Jimin's pov
It was the next day.
The previous day, the door was finally opened by the janitor when he came up to clean. I missed my study date with Minjun, but I wasn't that upset about it. The school day was almost over and I decided to break up with Jungkook. I was going to be completely honest with him.
"Jungkook-ah" I reached where he was at his locker packing up his things after a long day. "Are you excited for our date tonight?"
Oof. I forgot. "Yeah, about that-"
"If you already have plans, we can reschedule." He suggests. I shook my head. "Jungkook. I'm breaking up with you." I looked him in the eyes. He looked at my face looking for some kimd of joking expression, but found none. His face red with anger and hit tears spilling out of his eyes.
I was shocked by his reaction thinking that he would take it lightly, but turns out I was wrong. "If it's someone else.." his voice trailed off as he cracked his knuckles. "Wait! Don't you want me to be happy?" I ask. "Yeah! Happy with me! Not with some other guy!" His already red face just got redder.
"If it's Taehyung..." he must've seen my expression, because he pushed my back on his locker making a loud noise. A crowd formed around us.
"Is it Taehyung?" He demanded. With Jungkook above me like that, I felt scared. I nodded slowly unsure of what he would do to Taehyung. He leaned in and kissed me roughly biting and pulling my lips before retracting his lips from mine. He traced a finger over my abused pink lips.
"Goodbye. Have fun with Taehyung." He grabbed his backpack and slung it over his shoulder before walking away. The crowd left, too gossiping loudly.
Was it really that easy?
I brushed it off and packed my things to leave. I decided to ignore Minjun and our language essay for this week because I didn't want to have to talk to Minjun.
I walked home as fast as I could checking behind me every now and then because after being kidnapped, I was quite paranoid.
I reached my apartment and unlocked the door throwing my backpack on the couch. I ran back outside and made my way to Taehyung's house. I rang the doorbell in hopes that Taehyung was home.
The door opened and I saw Taehyung's mother. I was disgusted by her after what Taehyung had told me about her.
"Oh, it's you." She growled pulled me by the collar. She practically threw me on the floor angrily. "You have no right being around my son you gay!" I was hurt. She had always been nice to me when I was younger. Even the last time I came.
At that moment the front door opened revealing Taehyung. His face was surprised followed by anger clouding his pretty face. "Get away from him!" He barked. I felt safer knowing that Taehyung was here.
Taehyung's mother grabbed a vase filled with fresh flowers and threw them at him. Taehyung dodged it skillfully and grabbed my wrist running to his room. He locked the door.
"Out the window! Let's go!" He whisper yelled. He pulled a duffel bag from under his bed. I was about to ask when he whispered again. "C'mon! We don't have time!" I climbed out the window after Taehyung who landed on the roof and carefully slid off. I did the same, but me being clumsy almost gave Taehyung a heart attack when I slipped.
He jumped into his car and I jumped into the passenger seat. He drove away as fast as he could. "Where are we going?" He didn't answer. I just assumed he was trying to focus.
We arrived at a farm looking place that had cown and pigs surrounding it. There was a big small warehouse that I assumed has other animals inside. Although, the warehouse seemed to have no doors.
He got out ofnthe car and I carefully followed behind him. He walked up to the warehouse and placed his hand on the wall. I stared at him blankly. "This isn't a spy show, you know?"
"Shh!" He said rolling his eyes. "I need to concentrate!" He fussed. With that, I stopped talking and let him do whatever he was trying to do. "Got it!" He said proudly. My eyes widened in surprise as the walls opened up revealing a door.
He put a 10 digit pin in, and the door swiftly opened. He rushed me inside and the door shut immediately.
The room was completely dark until Taehyung clapped. The lights switched on, and I could see everything. It looked like the inside of a mansion. Everything looked vintage and expensive. The room was decorated with all sorts of furniture and pictures framed and hung on the wall.
"Wow." I muttered under my breath. "Since my father passed, one of his men sent me a message letting me know that he left this in his will for me. Being mafia fortunately pays well." He bragged with a smirk on his face.
I looked around my eyes wide open in awe. "You mean this is all yours?" I ask. He nodds. "I'll be staying here from now on. I can't live with my mother any longer." His face dropped. "I'm sorry. About what she said to you. I should've told you not to go." He sighed.
I embraced him in a warm hug.
"Now what?" I ask.
"For us or for me?" He questions.
"For us."
Sorry, I feel like this one was really boring! Let me know what you think.
