The members of the zodiac sat grieving over the loss of their friend, until a portal opened and none other than the Oracle stepped out and ran toward Brigit's body, 

"I came as soon as I got the message," she said looking at Stanford, she clicked twice and the Axolotl ran toward her, she spoke in a series of clicks and kneeled next to Brigit's body and felt her forehead. 

"There was a bright light did something take her spirit?," Dipper stepped forward "there was an angel that stepped, out of the light, she said something about Brigit having to make a choice." 

 "That angel is the angel of crossroads when someone is unsure about a subconscious decision they need to make the angel takes their soul to the spirit realm, and gives them her counsel." The Oracle stood up "weep not! Brigit lives, she must choose her path in life, so the Angel will give her a choice between this life and death, 'tis all up to her only she can decide her fate." 

 Brigit woke up in a bleak landscape, there was nothing except and woman with the wings of a demon, "Ah, I see you've awoken" she turned around and Brigit came face to face with her mother, "Mom," Brigit said her eyes tearing up she ran to hug her, "you're the angel of the crossroads?"

 "Yes, well to you I am, to others I come in many different forms." "so I'm dead?' "no, if you wish to return to your physical body you may at any time, but let me make you an offer, I know how much pain you're in all the time you put on such a brave smile, and fight through it but here you won't have to you can stay and never leave you can be here with me and we can help others, together."  

Brigit thought, "what if I want to go back?" "well, some of your abilities will be depleted and gone forever, you won't be able to shape-shift, or make deals, and only time will tell what others It will take away." "W-w-wait deal making? that's all I've ever wanted to get taken away, it's horrible and I feel like my dad when I make deals like I'm going to be evil like him," 

she said and began to cry, "but" she said drying off her face, "there's another reason I want to go back, there's someone down there I want to spend the rest of my life with, I would rather be in hellish pain than, pass up the opportunity to live, laugh, and grow old together." Her mother smiled, she spread her wings and floated above Brigit, there was a bright light and, then black.

"What if she's gone forever?' Bendy said he began to cry big inky tears, he was being comforted by Alice and Borris. "No, Brigit will live said the Oracle" "How can you be so sure," said Dipper," OUCH" cried Mabel, "Onion, no biting" she scolded, Onion, kept scuttling, and clicking, the Oracle jumped up and ran over to the body, a light was gathering around it and a small ball of light floated into Brigit's body, 

"she has made her choice." a voice echoed, a harsh coughing sounded from behind, Brigit laid on the grass blinking in the light, she sat up and looked directly at Dipper, "My back hurts... I think my ribs are broken too, she prodded her pelvis nope that's okay," she sat up and stood up "Upsie daisy..." she said rubbing her back she noticed everyone staring at her and then she finally registered what happened, everyone smiled or stood agape"Ya know how I said you were gonna be stuck with me for the next few years." they nodded, "stuck with me for the next few years means I'm not gonna die anytime soon." Bendy came and trapped her in a death Grip hug and everyone hugged her or cried or did a jig in Mcgucket's case.

 "How in the world are you alive?" asked Dipper and Bendy, "the Angel gave me a choice, between staying with her or coming back home. I wanted to stay here, this is my home and it always will be. It was a hard decision, and the strange thing is that the angel was in the form of my mother." 

Bendy ran toward her, "You mean Billy was the angel of the crossroads." she nodded  "what did the angel do to you said the Oracle, "she said I if wouldn't stay behind she said some of my powers would be gone for good dealmaking was thankfully one of them, she made the thorns go away." 

As she turned her back the Oracle looked in surprise, "What did she mean?" Bendy,  and Stanford asked "Deal-making is how dream demons live, it's also what keeps them alive, I told Brigit from the start if she didn't make deals she would die, but she kept refusing and finally she started having these horrible hallucinations, one of them was so bad she ruined the vision in her left eye, that's why she has that eye patch, the Axolotl amulet she wears keeps her from having those hallucinations, 

but the thing about the thorns that's, another side effect, she feels constant burning and poking, and I could never make an amulet powerful enough to stop her pain. "But now that that ability was taken away the pain stopped?" asked Stanford "yes," said the Oracle smiling "it did." They all walked back to the Mystery Shack, which was in shambles, but they were so relieved it wasn't damaged beyond repair, they called some workman and the repairs started right away. 

That night everyone was invited to Mabel, Dipper's, and Brigit's 13th/13000 birthday. That night Brigit sat in bed staring out the window, pale moonlight streamed in and the only sound was an occasional sigh from Dipper or Mabel and a grunt or two from Waddles, it was too quiet she grabbed Mabel's radio and a CD (song in media) and she decided to go outside and dance. 

Dipper was awoken by distant music, "She always has a smile, from the morning to the night-", "The light from your eyes made it feel like, we were dancing in the moonlight-", he looked out the window and saw Brigit dancing, he tugged on his shoes and ran to the door, "Hi, whatcha doing"he said "Oh nothing much, just dancing" not a word was said but he grabbed her and kissed her on the mouth, "Damn"  she said "I could go for another one of those!" They both laughed and later she grabbed him and trapped him in a hug, she whispered"Thank you for everything, and I really and truly mean everything,"  and with that, they spent the night dancing to celebrate defeating their demons.
