8|| The devil you know
As soon as Jess got the call, both her and Matt rushed from her apartment.
Jess and Matt pushed past those in the hospital, throwing out many 'sorry' and 'excuse me, I need to get through' comments at the people who where in their way. Sounds of nurses speaking with one another, and continuous beeping from machines filled Matt's ears as Jess pulled him through the building.
"Foggy?" Jess called out, making the man with the shoulder length dirty blonde hair turn his head towards her. At first his face was full of concern, but when he saw both her and Matt where there together, his face lightened up a bit.
"Oh thank God you both are okay." Foggy said, full of relief.Β
"What happened to you?" Matt asked.Β
"That explosion that happened, it hit Ms. Cardenas place." Karen stated.Β
"Oh my God." Jess said nervously, "Is she okay?"Β
"Doctors said they wanted to run a CT scan on her. The explosion was pretty bad, she was bleeding when we brought her in." Karen said, holding her arms across her chest. She looked up at Matt's face, noticing the mark of dry blood on his face, and the small bandage covering the wound. "Matt, what happened to you?" She questioned.
Jess quickly turned her head over to Matt, noticing the bandage. "He fell." She said, turning back at Karen. "I had to bandage him up."
Foggy and Jess both made eye contact with each other in that moment. Foggy had a suspicious look on his face, and Jess knew exactly where his mind was. She quickly averted her gaze towards Matt who was speaking.
"Fell down the stairs again, not that big of a deal." He shrugged, trying to steer away from the conversation. He turned towards Foggy, nodding at him when he spoke. "Did they say when your gonna be able to get out?"
"They said it could take a couple days." Foggy sighed, "The nurse took some blood, said she wanted to make sure everything looked fine other then the gash in my side." He said, motioning to the left side of his body. "Are you guys gonna be okay with me not being at work for the next few days?" He questioned.
"I'm not sure, we do seem to have a very large cliental, don't we Matt?." Jess questioned.
"Oh yes, a large line up of people." Matt played off her joke.
Everyone laughed as Jess spoke, "We'll be okay, just focus on getting better. Alright?"
"Will do." Foggy said as the curtain was quickly pulled open. A nurse in blue scrubs with dark hair walked in, looking down at a clipboard.Β
"Okay Mr. Nelson-" Claire looked up, noticing Jess and Matt. She kept her gaze on them both for a minute before reading back on the clipboard. "Everything seems to be fine with your bloodwork. The doctor said he wants to keep you here for the next few days just to monitor everything, but other then that It's just a matter of healing."Β
"Well that's good." Karen said optimistically, looking over at Foggy with an anxious smile.Β
"I'll give you guys some time before we move him into a room." Claire said, making eye contact with Jess before she closed the curtain behind her. Muffled voices came from behind Jess as she turned to face everyone again, no longer watching Claire.
Less then a minute later her phone buzzed in her pocket. She quickly pulled it out, looking at the screen where a large banner with Claire's name was.
Claire:
Meet me in the stairwell on floor 3.
Jess looked up from her phone, placing it back in her jean pocket. Matt was already looking at her, knowing something was off.
"I'm gonna go grab some coffee." Jess stated, turning back to face everyone. "You guys want anything?" She questioned.Β
"I'll take one." Karen nodded.Β
"Me too." Foggy added.
"Okay, two coffees." She said, before turning around to leave. Matt quickly grabbed her arm, making her stop. The action was small, so nobody around them saw besides them.Β
"I'll go with you." Matt offered.Β
Jess opened the curtain, walking straight ahead as Matt followed.Β
"I assume this wasn't just a coffee run." Matt said as he walked side by side with Jess. Her pace was quick as she walked through crowds of people.Β
"Claire texted me to meet her in the stairwell." She said as she held onto Matt's arm while she turned a corner, letting go when they made it around. "I think somethings wrong."
"Didn't you just see her a couple of hours ago?" Matt questioned as they continued walking. "Wouldn't she have told you if something was wrong?"
"I don't know." She said, pushing the door open as they both hurried down the stairs. "Whatever it is though, I know somethings wrong. She just had this look." She admitted.
"Well I'm glad you could see it." Matt said, trying to add some form of humor to the situation.
They both rushed down the stairs until finally Jess saw Claire leaned against the wall. She quickly stood up straight just as Matt made it down behind Jess and footsteps stopped echoing off the walls.
"What's going on?" Jess questioned, seeing by the way Claire looked she was in a panic.Β
"They think you did it." She said quickly, standing a few feet away from Jess as she whispered. She switched her gaze from Matt to Jess as she continued speaking. "Police have been questioning people, asking if they saw you there."
"Shit." Jess said, placing her hand on her face. "Why would think its us? There where no security cameras anywhere near the scene and any footage they had would have been destroyed by the explosion."Β
"Fisk." Matt said disappointingly with anger in his tone, making Jess look over towards him. "He knows we're onto him."Β Β
Jess groaned as she placed her hands on her forehead, running them down her hair and to her neck "Great." She nodded, "That's just great."
"Three people already admitted to seeing you guys." Claire said nervously, "I think you both should go, stay off the hook for a bit."Β
"We need to find Fisk." Matt stated, placing his hands on his hips.
"That's- no, that's the exact opposite of what I just said." Claire said, looking over at Jess. "You guys need to stay low, they're looking for you. What happens if they find you?"
"Either way Fisk won't stop trying to find us until he gets what he wants." Jess stated, "I'm with Matt, we need to find him." She saw that Claire had a panicked look on her face, "We'll be okay." She nodded. "Just stay here, and-" she paused trying to think as both her and Matt began to walk up the stairs. "Try and spread a good word about us."
Claire raised her hands in confused exasperation as they walked up the stairs, leaving her alone in the stairwell.Β
Matt pushed the door open, letting Jess go through the door as they both walked together. They made their way to the coffee station, grabbing two cups.
"So what's our plan?" Matt asked, handing Jess the coffee pot as she poured an even amount into both cups.Β
"That Russian guy Fisk killed, he had a brother." She said trying to concentrate, handing him the coffee pot as he handed her two lids back. "We find him, we get him to give us information as to where Fisk is, and we take care of him."Β
Jess grabbed both cups of coffee as Matt and her walked side by side.Β
"What exactly is your plan when you say take care of him?" Matt questioned, intertwining his arm with hers as they walked.
"Not all of the police force works for Fisk." She said turning a corner. "We find the cops who aren't working for him, get some evidence showing he was related to the explosion, and boom we're off the hook." She said as they stopped in front of the door going to the E.R where Foggy was. "Fisk isn't really the type of guy you can sooth over with tea and crumpets."
"You really think the police are gonna listen to a couple vigilantes who are suspects for a bombing?"Β
"It's worth a shot." She shrugged as the air became silent besides the beeping noises of machinery. Jess could see the anxious look on Matt's face, making her place both coffees in one hand and place the other hand on his. "Hey, we're onto something here." She said as Matt looked down in her direction, "Even if people think we're killers now, we'll make sure people know Fisk is the one behind all this. Okay?"
Matt lightly smiled as he leaned down and placed a soft kiss on Jess's lips. He pulled back slowly, only a few inches from her face. "Your plan is my plan, we work together now." He stated, holding her hand and intertwining his fingers with hers. "Just know, after all this is over I'm taking you on a real date."
Jess chuckled lightly, "Hopefully with a lot less blood."Β
Matt's face grew sour as they walked towards the curtain where Foggy was behind, "Well there goes my idea."Β
Jess lightly laughed as they tore open the curtain, seeing Karen and Foggy speaking with each other. The blonde was seated in a chair next to the heart monitor as her and Foggy laughed with each other. Their gaze was quickly averted towards the pair that walked into their section.
"Oh there you guys are." Foggy said sitting up a bit, "I was starting to think they put you guys to work."Β
Jess smiled lightly as she handed Karen and Foggy coffee cups. "I didn't add any sugar or cream to your coffees. I hope that's okay." Jess said, stepping back next to Matt.
"The more actual coffee the better." Foggy said, taking a sip.Β
"Jess and I are gonna head to the office and see if we missed anything today." Matt said, placing both hands on his walking stick.Β
"Oh I should probably go to-" Karen said before getting stopped by Jess who placed a soft hand on her arm.Β
"No, you need sleep." She said, letting go of her arm. "Go home, get some rest, and come in tomorrow."Β
"Are you sure?" Karen asked. "Really I'm okay to go in."Β
"Karen you haven't slept all night and you are still dealing with the impact of an explosion." Jess said. "Your not going into work. I don't care if I have to drag you to your apartment myself in order to keep you from going."
Karen offered a thankful smile as she pulled Jess into a hug. "Thank you." She said, pressed against her shoulder.Β
"I would say anytime but I would rather not have you be apart of an explosion again." She joked, pulling back with a smile. "We'll stop by tomorrow to check on you. Call us if you need anything, okay Foggy?"
Foggy chuckled. "See this-" he pointed at Jess as he looked at Matt. "This is why we hired her, Matt. She takes care of both of our clumsy ass's."Β
Matt chuckled, "We hired her for more reasons then just that Foggy." He said playfully serious, looking over at Jess. "But the idea of you taking care of us did help."
Jess rolled her eyes jokingly, "If you both would stop getting hurt I wouldn't have to play the role of Nurse Jess all the time." She said, hooking onto Matt's arm. "Now if you excuse us, We have to go play big shot lawyers who need clientele to keep the lights on."Β
"See you both later." Foggy said as they both walked off, watching the pair lock their arms with one another as the curtain closed behind them.
Jess and Matt continued walking until finally they made it out of the hospital. The day had already grown dark despite the limited amount of light it brought, making the air cold and windy as the pair walked together.Β
The majority of Jess's day had been spent taking care of Matt and talking with him about her past. Something about finally being able to tell someone about her life made her heart calmer. She no longer had that weighted feeling resting on it at all times.
"So how exactly do we find Vladimir?" Matt questioned. "I may be able to hear from far distances but that doesn't mean I can distinguish him from everyone else."Β
"When I was working alone I managed to find where he lives. Its a small apartment west of here." She said as they crossed the street. "If we go now he'll still be there. He doesn't usually leave his apartment until later at night."
"You've been following this guy?" Matt questioned. "How come I never knew?"
"I'm a woman of many mysteries, Murdock."Β
Jess threw a fist towards Vladimir's face, knocking him to the ground. Blood covered the edges of the couch he was resting on before, and was now following him as he lied on his back on the hardwood floors under him.
"You fucking bitch." He sneered, getting lifted up by the collar by Matt who slammed him into the wall behind him. A loud pound came from the impact of the body to the wall.
"If I didn't need you alive I would have already slammed your head through this wall." Matt said, pushing him by the neck further against the wall.Β
"Oh is killing me yourself where you draw the line?" The man asked, "Is that why your little girlfriend does it for you?" He peaked his head over, looking at Jess with a sly smirk as blood dripped from his mouth. "She's a feisty one, I like it."
Matt punched him in the nose, making the man let out a large groan as a crack came from his face.Β
"Tell us what we want to know about Fisk." Matt said, still holding the man up against the wall.
The man didn't speak for a minute, just looked between the two vigilantes. "You both think your different from him, but trust me-" he paused as he took a deep breath, letting out a sharp exhale in pain. "You'll get there. Sooner or later we all do, people like us, trying to make a difference in this fucking world."
"A man like Fisk just took out your entire operation." Jess said, stepping forward. "And whoever it was may not own all the cops but he owns enough that your filthy ass won't end up in a jail cell." Jess stepped closer, "It seems we're not the only people that came after you tonight, considering the bullet hole in your stomach. Help us out, we'll get you out of here alive."
The man breathed heavily, looking over at Matt while he spoke. "His lapdog came to us first. Said that his employer had taken interest in our work and invited us to be apart of something bigger if we upheld to his agreement."Β
"What did Fisk offer?" Matt asked.
"Said police would look away from us and that we wouldn't be targeted ever again." He took a deep breath as he clutched his eyes shut, "Access to Chinese and their heroine."Β
"He's working with the Chinese?" Jess questioned, crossing her arms over her chest.Β
"You don't know a single thing, don't you?" The man questioned.Β
"We want names. Everything you know about them and how they are connected to Fisk." Matt said.Β
"He has a daughter." The man said, growing weak from the blood he was loosing. "Nobody knows who she is but he talks about how he will find her again and use her as his weapon."Β
Jess felt her heart drop when he said that as instant panic arose.Β
"He said once he gets her it's all over. He will be unstoppable." The man finished.Β
"Do you have any idea who she may be? Or where she is?" Matt questioned.Β
"Like I said, nobody knows who she is." The Russian stated, "But to Fisk, she is a weapon. A very very dangerous weapon." Vladimir's voice grew soft as he drifted off, "The only two people that matter to him are her and his money man."Β
"Who's his money man?Β Where we can we find him?" Jess questioned as she saw the man drift off. "No come on, get up." She said, trying to lift his head up as Matt placed him down on the floor under him. Jess sat next to him, lifting his head and trying to keep him awake.
Vladimir's voice began to fade, "His name is-"
With that Vladimir's eyes opened fully as he slammed into Jess's head, making her fall back to the ground. Matt went towards Vladimir, trying to punch him and getting each one of his fists stopped by him. Vladimir grabbed onto a vase he had near his arm, slamming it into Matt's head as he fell to the ground.Β
"This is not how I die." Vladimir said, grabbing a knife from the bookshelf to the side of him as he headed towards Jess. He rose the knife up as Jess grabbed the handle of it, twisting the mans hand and stabbing it into his shoulder. Vladimir let out a large yelp as she did so, making him fall back.Β
Jess rushed at him, kicking her leg high as he ducked. He grabbed her by the waist, tossing her out the window and onto the fire escape with him as he punched her repeatedly. Spots of black and blue covered her eyesight as she tried to fight him off, feeling the weight of her arms become larger.Β
Matt came from behind Vladimir, grabbing him and throwing him back into the apartment. He hit his head on the coffee table in front of his already bloodied couch as he sat looking defeated.Β
"Jess." Matt said, rushing over to the girl on the fire escape. "Jess are you okay?" He questioned quietly, trying to shake her.Β
She softly nodded her head, placing her elbows under her as she attempted to stand. She looked like she was on the verge of passing out as blood dripped from the side of her face. "Fine. I'm fine."
She limped over to the Russian, grabbing onto the man by the collar as she placed him down on the floor completely.Β
"Jess he's dead." Matt said, walking over as he tried to get her to stop. She pushed him off of her, sending him back into the wall behind him. "We have to get out of here, the neighbor upstairs just called the cops."
"I'm not done with you." She spat, clasping her hands together on his chest as she began pressing down on it, giving him chest compressions. "Come on!" She slammed down on his chest.
Matt came over, holding Jess by the shoulders as he turned her towards him. "Jess you need to let him go." He said, trying to stop her from continuing. "We need to get out of here."Β
"You promised me that we would find Fisk." Jess announced. "This is our chance, I'm not stopping until this son of a bitch tells me exactly what we need."Β
Matt knew there was no getting her to stop, he quickly pushed her out of the way, slamming his balled up fist hard onto his chest. "Wake-" another slam." "-Up.
A loud breath came from the man in front of them as Matt leaned back, listening to the man as he coughed. Sounds of blood filled his mouth as it spat everywhere down his mouth.Β
"What-" The Russian said, looking over and seeing Jess and Matt both on their knees breathless. "No- no why would you keep me alive!" He yelled.Β
"We aren't leaving until you give us what we need on Fisk." The masked man said, looking down at the Russian. "Now tell us-"
A crinkling sound came from across the room, and both Jess and Matt looked over in sync. "I'd like to speak with the vigilantes." A voice familiar to Jess said, making her heart race faster then it ever has before.Β
"Hello?" The same voice called again over the radio. "I know your there."
Matt walked over cautiously, keeping an arm on Jess's chest as she walked behind him. He bent down, picking up the walkie-talkie that was on the floor next to Vladimir's jacket.
"Who is this?" Matt asked, knowing exactly who it was.Β
Jess stood in front of Matt as he spoke, her arms hanging next to her.Β
"I think you know."Β Β Fisk said. "You've been asking about me. I figured it was time I spoke with you and your partner."Β
"You and I have much more in common then you would think." The voice called.Β
"We are nothing alike." Matt sneered into the radio. "You feed off this city like cancer."Β
"I want the same thing you and your partner want for this city." Fisk stated.Β
"Tell that to the people you hurt." Jess said, not covering her voice this time with an accent. She spoke with fear into the radio.Β
It took a moment before a voice came from the radio, "Your his partner." He said mater-of-factly. "I must say, I'm impressed by the work you do. I will admit though, as much as you would like to say you are a hero...we both know your otherwise."
Jess felt like she was about to vomit. She stepped back, placing her hand over her mouth as she began to shake unmanageably. Her heart was pounding against her chest as she watched Matt. She knew he was listening to her heartbeat, which made her panic even more.
He knows.Β
He knows who she is.Β
Jess didn't say anything, just stepped back as Matt listened to her pounding heart. He quickly spoke into the radio, turning around to face the other way as he did so.
"We're gonna find you." Matt spat aggressively in a deep tone, "And we will make you pay for every life you have taken. Every person you have hurt in this city."
"No...no you won't." Fisk stated calmly.Β
"I'm sorry to say this but a voice over a radio won't stop me from finding you." Matt stated, "You don't scare me."
"It's not me you should be scared of." Fisk said, "It's the city that now thinks your the cause of their homes getting blown up."
Jess turned her head quick towards the radio as she listened attentively.Β
"You really think people are going to believe that?" Jess asked from a distance. "We help people, we keep this city safe-"
"You are running around in a mask doing things only police officers have the right to do." Fisk interrupted. "I think out of the both of us, I have a hold on how things work."
Jess looked at Matt, and something had changed in him. He was rageful, but also fearful. His hands where shaking slightly as his jaw twitched.Β
"I'm going to give you a one time offer. For both of you." Fisk said. "You kill the Russian, we call this night a push."
Jess looked over at Vladimir who was sitting on the ground, looking at Jess with fear in his eyes.Β
You know what we do to people who hurt us? We kill them.
"You know what he's done. To women, to children." Fisk said.
Matt turned his head toward Vladimir, still listening as Fisk spoke.Β
"You know how much he enjoyed it?" Fisk asked, making Jess pull the radio from Matt's hand as she spoke into it.Β
"No." Jess said into the radio as she shook her head, "You don't get to do this. You don't get to act like the hero when we both know you are nothing but a weak and pathetic man." She said angrily as tears began to fill her eyes in rage. "You are not the fucking hero!" She yelled.
Sounds of sirens filled the distance as she ragefully yelled into the radio, cutting Fisk off with every word he said.Β
"I will find you! Fuck- I will find you!" She cried, "And you will never ever hurt anyone again. Do you got that Fisk?" She yelled. "Do you fucking understand me?"
"We have to go." Matt said, grabbing onto Jess's arm as he rushed towards the fire escape, being met with police cars below who's lights where shining brightly in between buildings, creating red and blue haze's on each and every one of the small red bricks.Β
Jess looked back at Vladimir who was lying on the ground, eyes low as he peered at her. He took one more sharp inhale, speaking with exhaustion in his voice.Β
"Kill him...kill him for me." Vladimir said, "The man who controls Fisk's money...his name is Leland Owlsley, he'll give you the information you need."Β
Jess watched the man with sorrow in her eyes. She didn't feel bad for what he had done, but rather what he had gotten himself into.Β
"Thank you." She said sympathetically.Β
"Don't thank me," The Russian said, "take him down."
Jess nodded, "We will."Β
Both her and Matt jumped onto the roof, running as fast as they could away from the sounds of gunfire and screaming.Β
"Don't move." Matt said, placing a cloth with alcohol on Jess's forehead.Β
Jess winced at the touch, squinting her eyes shut at the burning sensation. Matt was kneeled down next to her as she sat on his couch, her head resting on a pillow under her. He leaned over, searching for a bandage with his hands until he finally grabbed one.Β
"That guy Vladimir mentioned, Owsley-" She paused, letting him press a bandage to her forehead. "-I've heard of him before. When I worked for my old firm he came in a lot, paying bills for our clients." Matt moved away, grabbing another bandage for below her first cut. "I can try and talk with Michael about getting his case file, maybe it could help us out a bit."
Matt nodded, "I can do some research tomorrow at work. See if that guy has any information about him online." He pressed the bandage to her head again, "Knowing that he's working for Fisk he more then likely doesn't have any criminal files on him."
"A guy like him wouldn't have any anyway." She shook her head, "He may be working for Fisk but he's a clean guy. The only criminal history he has is most likely just a parking ticket."Β Β
Matt shrugged, focusing hard on bandaging her wounds. "I'll take anything I can get on this guy. Whatever we can get in order to put Fisk away for good." He spoke softly as his voice rasped, "There's always a witness, or a piece of paper that will help get us what we need."
Matt leaned back from Jess, turning his head to the table where the white box rested.Β
"You know for a blind man your not that bad of a nurse." Jess said, looking over at Matt who was closing up the first-aid kit.
Matt chuckled lightly, "I've had some practice with this." He leaned back, crinkling the paper wrapper in his hands as he stood up, walking to the kitchen where he threw it away.Β
"Before I had Claire I had to do this is all myself." He walked back towards Jess, motioning to his shirtless figure that had white patches of gauze separated everywhere. "Stabbed myself a couple times while trying to stitch myself up, but after a while I got the hang of it." He motioned over to the box with his head as he sat in front of Jess on the couch.
She softly laughed, "When I was younger Lily was always the one that bandaged me up." Jess said, sitting up and feeling at her head softly. "She was always thinking about nursing as an option, but I think I kinda ruined that for her after coming to her nightly basis bleeding."Β
She lifted her shirt up, grabbing Matt's hand slowly and placing it on a scar she had just below her bra. "This is from when I got stabbed for the first time." She paused as Matt scooted closer to her, "Lily had to stitch me up. She was so scared that she would make me bleed out, but somehow I trusted her enough to not worry." She said, "She has a way of doing that. Taking away all the stress of one situation."
Matt's hand guided itself over the scar, feeling at every ripple of the skin as he moved his hand back and fourth. His touch was soft, but enough to make Jess's entire body grow warm. His hand slowly began to feel around more, going up to her collarbone where a scar rested just above it. It was slanted and long, going down to her shoulder.Β
"That one is from my dad." She said almost somberly, "He got mad one night and sliced me with a piece of glass." Matt felt around, swiping a finger all the way down to her shoulder until the line finally stopped.
"I'm sorry." He said apologetically, feeling around. "You didn't deserve to go through that."
"What happened happened." She shrugged, a feeling of guilt panging through her body. "It's over now, so there isn't much I can do about it besides try and forget."
Matt's head looked up in the direction of Jess as they sat in silence, The lights from outside his apartment shone into his brown eyes as he reached his hand out for Jess. She took it, seeing his other hand come from next to him as it cupped her ass. He guided her onto him, making it so she was straddling his lap.Β
She looked down at him as he stared up in the direction of her. He slowly took her shirt off, throwing it off to the side of the couch as he placed his hands on her bare lower back. He moved his mouth to her collarbone, kissing down the line of her scar with soft butterfly kisses. He did it going down, then back up until he made his way towards her neck. He stopped, breathing hot air onto her neck as his face rested just above it.
"Are you?-" He questioned looking towards her, "Are you okay with this?"
Jess nodded, "Yeah." She said with one simple breath, her heart racing out of her chest.Β
He cupped her face, moving his lips feverishly over hers as they both collided together. Jess wrapped her arms around Matt's neck, feeling his hands move back down to her lower back as he moved over, placing her down softly on the leather couch as he moved on top of her. His right hand was next to her face, and his left was holding her waist as he continued kissing her.Β
Their tongues intertwined with each other as she moved her hands to his shoulders, gently kneading into them with her fingers at the pace of their lips. Matt pulled back slowly, going down her body with his lips as he placed small kisses everywhere.Β
Jess arched her head back as a soft moan escaped her lips. When he made it down to her legs he unbuttoned her pants, pulling them down her thighs and too her ankles, sliding them all the way off. He rested in between her legs which where elevated on his shoulders. He leaned down, pushing over the soaked cotton that was resting on her clit as he dove in, licking a stripe over it.Β
Jess's head leaned back as she held onto the arm rest of the couch, digging her nails in the brown leather. The feeling was ecstatic to her. Like she was on cloud nine. He continued the motion, making her stomach clench up with each moment he continued.
Her stomach clenched up as her mind went foggy. Soon after, she felt herself release as words escaped Matt's lips.Β
"Good girl." He said, placing kisses down her thighs as he sat up on his knees.Β
His fingers moved over every curve of her body, his lips plastered red as the gliss from her cum covered them. "Your beautiful." He said, fingers swerving over her hips, to her stomach, to her chest, making her shiver from the stark contrast in temperature. "Like a goddess."Β
Jess smiled softly to herself as he made his way up to her face, giving her that devilishly amazing smile he always wore. He dove into her lips as they melted into one another, keeping the heat with each other the rest of the night as the moon watched over them.Β
A/N- Shitty smut I know, but I didn't want them to dive in fully considering they where just beating the shit out of Vladimir.Β
Also can we talk about the fact that I love the idea of them showing each otherΒ their scars? It sounds stupid but that just feels like such a meaningful thing for them.
I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and keep a look out for the next chapter which should be out this week. I also wanted to throw out that I am also writing one shots for anyone interested. Requests are open and I update those as much as possible and would appreciate if you checked it out. Stay safe and have a wonderful week everyone!
