch aim a Thunder Spear at the ship and me and Gabi both quickly shoot his arm.

"WE'RE READY! EVERYONE GET ON!" Onyankopon yells. Suddenly Falco begins attack the Survey Corps and Pieck. Pieck tries calming him down but fails. Falco then bites Pieck almost ripping her nape. Pieck then holds Falco down. Magath uses a blade from the Vertical Maneuvering Equipment and cuts Falco out. He carries Falco to the ship, alongside Hange who is helping an injured Pieck. Annie is being carried by Mikasa and Reiner is being carried by Connie and Jean. Magath hands an unconscious Falco to Onyankopon while everyone else gets on board. I quickly rush over to Reiner.

"LEAVE! I NEED TO BRING UP THE REAR!" Magath yells. The boat begins to leave. We all look back and see a large mushroom cloud billow into the sky.

Magath..

"We need to go to Liberio" Annie says as she's held back by Mikasa and Jean.

"We don't have time to save Liberio, which is why we're going to Odiha" Hange says. Annie falls to the floor.

"I have no reason to fight if he's dead" Annie says

"You have to continue fighting, Magath understood that Liberio and Marley couldn't be saved, but he sacrificed himself anyway so that the rest of us could save as many people as possible" Hange says

"Will the Survey Corps be able to kill Eren Jaeger? If I tried to kill him, would you be able to sit back and watch?" Annie asks. Shortly after her demeanor weakens.

"I don't want to fight anymore. I dont want to kill Mikasa, the Survey Corps or Eren for that matter" Annie says

~Time Skip~

We finally arrive in Odiha.

The city is deserted

"Can you get the flying boat ready before the Rumbling crosses the nearby mountains?" Hange asks

"We will, no matter what it takes. Please save Hizuru" Kiyomi says. We all then lug the flying boat into a hanger where the Azumabito engineers can begin their work. I see Levi trying to walk around. I head to his side.

"You need to get back in bed" I say as Armin walks next to me

"No, Yelena woke up from her fever" Levi says. Me and Armin go to Yelena.

"Eren's next target will probably be the research boat at Fort Santa, flying boats are a threat so he'll want to take those out first. You have to admit that Zeke's euthanization plan was right, especially given the circumstances we are facing right now" Yelena says

"I do, Eren had no solutions or future for us either" Hange says.

~An hour before take off~

"Can you all check you equipment?" Hange asks. They all begin inspecting their equipment including Levi with his shaky hands.

He's missing multiple fingers and he's still trying to fight.

He notices us all staring

"2 fingers are all I need" Levi says. I then see Annie wave goodbye to us.

"Bye Armin" Annie says as she turns away.

"Are you okay with this?" Mikasa asks

"I'm glad" Armin says as he looks down.

"You guys are all okay with being in the operation, given how Eldians will be treated after this right?" Hange asks

"I understand but Magath left us Warriors with a final order which is to work together. Me and Reiner intend to see it through" Pieck says

"So can I ride the Cart Titan's shoulders?" Hange asks. I face palm

"No" Pieck says

"Idiot" Levi says.

"Do you think our dead comrades are watching us?" Hange asks

"Don't start talking like him" Levi says

Erwin..

I then hear gunshots. I run over to see Mikasa shoot her Vertical Maneuvering Gear into Floch's neck.

"We can repair it in an hour" One of the engineers says. The ground begins to shake

Crap

"Don't go, you'll....all...die"  Floch says right before he dies

"I agree but we can't give up" Hange says

"I'll stay behind and slow down the Wall Titans" Armin says

"No. You're our only hope at stopping Eren. I'll stay behind" Reiner says

"No you can't!" I say as I look at him

"Y/n is right. We can't afford to lose anymore titans. I was the one who led you all up to this point. I will be the one to take responsibility for staying behind." Hange says.

No...

I begin to tear up

"Armin Arlert, I appoint you as the 15th Commander if the Survey Corps. You're unyielding desire for understanding is why you are now Commander." Hange says. Before Hange can leave I quickly run over and hug him.

"Please don't go" I say as tears fall down my face.

"Don't look at me like that Y/n... I have to... You will always be my favorite human being" He says as he hugs me back. He then steps back and Reiner hugs me from behind to comfort me. Levi sets his fist against Hange's chest.

"Devote your heart" Levi says. Hange smiles and then leaves to face the titans. The boat has been prepared and we begin to take off

"Farewell" Levi says. I scream as I begin sobbing. Reiner holds me close as I fall to the ground.

"Mommy what's wrong?" Zoe asks. I was too heartbroken to even answer her. Jean picks her up and takes her away.

I continue to cry and Reiner rubs my back. I grip Reiner's shirt tightly as I shake

He was like a father to me...

"Hange.... you.... jerk" I say in between sobs
