With my subtle breaths, I could hear myself.
Took a step towards the stage,
Calming my growing rage.
My breath hitched, as I saw him standing all by himself.

Few days back, we were happy together in a shell.

Pairs of thousand eyes, yet his stood out in my sight.
A pang in my heart, tears I fight.

As our eyes met my throat went dry.
Unable to sing, I stood there fazed and wry.
The time stopped so did my mind.
It was him and him, my comfort that I defined.

Shattered like the glass both our souls cried.
Craving for those emotions, we let go for our pride.
I was the star shining so bright.
He was the cloud limiting me at the night.
