Species:
Avians have been around for millions of years, and instead of evolving, they've been devolving.

Evolution:
They used to be able to live for around 80,000 to 90,000 years, but now only live for around 1,000 to 2,500 years.
They also developed a weakness to iron and steel.
Their wings, full breeds, now, have four, stronger and faster, wings, instead of their original two. Halfbreeds have two.
The understanding of magic grew, with more Avians knowing how to use it.

Advantages.
•Four wings, faster flyers and stronger backlashes with them.
•Extremely advanced technology, but they rarely use it.
•The use of Magic
•Four hearts; can live if they have their main heart intact.

Disadvantages.
•Can't touch iron or steel.
•Can't go without food for three months, but after around two weeks they start to go crazy with hunger, attacking anything. If they starve for a week, and they eat a meal around 3-5 ounces, they'll throw it up.
•Nocturnal.

Deadly:
•Iron, steel.
•Main heart being destroyed.
•Blood loss.

Extra information.
Avians can only fall in love once. Different colored wings mean different things.
They used to be known as Angels, but, as they developed and developed, they became known as Avians, or winged creatures, by other species.
