When using the lolipop tool (Definitely calling it that now) and the burn tool (which looks like a hand and is in the same group as the lolipop tool) you can click at the top to change it from Midtones, highlights and shadows.

I recommend using midtones (which i've used in my previous tutorials) for manips and highlights for some drama. Yeah the highlights are kinda a lot...

The blur tool can smooth skin that looks grainy/pixely because of the quality of the photo
