No One's POV
It was late at night as the moon lighted up a path. Two bunnies hopped along a young lady as she headed to her destination. The breeze made her long hair move gracefully.
As she walked down the path, the two bunnies quickly hid in a burrow as a demon hissed, coming out of a dark black puddle.
Before it could attack her, she pulled out a sword and stared at him in the eyes. She sliced his arm and whispered,
"Wisteria Breathing, Eight Form: Violets of blind fury".
As she finished, she punctured the demon in the eyes with a poison made of violets and lavender, slowing his regeneration.
Just as he started screaming she cut off his head, kicking his body to the side as it dissolved. "You will not disturb the peace of this path anymore."
As she silently whistled, her crow dove down and landed on her shoulder. "Caw! Mission complete!!" the bird crowed as he faced the other way from her ear.
"That's enough Karasu," she said as she gave him some bread crumbs. The crow nibbled the crumbs as Yasu looked around the road.
"Guess everyone already headed out huh" she mumbled. She continued her walk down the road with her crow circling her.
Her name was Yasu Kimura, a young lady who joined the Demon Slayer Corps. When she was 17. She has long grey hair which is tied with a red circle thing near the end and empty green eyes. She wears an oversized-sleeved uniform with a skirt that ends above her knees.
Although she is given missions in a group she prefers to take care of it on her own, risking her own life.
Up ahead Yasu saw a small village filled with lights and wisteria trees. The wisteria surrounded the whole village as it moved with the air. This village was known as a small refugee for tired demon slayers and travelers.
Yasu entered the village and admired the beauty of it. Although it is a small place, it's lively with people and places. At a food stand could be seen a small group of demon slayers eating udon.

On the other side of that path is a couple looking over small wooden figures owned by an elder.
Yasu signaled her crow to her shoulder and started looking around for a place where she could eat.
Everywhere she went seemed full or closed until she found a specific place. A place that unlocked a memory.
Yasu POV
There he was. The man who used to sell pork cutlets and curry where I used to live.
He would always open on weekdays and had a small cart open with snacks during the weekend. Now he's older but the place still smells like years ago.
I remember always saving my money so I could buy a rice ball for myself. The lady who took care of me would always buy it for her children and leave me the leftover money and bits of food. Now I can enjoy a meal all for myself.
I slowly walked to the stand and sat down. I started looking around the food place admiring it all. I looked at the shelf, full of toys and special pots.
"I remember the day that little boy gave me that customized koma. Had a lot of talent for that kind of stuff."
"Good evening sir," I said as I bowed slightly. "Good evening young lady. What brings you here to this elders shop?" the man said with a slight chuckle.
I couldn't help but smile slightly. "I was wondering if you had any curry left so I could buy it."
"Lucky for you young lady I have some from earlier today. Let me prepare some for you," he told me as he headed to get a pot. It felt nostalgic being here.
As if I went back in time.
No one's POV
It was a sunny day up in the mountains. Every day there seemed like it was a winter day. On the road were different people selling all kinds of brands.
"Firewood that'll last all season!!"
"Fresh vegetables from the best garden!!"
"Pots and pans that'll last you years!!"
Five-year-old Yasu looked at everything that moved. The many things she saw, heard, and smelled. "If you don't hurry up, we'll let you find your way home again." a nine-year-old boy said as he continued walking.
"Mother, can't we just leave her here? That way she won't bother us on our way home." an eight-year-old girl said as she followed behind a lady.
"Now now Asami. There are many people here. We don't want to ruin our reputation." the lady said as used a fan to hide her face.
"Come along children. We'll be heading inside Yuuma booth." she signaled the two kids inside.
As Yasu followed along, the lady stopped her. "Listen Yasu. When the waiter asks what you want, you tell them that you have a stomach ache okay?"
"But you always get Asami and Daken somethi-"
"Yasu," the lady said as she firmly grabbed her shoulder.
"Yes, mother.." Yasu whispered as the lady let go of her. "And don't call me mother." the lady said as she entered. "Yes Emi"
"Welcome to Yuuma's Home Food! What could I get you guys?" a young male said. "I'd like soba," Daken said. "And I would like wagashi!" Asami beamed. "Anything for you, ma'am?" "No thank you"
"What about you little girl? You haven't spoken since you got here." Yasu gasped as Emi stared at her.
"Umm, I don't want anything thank you," Yasu mumbled. The man looked shocked as the mother smirked under her fan. "Well if you have a stomach ache we can give you a special tea!" Yasu looked at the man with a little hope. "Really?"
"What?" the mother said louder than she expected. "Yeah! Mr.Yuuma offers to those who don't feel good and it's free of charge!" Emi had a slightly irritated face until she realized some people were looking their way.
"If it's for my girl's health then we'd like one," she said as she closed her fan, faking her smile. "Okay then we'll bring your orders." the man said as he walked away.
"You're lucky that he even offered some to you. Who'd want to help a pathetic orphan like you?"
Yasu, on the verge of tears, looked at her. "Don't cry. You'll look even more pathetic." Yasu then stood up and asked a lady where she could find a well to wash her hands. She then quietly left as the two kids snickered and the lady watched her.
As she sobbed, she bumped into a young boy around her age. "Are you okay?"
"Here's your order miss," Yuuma said as he placed a plate in front of her. She snapped back to reality and all she can then think about was the smell of the food.
"Thank you for the meal," she said as she bowed her head.
As she took a bite, she felt her thoughts going away. Yasu could taste the vegetables and the porkcooked nicely and the savory yet sweet taste of the curry itself was nice. She then got some of the rice on the side and combined them.
"Would you like some pork cutlet with your meal?" Yuuma said as he smiled at Yasu. "Aren't you going to eat it, sir?" Yuuma chuckled as he handed her a plate with a pork cutlet.
"Well I'm not hungry but a strong slayer like you needs it more," he said. Yasu gave him a warm smile as she continued to finish her meal.
As Yasu finished her meal she left some money and a note. As the man went back to give her a small cup of water, she was nowhere to be found.
He looked at the counter and saw what she left. Thank you for the meal. See you some other time for another meal. ~Yasu. The man smiled as he pinned it to his board and started cleaning up.
Not so far away from the stand, Yasu checked into a small home where people rest. As she changed out of her uniform and looked at a small clock. "1:27. I should rest to meet with the others in the morning," Yasu sighed as she got into her bed.
"Today was some day," she whispered as she closed her eyes.
She saw the lady's eyes but instantly went away after thinking of the food she ate and fell asleep.
Slowly but surely she hoped that everything would stay in the past.

I have returned from rewriting this chapter over and over again.
I really like this one and I guess because I finally connected with Yasu because she was going to be like a serious cold but kind person but I decided to make her have still some childhood wonder!!
I hope you guys like the chapter and I'm sorry for not updating for 3-4 months π
Today I present a small comic that I wanted to add into the story but decided to keep it as an extra art!!

That's all and I hope you all have a good day/night and take care!!
