We dont need to hear the sob story of Eren's childhood. So we're skipping that bit.

Y/n's POV

Here we are. I'm apart of the 104th Cadet Corps. Commander Sadies is trying to psychologically break us. He goes to a blonde girl first.

"CADET! WHAT IS YOUR NAME?!" He yells

"Annie Leonhart" She says in a bored tone. Sadies didn't seem to like that.

"I DIDN'T KNOW MY CADETS WERE ENTITLED PIECES OF TRASH!" He yells. She doesn't care once again and he heads to his next victim which happens to be Mikasa.

"WHAT IS YOUR NAME CADET?!"

"Mikasa Ackerman sir"

"WHERE ARE YOU FROM?!"

"Shiganshina District Sir" Everbody seemed to gasp at thay except for me, Eren and Armin. He nodded and went to a blonde guy. He had a muscular build. He was kind of attractive as well.

"WHAT IS YOUR NAME CADET?!"

"Reiner Braun!"

Reiner huh? I'll keep note of that.

I smiled and it seemed like the commander noticed.

"WHAT ARE YOU SMILING ABOUT CADET?! IS SOMETHING FUNNY?!"

"Just the left over food in your teeth" I say smiling. Everyone was now staring at me. If looks could kill, I would be dead. There was steam coming out of his ears he was so mad. Some of the cadets were trying hard not to laugh.

"WHAT IS YOUR NAME CADET?!"

"Y/n Jaeger"

"WELL JAEGER, YOU JUST EARNED YOURSELF 500 LAPS AND NO DINNER! NOW GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!"

I began jogging to where we ran laps but not before waving and smiling at Reiner. He blushed.

Reiner's POV

That chick is kind of hot. I wouldn't mind getting lost in her e/c eyes. She's also got some guts. She's no scaredy-cat that's for sure.

"WHAT IS YOUR NAME CADET?!"

"Bertholdt Hoover sir"

Don't break Bertholdt.

"YOU LOOK LIKE A COWARD! YOUR NO MAN! GROW A PAIR!" The commander moves onto someone else.

"WHAT IS YOUR NAME CADET?!"

"Eren Jaeger sir"

Wait Jaeger..

"ARE YOU RELATED TO THAT FAILED ABORTION RUNNING LAPS?!"

"Yes sir! That is my twin sister!" The commander moves over to his next victim.

"WHAT IS YOUR NAME CADET?!"

"Ymir sir!"

"WHAT IS YOUR NAME CADET?!"

"Armin Arlert!"

That's a dude?!

"YOU'RE PATHETIC! CUT YOUR HAIR! YOU LOOK LIKE A WOMAN!" The commander looks at a girl eating a potato.

Why does she have a potato?

We all stare at her.

"CADET! WHY ARE YOU EATING A POTATO?!"

"I was hungry... sir!" She says with her mouth full.

"LET ME ASK YOU AGAIN! WHY ARE YOU EATING A POTATO CADET?!" She then splits the potato in half and gives him a piece.

"We can share if you want"

"CADET! GO JOIN JAEGER! 500 LAPS AND NO DINNER! GET THE HELL OUT OF MY SIGHT!" The girl ran over to when Y/n was.

Eren's POV

Me, Armin, Marco, Connie, and Mina watch Y/n and Sasha run.

"Y'know Y/n has really good stamina" Conny says

"Yeah she's always been in shape." I say.

"Although Sasha looked more freaked out over the fact there would be no dinner for her than the running" Mina says. We all nod

"How come you didn't really react to Commander Sadies?" Marco asks

"Me, Armin, Y/n, and Mikasa are all from Shiganshina" I say. Everyone's eyes widen except for Armin's.

"So what did they look like?" Conny asks

"Were they scary?" Mina asks

"How big was it?"

"Did you watch it kill someone?!" After that question I remembered my mother being eaten. I felt really sick.

"Guys let's not ask Eren anymore questions. He probably doesn't want to remember these things" Marco says.

"No it's fine. This is why I want to join the Scout Regiment" I say.

"The Scout Regiment? What are you? A suicidal maniac? You should be like me and join the Military Police, where you'll live comfortably" Jean says. I get angry and we begin to fight. Before we could get physical the bell rings and we both drop it. We all head out. Mikasa follows behind me.

"You need to keep your emotions in check! Control them Eren" Mikasa says.

"Your hair is getting long Mikasa. You should cut it" I say.

Y/n's POV

Me and Sasha finally finished 500 laps. I decide to head to the showers when my legs give out. Before I face plant strong arms catch me. They pull me up and I see Reiner.

"Thanks. I would've face planted if you didn't catch me" I say.

"It's no problem. I um got you some bread" He says as he holds out some bread for me. I look at him with stars in my eyes.

"Wanna get married?" I ask as a joke. His face turns red but I didn't notice as I was more concerned on the bread. I take it from his hand and happily eat it.

"Reiner you're the best" I say as I eat the bread.

"I wouldn't go that far" He says. He then holds out a canteen full of water for me. I smile and take it. I drink out of it and hand it back.

"You're literally a life saver" I say as I hug him thankful that he brought me food.

Reiner's POV

She hugged me. I got game. Yes I do.

I hug back and then notice her hold loosed. I assumed she was going to break the hug but she was still laying on my chest. I looked down to see her asleep. I sigh. I picked her up bridal style and began walking to find one of the girls. Along the way I ran into Eren.

"What are you doing with my sister?!" Eren asks.

"Oh she fell asleep so I was looking for one of the girls" I say. Eren nods and points to Mikasa over there. I thank him and walk over to Mikasa. She looks over at me and sees Y/n. Her face darkens.

"What are you doing with Y/n?" She asked in a low voice.

"Bringing her to one of the girls" I say. Mikasa glares at me.

"If I find out you did anything to her. You're going to wish a Titan ate you" She says as she picks up Y/n. I sweat drop and head back to the boys dorm.

~Next Day~

Y/n's POV

I wake up and notice I'm in a bed.

"How the-" I begin

"Reiner carried you here" Mikasa says.

"Reiner carried me?" I say as I turn in embarrassment.

"Did he do something to you?" Mikasa asks. I recall last night.

"After I finished my 500 laps he brought me food and water and then I can't remember anything else" I say. Mikasa seems satisfied with my answer and leaves it at that.

~Time Skip~

We're practicing with ODM gear. I'm actually really good at it... although I can't say the same for Eren.. Later he asks me for advice and I try helping him which causes him to hit his head and knock him out cold.

"Eren?!" I ask. No response. I got him out of the gear and picked him up.

Stupid brother.

~Dinner Time~

"Oh look its the guy who's gonna kill all titans" R/c(Random Cadet)says. I roll my eyes.

"Can't even work ODM gear" R/c continues.

"Hey, Im trying to eat my meal in peace and I can't do that when all that garbage is coming out of your mouth" I say glaring at him. He walks over and grabs my collar. He pulls me towards his face and glares.

"I suggest you shut your pretty mouth if you know what's good for you" He says. My face darkens and I can hear Eren, Mikasa and Armin gulp.

"Hey do-" Reiner begins
"I'm gonna give you 5 seconds to get your hand off me before I break it" I say smiling. He doesn't listen.

"I warned you" I say as I grab his hand and squeeze it with immense force. He let's go of my collar.

"Ow ow ow" He says. We all then hear a snap.

"That's one finger. Shall I continue?" I ask smiling. Everyone in the room has taken a couple steps back and has a look of fear on their face.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Please let go!" He says. I let go of his hand. I then turn to everyone else and smile innocently. They all sweat drop.

~Next Day~

"Eren you can do it!" I say as Eren attempts to use the ODM gear. If he fails they're sending him home. He stays up for a couple seconds before falling down. I sigh but then notice his gear is broken

"Hey Commander" I say

"What do you want Jaeger?!"

"Eren's ODM gear is broken" I say. He takes a closer look and his eyes widen

"Well isn't that a twist" Eren switches gear with Thomas and he stays balanced.
I can't believe he kept his balance with broken gear.

"Jaeger that is impressive that you could stay balanced for even a couple of seconds with defective gear" Sadies says.
